From: Xoftspy Scan Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them. Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it'd be because they had high - traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I'd know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I'd make daily with their programs. Maybe you've already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered. I decided I'd look through the all of the "get rich quick" programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section. In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn't care less about their customers since they didn't offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work. I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying! Their programs have excellent prices, and the authors have a group of paid staff who are dedicating to helping you or providing assistance if you need any. I must say I was amazed! If you do decide to purchase any of the programs listed below, I recommend you join quickly. Most of the owners tell me they are getting an overwhelming number of sales and plan on raising prices in the near future, so order while prices are still low! To Your Online Success, Xoftspy Scan

I have a confession to make. Starting something new sucks. Yup. Plain and simple I'm impatient and when I see something I want, I don't want to have to go through the growing pains of getting it to where I want. Can you relate to that? For example, many of you know that I'm relatively new as an information marketer. I started my career almost a year and a half ago and some people would say that I've enjoyed a fair amount of success in such a short period. I would agree and I'm very happy with the progress that I've made. However, being surrounded with marketing gurus like Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin, John Childers, Jim Edwards, and Matt Bacak, I see that I have a long way to go. I know for a fact that these guys make hundreds of thousands of dollars a month on complete autopilot and their income only grows every year. In addition I've enjoyed watching their students implement the strategies they've learned from these guys and then experience all kinds of success. Now the key word there is IMPLEMENT!! It didn't take me long before I learned one of the most valuable lessons of my career. You should memorize this because it will help you get more done, faster and you'll be up and making money quicker and easier. Here it is. Write this down. You Don't Have To Get It Right, You Just Have To Get It Going. Success in life is nothing more than a series of small wins. However most people try to tackle a HUGE project or idea and they get so overwhelmed that they never even begin. Think about it... Bill Gates didn't create Windows XP before he created Windows 2000, or Windows 95 or even Windows 3.1. But let me ask you a question... Do you think he would have the market dominance he has if he had waited until he had completed Windows XP? NO way. All he did was get going. I guarantee you many of the ideas he had in the later versions of Windows were initially dreamed of when he first created Windows 3.1 but he didn't wait for it to be absolutely perfect. He just got going. So, I sat back and started asking myself questions. I was looking for answers as to why people like Alex, Armand and John just keep on experiencing tremendous success, project after project, and why I was struggling to get my projects up, completed and making money. Through this reflection I saw something that was holding me back. Perhaps you've experienced this yourself. Here is the problem: I was trying to tackle the whole project all at once instead of breaking it down into bite size pieces. This resulted in me getting irritated, overwhelmed and disheartened. Then within the exact same week Armand Morin showed me something that really hit home. I had proudly opened my laptop and started my mind mapping software where I had brainstormed all kinds of new product and business ideas. With passion and excitement I enthusiastically began to tell him what I was planning on doing. Then he did something I will never forget. He grabbed my computer mouse and closed my mind mapping program. I was dumbfounded. Was he kidding or was this some kind of lesson? Here is what he said: "Stop Generating New Ideas And Start Implementing The Ones You Have!!" Talk about a wake up call!! Generating ideas was my form of procrastination. That was a "light bulb moment". I wasn't getting any of my ideas completed because every time I came across an obstacle I would stop what I was doing and start brainstorming on something completely different and unrelated. Can you relate to that? So let me ask you a question... What form of procrastination is preventing you from getting your projects completed? Armand explained his point by making another demonstration. He opened his computer and logged on to the internet and took me to several of his websites where he has products available for sale. Then he said "I want to buy what you have for sale. Take me to your website". Guess what? I didn't have one. I only had two explanations why - I didn't have any completed projects for sale and/or I didn't have a sales page up for my completed projects. Duhhh!! You Can't Make Money Until You Launch Your Projects He hit me square between the eyes by showing me what I was doing to sabotage my success. His outside perspective seems so obvious in hindsight but I can honestly say that without it I wouldn't have made the $111,000+ I did on my most recent project. Completed projects can do wonders for you and your business because they BUILD MOMENTUM. You can't build a BIG snowman until you create a snowball and get it rolling. The same principle applies to your information marketing business. You can't make $1,000,000 until you make $100,000. Similarly you can't make $100,000 until you make $10,000 and you can't make $10,000 until you make $1,000. So often we are trying to go for the million right out of the gates and we get disappointed and frustrated when it doesn't happen. So the moral of this story … Just get your projects completed and available for someone to buy!!
