    Give him a stone

Give Him a Stone. Luke 11:10-11:13 (NIV, NIRV, TNIV, KJV) Give Him a Stone. I was raised up in the rural parts of appalachia, some said that it would be noon before the sun would hit the ground. Raised by hard working parents, never tiring of working from dawn to dusk, to provide for their children. One year, my parents moved from the home, I was born in, to another house, so that I and my brothers and sister, would be closer to the school we attended. We had hard times there, not really fitting in with the rest of the students, were we poor? Not really, My dad would rise before the sun was up, go to work and my mother would always have breakfast on the table before we got out of bed. Our clothes were always clean and pressed. Being the youngest, I was the recipient of many a hand-me down from my brothers. I didn’t mind, some of their clothes were pretty cool. Dad always bought us new clothes before we started school and demanded that we take good care of them. My oldest brother Richard, moved out west, another brother, Ronnie, died, Willie and Carl, went to war, and my sister got married, I felt so alone, in a house that was always filled with love and protection. I was learning what life was really all about. But, all in all, I remembered that what ever we needed as children, growing up, was always there, Love, Food, water, clothing and shelter. Life was Brown Beans and Cornbread. A simple life but one that was filled with Love, one for another. I was taught about Jesus, and how every need we had would be filled by Him, and how a new family would take a part in my life, the church. I was taught, ”Ask and you shall receive” I thought that this was great, I thought that there would be no christian that would ever do without as long as we were all in the church family. Lets read a little of what I was taught. Luke 11:10-13; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? To me this man Jesus was what I needed in life and because we were in His Fathers Family all our needs would be met. Later in life I strayed from the family, trying to do things my way, you know a young man with no worries, problems or fear. But one thing I always kept in the back of my mind is the words of Jesus. After a number of years, I thought like the prodigal son, ”Am I better off without my Father or should I go back and appologise for everything that I have done? ”Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! Luke 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, ;this is how I felt without God. So I returned and He forgave. So I started to minister to any and all that would listen. And the more I started to look at the Church Family, I found out something very interesting. The family that I had left was nowhere to be found. Things had changed, some for the better but some for the worst. I found out that being fed with a stone was getting commonplace among church family, that I thought would be the first to help. I found it easier to receive a piece of bread from un-believers than from our families in Christ. I found that these words kept coming into my mind, every-time I asked for aid for poor churches and christians; If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? I found out, in my disappointment that asking for, bread, fish or even an egg, was harder than I realized. I found many a church more interested in building on instead of building up. I found that there was a mighty famine in that land, that many of the Family of God had wasted their substance with riotous living. Waisted part of their inhearentance with buildings and sidewalks and fountains that served no one, that feed no one, that supplied no one, in the Family of God. I found out that there were those that took advantage of the giving of some churches, I found out that this world had gotten a foot hold into many peoples lives. I found out that there were too many giving out serpents, scorpions and stones. I looked and found a mighty famine in the land for Bibles, thats correct, I said Bibles. When many were building on, many were suffering for the word of God. They were having a hard time in just obtaining a Bible, a preacher, a teacher, an evangelist, and all of this I found out was Bible Prophecy, coming to life in vivid full color. Amos, 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Why I asked myself, why are these brothers in the family so destitute for the basics of Christianity? And then one scripture came to mind from the Lord, Pro 21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. What did this mean, what was I to say? As I watched the news and read the articles, I noticed that this man was saying, Donate $1,000,000 to me for if you don’t, God said that He will take my Life. Donate to me, for we need a sidewalk to a fountain, well even put your name in wood, donate to me and I will build you a stone monument with your name on it, that will last forever. Donate to me and I will use the money to send ministers that are in trouble with the law to other countries to preach.” Donate, Donate, Donate. But not one was saying, ”Donate to me, so I can buy a bible for some brother without one, Donate to me so I can send out fliers and Bible tracts to those who don’t know Jesus, donate to me so I can send out evangelist to preach the word of God.” “Give Him a Stone, we need to build on, give him a serpent we need to spread out, give him a scorpion, no one will know the difference.” Many were and still are preaching, Matthew 25:13, Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. But then they fool people into donating for, sidewalks, fountains, buildings, libraries and monuments, just to have their name carved into history. These are the blind leading the blind, and there is coming a time that they both will fall into the ditch. These were just a few thoughts I wanted to share with you. Luke 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. Can we all just stop and remember what Jesus had to say? For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Can we just stop and quit building on and start building up. Don’t be one of those who say “Give Him A Stone!” ars