You’ve started a home business, now what? You have a wonderful home business and you want to tell everyone. You have people that are interested. You want to call them. You don’t want to sound like a salesperson. You want to give them all the information. 1. Ask “How are you? This way you start small talk and try to make them feel as ease. Ask about the weather? Just to make you sound like a person not a salesperson. 2. Ask “Are you still interested in _____? Make sure they are still interested in listening to what you have. You don’t want to start out giving information if they are not interested. If they do say they are not interested ask Why? Sometimes it just not a good time to chat and find out when would be a good time. Or they have found something else so ask what is it? 3. Can I ask you a few questions? You want to ask their permission to move on. You want to let them know you have questions pertaining to what you have. 4. WHY do you want to work from home? You want to know what is the reason they want to work at home. Money, family, time. These are the reasons they want to work at home. 5. How much do you want to earn? Part-time or full-time, replacement income? This will give you a gauge on how important it is for them to earn extra money. They help both the business person and the prospect. After you get the answers to those 5 questions then go into your business and what you do. If you have business overview calls, ask permission to take them to one of those calls. Give them an approximate time on how long it would take including questions. Now that you know what to say you can get your business moving forward and starting helping others. Make it fun and if you make a mistake, don’t worry about it. We are only human.
When I started my first business I didn’t have a solid, well thought-out business plan. I threw together a rough one that I used to apply for a bank loan (which I didn’t get, by the way). I’ve found the best way to make sure a business is going to be successful is to create a business plan. It doesn’t need to be pages long and take you days and days to complete. Below I’ve created a quick 30 Minute Business Plan. A good business plan will help you figure out approximately what your business will cost to get off the ground. You don’t want to guess at this. Knowing your costs will help you decide what you’re going to charge. The 30 Minute Business Plan below also includes information about your competition. Don’t forget about them. In one way or another they exist and you’re going to want to get to know them. The bottom line – most businesses fail because they don’t have a clearly spelled-out business plan. Don’t make that mistake. For those of you who have been in business for awhile, don’t think a business plan can’t help you. Your business plan should be taken out on a regular basis, reread and updated. Your 30 Minute Home Business Plan 1. What is your business exactly? Explain in one or two sentences. (If you can’t describe your business in a couple of sentences, rethink your business and focus your idea). 2. Is your particular business needed? List the reasons that make you thinks so. 3. Where do you see your business in one year? In three years? In five years? (Be specific.) 4. How will you fund your business? Savings, credit cards, loans? 5. What equipment/office supplies/licenses will you need to get your business started? Total Cost? 6. What organizations and trade publications will you need? Total Cost? 7. Who is your target customer? Describe them. 8. What other businesses will you be competing with? 9. What makes your business different from your competitor’s business? (Include price, quality, unique services, etc.) 10. Where will you set up your home office? Is it going to cost me money to make a nice workable office? Cost? 11. Will you use daycare everyday or once a week? Cost? 12. How much money do you need to make each month to help my family survive? Once again, this is just a partial list, but there are enough questions here to give you a good idea of what you’ll be facing with a new business and the costs involved. A business plan is essential to your successful home business. As one great quote says, Those who fail to plan, plan to fail. – Author Unknown [ Submitted with ArticleSubmitter Pro - articlesubmitterpro]

You can also submit articles with your tinyurl (see below) in the bio line at the bottom of the work. (c) Page or URL Rotator A URL rotator is a must for an online free home based business. It will allow you to send all your advertising to one place – the rotator. It then shares all the incoming hits amongst the products you have chosen advertise. Having a rotator allows you to change products without having to go back and change all the advertisements for your free home based business. There are many excellent free rotators on the web. A good one will provide you information about the number of page hits sent to each product and where the incoming hits came from. (d) TinyURL Most page rotators have quite long names. Write and submit an article per week with your tinyurl in the bio line 7. Find a number of active forums and post helpful messages making sure your tinyurl is included in your signature line. 8. Start you own free blog. Put a new entry in your blog at least once per week. Make sure there are plenty of links to your free home based business products from your blog. Always announce your blog updates using the tool at pingomatic. Your objective is to get as many links back to your page rotator as you possibly can. The more people who see you links the more traffic to your rotator and the more sales you will make. There it is, the basis of a free home based business and the start of your online empire. To your success!
By Kirk Bannerman The reasons people express for wanting to work from home are many and varied, but most home based business owners cite the ability to set their own hours as a major factor in their decision to work at home. However, many people that have work at home businesses often fall into a trap that flies directly in the face of their stated desire for time flexibility. The strong growth in home based business activity continues and, according to the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy, fifty-two percent of ALL small businesses are home-based. Some home based business owners have been known to become "workaholics" because their office is so accessible. Don't become a slave to your business...get out of your home office regularly to renew and revitalize yourself. Close the door to your office or otherwise remove yourself from your designated "work area" and go into your "home" area to live your personal life. If your business involves the use of the telephone and you find it difficult to ignore a ringing phone in the office, simply turn the ringer off and turn the volume on the answering machine way down. If your business is internet based, just turn off your computer (or at least get away from the monitor and keyboard). As a work at home business entrepreneur, you certainly aren't required to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week just because your business is located in your home. After all, your office or workspace is just an area in your home...its not your home itself! Working and living under the same roof has a host of advantages, but it can present some challenges (in addition to the workaholic syndrome mentioned, above) and stress factors. Here are four ways to create a less stressful home business environment: -Remember why you wanted to become involved with a home-based business (i. e. more time for family, work schedule flexibility, etc.) -Have discussions with your family members and get their input about the working arrangements and the amount of time they want with you. -Use good time management techniques. Keep a list of tasks by order of importance. There are many low cost and effective "day planners" or "organizers" readily available today. -ALWAYS take a little time to "smell the roses". While not experiencing the negatives common to a corporate office working environment, the home-based business owner may occasionally experience stresses and frustrations that are unique to working at home. Networking with other home-based and small business owners provides an opportunity to connect with others who may be experiencing the same stresses/frustrations that you are. Sharing stressful and/or frustrating issues with someone else in the same situation can relieve your stress and may bring you good advice from a different point of view. As a final note, remember to observe Home-Based Business Week each year (it is always the week of October that includes the second Tuesday).
It usually sickens me when I see people fail in their home business just because of one problem. Many home business people are discouraged from trying to learn new knowledge or skills that will take their businesses to a new level because of time issues. They already feel that their lives are too busy and they don't see how it is possible to fit more commitments into their already jammed schedules. Other home business entrepreneurs take an overly laid-back approach to business adventure. They sign themselves up for marketing forums and affiliate programs and then don't take those forums and programs seriously. At the end of the month or year they wonder why their business, income and lives has not improved! This is as a result of the problem of the “later “syndrome. (Never do today what you can put off for tomorrow. Better yet, never put off 'til tomorrow what you can avoid altogether! ) The later syndrome is a very big hindrance to many home businesses. Does your home business also suffer from this syndrome? What is the later syndrome anyway? This is where by a home business owner puts off what he/she should have done today, for a later time. Simply put, the “later” syndrome is “procrastination”. Other people prefer to call it the “tomorrow syndrome” Procrastination can manifest itself in ways as simple as taking too long to write an ezine ad, putting off article submission or letting slide the date when you promised yourself you'd start an advertising campaign. The later syndrome in our home businesses is something we can be aware of and deal with over time. Procrastination is so lethal to your home business. You should avoid it. The future of your home business depends on you, just the same as with an athlete, an actor or anyone else who depends on peak personal performance to make a living. That's why everyone who wants to be successful in their home businesses has to take steps to deal with the ” later syndrome” if and when it appears. How do you deal with the “later” syndrome? Try to ensure that you be disciplined. If you have scheduled a task to be done today, do it. Do not put it off for a later date or time. In other words, improve your time management skills. Just remember that success in home business is a result of simple disciplines performed every day. Such simple disciplines include sticking to your work shedule no matter what. For example, if you are supposed to write an article for submission today, write it. Do not give room to any excuses that may tempt you to write it later. Failure in any home business is a result of cumulative errors in judgment and decision repeated every day. Such simple errors include procrastination (Also known as the “later” syndrome. Another technique is to create an environment where you can fully concentrate on your work. Not all people can concentrate in a noisy and chaotic environment. So have a well designated home business office with a conducive environment favorable for concentration. So, if you think you need success in your home business, you should steer away from the “later” syndrome. In summary, you can fight the later syndrome in your home business by following these points. · Make a list of what needs to get done. This can be listed in no particular order and will give you a handle on just what you need to accomplish. · Prioritise these. My way of doing this is by deadlines. I arrange them in order of when they are due. You may also choose to rank them by how important it is to get them done. For example, writing an article and submitting it to article directories on time may be more important to your home business than replying to your friends email. Do that first. · Get yourself a calendar with room to write notes in. I personally use a bound notebook and write in dates as I go. I make pages with dates for long-term planning and also keep a separate list that I transfer my short-term goals to. · Take what's at the top of your priority list and determine how long it will take to accomplish it. If it's a quick task, put that down to be done the current day. If it will take a longer time, divide it into smaller tasks to be spread out over several days. Write this in your calendar with specific dates for accomplishing each. Include your deadline for completion of this task on your calendar as well. · Keep filling your calendar until you have a time set aside to do each item while still meeting your deadlines. Be careful to not overbook yourself and allow plenty of time for delays. This will allow you to feel confident that you can accomplish all you need to in the time you have. Now you can relax and work on one item at a time without feeling you have to do it all at once.