Giving jesus the first place in your live

: Giving Jesus the first place in your live. Matthew 6:33 (King James Version) 33.But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. We all want to love God more than anithing and give Him the priority in our live's but......The truth is that most of us aren't there yet. Why? maybe because we don't know that we love other things more than we love God. Love isn't something you can show or give with word's but with your acts. If we love God more than anything means that God is our priority and if God is our priority means we work harder to reach and do God's will within our live's compare to our own goals we set to reach. So if God's will is our priority we should feel the urge to fulfill God's will, the same or even a greater as the urge of paying our bills, eating, studing, working. Our priority is what we evaluate we must do first. Does this means we need to leave everything and go praying and fasting?"NO"but it means to let our choices we make during the day be guided by God."What? does it mean that we need to pray everytime we are going to make a choice?"NO"and"Yes" praying is comunicating with God, we dont need to be a special possision to pray, we kan also walk and talk with God. All this is nice to say, but can it be done?"Yes, Jesus showed us that it can be done when He lived as a man between us" Our main problem is that we don't know what God want. So our first stap is getting to know God, Jesus and the Holly Spirit and the getting to know the way they see the things of this world and what they think about them. We can get to know God by reading the Bible and talking(praying, worshiping) to Him. So by reading the bible and praying we get to know God, that means the more we read and the more we pray the faster we get to know God. So if God is our priority than reading the bible and praying is our priority . So if God's will is our urge, than geting to know His will is our urge, than reading the bible and praying is our urge. So if reading the bible and praying is our urge, than we do them the most we can. If God is our priority, everything else is less important but still important. So what must we do? What we need to do is stop trying to fit God's will in your sheme and make God's will your sheme, stop looking for time that is left to pray and read the bible;and start reading the bible and praying and do the rest in the time that is left. If we want to seek God 2 hours a day, than wehe divide the other less important but important things within the 22 hours left in our day, if the day is not long enough don't make God's time less, but something else becase God will is our priority. Who Love's God does His will, So if we love God, His will is our priority. God Bless you all in the name of Jesus. visit our site at : ourbibleverse Bible Verses

Giving to god series 1 lesson 2

These lessons are designed to be easily used for personal Bible Study or as a guide for group Bible Studies. Each of the lessons will include a set of discussion questions at the end of the lesson, which can be used either privately for introspection or in a group setting as provocative discussion builders. The very first thing that God gave to man after He had created them was dominion over the all the living creatures that moved on the earth, and he gave to man every “herb bearing seed” and every “fruit of a tree yielding seed” for food. He told man to “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth”. (Gen. 1: 28-30). Think about that for a moment. He GAVE man the command to replenish the earth, and GAVE man control over the living things, and He GAVE man the herbs and fruits and vegetables of the earth for food. Think about this: Once He had given that command, the control, and the means to do it, to the people of earth, could He have taken it back? In the next chapter in Genesis, we receive more detail about his gift and instructions: “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Gen. 2: 16-17). So why give man everything but one tree, one fruit of one tree? Could it be symbolic (to man) that everything we have belongs to God, but He has GIVEN us the use of it? So by not eating of that one tree, man shows God that he recognizes that He is in control, that He gave it to man, that only He has the ability to create anything? You see, if man could create, if man were God’s equal, then the restriction would not have been necessary. Actually, it would have simply been a power-trip, as we might say today. It would have been God simply exerting His Godship and Ultimate control over His creation (Not that there would be anything wrong there, either.) But by giving man control over everything except one thing, one tree that probably didn’t have any special characteristics the other trees didn’t have, except there was a virtual sign that said, “Don’t touch this”, the tree became symbolic of recognizing that God created and owned everything. Wasn’t Old Testament tithing much the same? Did God really need the Israelites to tithe to provide for the poor and the Levites (the priests of the day)? Of course not! He could have provided for the poor and the Levites the same way He provided for everyone else! But by requiring a tenth (or more), He simply reminded the people that everything was created by Him, given by Him, and under His authority. By tithing, the people recognized that what they had did not come from their own personal creativity and self, but rather was a gift from God. New Testament giving is much the same way. Although tithing is not a requirement today (we can give as much as we want, 20%, 30%, whatever!), we are admonished to give cheerfully: “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (Paul, writing in II Cor. 9: 6-7). When we give, we recognize that God is truly God, that he is the true giver of everything, of all life and things. We do not give to appease an angry God, we give to recognize a loving God as more bountiful than ourselves. Questions for discussion: How do you feel about giving back to the Creator of the Universe? Do you see the fall of man, and God’s provision to give us back the life we lost, in a different light now than before reading this? Do you see that when we give God back a portion of our bounty, we recognize Him as the ultimate giver and creator? Note: Scripture references are from the KJV. Giving to the poor brings the greatest blessings

The genuinely poor, what about them? Did God make provisions for them? If so, do we have a part in these provisions? Are there blessings attached that will accrue to us if we fulfill our part in what the Bible directs us to do concerning the poor? Are there Scriptures to guide us here? Yes. Look at the Scriptures below. They show the pattern for dealing with the needs of the poor. Deut 15:7-11 7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: 8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. 9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. 10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. (KJV) Helping the poor brings some of the greatest promises of blessings in the entire Bible. Notice what the Scriptures above say to us. Two outstanding promises are given us because we help the poor. (1) The LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, (2) and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. Think of it. Giving to the poor guarantees blessings in “all our works.” Giving to the poor guarantees blessings in “all we put our hands unto.” Giving to the poor makes everything we touch prosper unlike anything else we can do to trigger our blessing flow. Let us take care of the poor. Did you ever look to see how many Scriptures the Bible contains that pertain to the poor? This will make an ideal Bible study. Look up all of them you can find. Read them. Learn them. Study them all. The poor is special with our Lord. Here are some that will open our eyes. Ps 34:6 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. (KJV) Ps 40:17 17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. (KJV) Prov 14:31 31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. (KJV) Isa 3:14-15 14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. 15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. (KJV) Giving to the poor brings some of God's greatest blessings. Let us give to the poor.