People who practice passion in their work always perform their work at their best. They always strive for perfection in everything. They see perfection as unattainable in most things. But their eagerness drive them much nearer to it than those whose laziness and despondency make them give it up as an imperfection. Passionate workers put extra care in their work and they aren’t satisfy for anything less. At this point you might be asking either one or more of the following questions: 1. Do I need passion even though my work is just a home business? 2. To whom will I use passion? 3. What will passion do for me? What is its impact in my performance? 4. How may I know my passion? The last question on the list is very interesting. In one way or the other, passion creates a difference in terms of performance between a passionate worker and the other. What do you like the most? What are your interests? What type of job do you enjoy the most? The answers to these questions vary depending on the personality of a worker. But whatever will it be, if you can answer the questions then that will be your checklist on how you may know your passion. Each worker has different passion. One’s passion is not the same with the other. Your job as a home business representative takes a little talking to different people. If you found that your passion is more on communication, then you are really entitled for the home business. If you like to deal with different people and enjoy front liner’s job, you are really fitted for the home business.
Get Rich Quick Scams RevealedRead this article before you consider paying for a "get rich quick" program. From: Your New CareerEverybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. To Your Online Success, Your New Career

Now Consider this: Because I achieved total personal and financial freedom inside of 6 months...and because I've already helped numerous others duplicate my success.. I am extending you an open invitation to duplicate my success with my already proven blueprints and personal guidance... Something many people ony wish for. I know I did. So I ask you... Will you be the next Success story in a home based business in 2006? Sadly, most people have flat-out given up on the life of their dreams... and they've resigned themselves to a life of struggle, lack, and limitation. They suffer in the Land of Opportunity. And they are fooled into believing the lie that it has to be this way. Most people don't realize that with proper leadership and the right opportunity, virtually anyone with desire can acheive the lifestyle and level of income the want with ease! I'm living proof: Ever since I've started my home based business I feel a rush of iinternal excitement. I am literally helping people just like you exit the rat-race and achieve the same level of success I enjoy. One of the reasons I enjoyed a speedy rise to the top of this home based business is that I'm very selective about the people I work with. You need to possess a willingness to be successful. The individuals you associate with will help you be that person. Successful people tend to affliate with others who posses the same attributes. Wishful Hoping & No Action is Not Going to Cut It. Here a three reasons why: 1. There is nothing Casual About Worthwhile Achievement. You must Earn your way to success in life-no matter what you do. Only then will you achieve a casual life style with enough money for you and your family to enjoy it in style. My personal achievement channel was my home based business. 2. Trying is Not Doing. People with a " see what happens" attitude get to see what happens, alright...they sit their lazy butts down as they "see" others rapidly making wheelbarrels of success-but they never do it themselves. The success of entrepreneurship depends soley on YOUR drive and desire. 3. You need to be honest with yourself to avoid wasting your time in a home based business. If you only kid yourself, you won't experience a positive change in your life until you First make a postive change. Through personal growth techniques I realized that focusing on positive energy will replace the negativity that is keeping you from achieving the success in your home based business that is vital for your financial freedom. I deserve my success because I took charge of my life. If your wondering what I do with the rest of my time, I ENJOY LIFE. I CHOOSE MY ACTIVITIES.
Balancing work life with family sure can be challenging in this day and age. Most of us are working harder and longer just trying to keep up with the bills and the overall cost of living. The cost of everything keeps going up: food, utilities, gasoline, insurance, and day care, just to name a few. It's hard to keep up and still spend quality time with your children. As a result, more and more people are choosing to start their own home based businesses. While it's true that working from home can keep you closer to your family, it also requires a well-organized and consistent approach in order to meet the needs of both your business and family life. To be successful, you must find ways to put in the hours necessary to start and grow your business without being detoured by family matters. You will need to manage your tasks and optimize your time. If you or your spouse hold a regular job, then conscientious time management will be even more crucial. By establishing boundaries and through careful planning, you can manage your time and priorities so that your family can be an asset to your business rather than a distraction. First, think about how you could divide business specific tasks between you and your spouse. Plan your work, then work your plan. For example, while one spouse is at the workplace holding down a conventional job, the other can stay at home and spend time working the business by writing and posting ads, doing research, ordering product, and so forth. In the evenings when the spouse returns home from the office, that person can take over duties such as answering emails and making phone calls for training and prospecting purposes, while the other attends to the children and household tasks. Also, consider recruiting your children into your home business. They may be able to help with certain tasks. Perhaps your oldest child can babysit the younger siblings during certain times of the day or evening. Children may also be able to help by preparing items for mailing, cleaning your office, and organizing and filing paperwork (don't be shocked, however, when you get asked to raise their allowance!). Talk with your family and come to some agreements about the importance of your home business. Make them aware of the demands it places on each member as well as yourself. Gain their understanding and cooperation. Restrict personal use of the telephone to specific times so that your line will not be tied up during your business hours (or better yet, consider having a second phone line installed to be used just for business). Lay down the law that family must stay out of your office area during working hours. To make it easier for them to adhere to your rules, try to coordinate your work schedule with family activities, and schedule some non-business time during crucial times of the day, such as when the kids get home from school and at mealtimes. Be sure to discuss your business schedule with extended family members and friends. Inform them of your working hours and ask them not to drop by or call you during those times when you are working on your business. Work hard and fast to build your home business, and keep going! Make the whole family aware of what you are doing and what you need from them. You'll probably find that they are all willing to help however they can. The rewards will be worthwhile, and you and your family can reap the benefits for years to come. Tired of working the nine-to-five job? Tired of your boss? Tired of working to make someone else rich? Want to work at home so you can be with your family more? Do you like the Internet? Some of those questions are the titles to spam emails you get. They offer get rich schemes, just fill out surveys and get paid, get paid just to surf the web, get paid to shop, etc. etc. But what is the real scoop about starting my own Internet Business from home? In this article we will help you learn some of the facts about owning your own home business based on the web. We will tell you how to avoid the hype and tell you the straight facts about how to start and maintain your own Internet Business. Are you ready? You have all probably read many stories about how people with nothing have become millionaires on the web. You have no doubt received tons of spam email promising you that the same thing can happen to you, all you have to do is buy this ebook, this software, sign up as a member, etc. etc. Multi-Level-Marketing or MLM programs were around before the Internet was in everyone’s home, but since then they have boomed. There are many programs that offer to “get you in on the ground floor”. All you have to do is sign up and those who sign up after you will make you rich. Most of these are actually pyramid schemes. If the primary goal is to recruit new members and not to sell products, then it is likely a scam, so beware of those. The first thing you should know about starting any business is that it is hard work. You think your boss was bad? Wait until you are your boss. For some reason many people think that while starting an offline business is hard work, starting one on the web is easy. I really don’t understand that philosophy, except for the fact we get so many emails promising to make you rich with little or no work at all. Let me tell you this. When you start any business, whether it’s a store, a gas station, or whatever, you know you will have to go in everyday, put in long hours and be smart if you are going to become successful. It is no different when starting an online or home business. If you are not prepared to put in the hours and the work, you will not be any more successful online than you would be offline. There are no shortcuts, no magic pills, no marketing plans that can make you rich online without hard work. If you are not prepared to put in the time and the work necessary to any successful business, don’t quit your day job and just continue to be a consumer surfing the web instead of trying to find a way to get rich without work. That may sound harsh to you, but the web is full of people trying to get something for nothing and we don’t need any more of those. However, if you are a person who is willing to put in the time and effort, the web can be a great place to make your living. How do you get started? Well, first of all, what are your interests? If you choose a business you don’t have a lot of interest in, you will find it very difficult to stay motivated. Look at things that interest you when deciding what type of online business you want to have. Not all online businesses require having a website, but most do, so we are going to start there. Lets say you have chosen what you are going to sell, whether it is products, services, or promoting affiliate programs. You will need a domain name. The first thing people think is that they should have a catchy name that equals the name of their business and that it should be their domain name. Not true. Generic domain names that contain keywords that describe your products or services are best. Your company name will be on the front page of your website, but the domain name is what people will remember and what will help people find you through the search engines. Where do I register my domain name? There are many cheap registrars out there for registering domain names, but don’t go with the cheap ones. You get what you pay for. Go with the ones that provide you the most service. Do you really think saving $20 per YEAR on your domain name is going to make or break your business? If so, stop now, do not pass go, go back to your day job. Now you have a domain name, now what? You will need hosting for the new website you are going to build or have built. Again, look for the hosting that provides you the most service. You want 24-hour tech support. You want a lot of space, but most of all you want a lot of bandwidth. You want easy access to your files and a control panel, not just ftp access. You also want a host who provides a lot of extras like “instant install” of gallery managers, content managers, calendar programs, and other scripts for forums, blogs, and more. The more they offer, the better, because you don’t know where your business might lead you. A cheap host is just that, a cheap host. Now you will need a website to put up on the host. You can buy a website on Ebay or from others that are already built and ready to go or you can have one built to your specifications. You can also learn to build your own website and save money, but make sure you research how to do this very well before you choose that option. Building a website that is not optimized for the search engines or one that does not function or navigate easily will hurt your business, so if you are not ready to build one you are sure will work, have the work done or buy one. Also, people have the perception that their website must be beautiful in order to be successful. They think they must have flashy introductions, databases, dynamic content, great graphics, etc. etc. None of those things I just mentioned will help you become successful on the web. They are great to have, but do not put undue importance on the dressing. Promoting your website will be the key to it’s success along with the content that is in your website. Those are the things you will focus on if you wish to have a successful online business. On building your website or buying one, make sure that it has a lot of text content rich with keywords that apply to the products or services you will be selling. You want it to have a professional look and feel, but you don’t need it to be too flashy. There are a lot of freelance websites out there where you can post the job you want done and people will bid on doing the job for you. That is a good way to find a web designer that wants to do a good job for a competitive price. Now you have your domain name, your hosting, and your new website. What now? Well, it’s not like in the movie Field of Dreams, where If you build it, they will come. That doesn’t apply to websites unfortunately. You will need to promote your website. This is where the work starts. This is what will demand the most of your time, because if you do not promote your website, the customers will never come buy anything. They won’t be able to find you out of the millions of websites that are out there. You have to be better than the next guy. You have to be willing to promote your website for more hours than the next guy. And you have to beat the next guy to the latest and greatest methods of website promotion. There are several things you will be doing with your new website. First and foremost, you will be writing articles like this one about the products and services you sell and topics related to them. You will also spend time submitting these articles to websites that offer free content to webmasters. A lot of website owners are hungry for good original content. They go to these content providers and pull articles related to their products and services and put those articles into their websites. Since your article, like the one I am writing here, has an author bio section at the bottom with links to your website, every website owner that inserts your article into their website is now another website that links to you. That increases your link popularity, which in turn helps you get better listings in search engine results for your keywords. Writing at least one article everyday will move you up in the search engine rankings before you know it. This is my fourth article for the day, just to give you an idea of how much I’m willing to promote my website. You can also post a lot on blogs and forums that are related to your products or services. In the signature line you put a link to your website. In this subtle way you not only create another website that has a link to your website, but by participating in the forum or blog you may just have users there want to see your website and might want to buy your product or services. You also want to put your link in your email, on your business cards, on your letterhead, and anywhere else you can. Having your own business, whether online or offline is a way of life, not a nine to five job. So be sure you are ready to do whatever it takes to be successful. Because if you are not ready to work harder than you ever have before, having your own business is not for you.