    God our best friend

What is the definition of a friend? With one, we can relate. with one, we can be totally comforatble. With one, we can be ourselves. And with one, we can share our deepest emotions. All our fears, our aspirations, our problems, and our dreams. A friend is one, who can be counted for support at all the times. who is there for us, whenever we need him/her. Who will never laugh at us, but will laugh with us. How many of us have such a friend? Very few. Isn't it? But we all need friends. We want to have someone who can be relied upon. we want someone, with who we can communicate. we want someone, who is always for us. Who gives us the right guidance at all the times. And on whose advise, we can act. Don't we all need such a friend? Many of the married couples want desperately to develop such confidence and reliance on each other. But many fail. Who is left, but God? Whether, you are a spiritual person or not, you can always turn to God. You may deny God, but God does not do that. God never goes away from you, because you are one of his creations. Turn to God, whenever you need a friend. Tell him all that is bothering you. talk to him sitting alone on a sea shore or in agarrden. Talk to him, about your day when you go to sleep. And ask him for guidance, before beginning your day. Talk to him, before attempting anything. Tell him what you want to do and ask for help. He will help. He will always be there for you and with you. He will guide you at all the times. Never forget that a small seed grows into a big tree, but the early growth that occurs in the womb of the soil is never seen by us. God takes care of everything at all the times. Why would He not take our care? Make friends with God. Make Him your best friend.

God authored all scripture for our benefit

As you delve more and more into the Book of Hebrews, you will become aware of something you have never seen before: namely, the author of Hebrews is more emphatic than any other Bible writer about one major theme; God wrote all the Old Testament Scriptures. This author quoted at least thirty one Old Testament Scriptures in the book of Hebrews. Even when he knew the name of the human instrument that God used to write Scripture, this author spoke as though the Scripture was penned by God himself. For him, God wrote the Old Testament without the use of a human instrument even though He used them. As you study this fascinating book, look for the above attribute throughout. This will be such a great blessing to you. Why can’t modern teachers, pastors, academics and scholars have the same view of (and respect for) the Holy Scriptures as this special, Godly author of Hebrews? Here is just a sampling of the Old Testament Scriptures the author quoted in the Book of Hebrews. In each and every case, our author of Hebrews declared that God wrote each Scripture, even though they had human penmen. See below how he demonstrates that God wrote them. Heb 1:5 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (KJV) Two Old Testament Scriptures are quoted here, Ps. 2: 7 and 2 Samuel 7: 14. David wrote the Psalm; Samuel wrote the one that bears his name. But notice how our author demonstrated that God himself wrote these two Old Testament Scriptures for us; look at the expression, “said he.” In other words, the Hebrews author always quoted the Old Testament in such a way as to leave no doubt: God wrote the Old Testament. Above, he used the expression, “he said” for “God said.” Notice, however, that he never remotely implied that either David or Samuel said anything in this verse. For this author, God wrote the Old Testament. Now, look at the next verse, Hebrews 1: 6. We shall see the same thing. Heb 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (KJV) This verse is a quote from Dt. 32: 34. Notice here also the expression, “he saith.” Again, the author never implied that Moses wrote the above Scripture. By using “he saith” as he did above, he again shows his belief that God wrote it. For him, God authored all Old Testament Scripture. Heb 1:7 7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. (KJV) The above verse quotes Psalms 104: 4. But notice! He used “he saith” again. To this author, God authored this Psalm also. Why cannot modern writers, preachers and theologians have the same confidence that God was the author of Scripture? Now see the next two Old Testament Scriptures quoted below. Heb 1:8 8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (KJV) Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? (KJV) Notice “he saith” in verse 8 above and “said he” in verse 13 above. For this author, God authored the Old Testament. What a thrill to see the pattern for modern scholarship so clearly given. Hebrews is the most unusual New Testament book. Following the lead from the author of Hebrews, Scripture was and still stands written by God himself. As such, you can believe and depend on what it says. Furthermore, when you are troubled about what a particular Scripture means, ask yourself, “What does this Scripture say?” You will, then, have the answer to what it means. Finally, Paul summed it up for us. He said “God breathed” all Scripture to profit us in at least six areas. Find them for your own benefit in the verses below. 2 Tim 3:16-17 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV) God wrote it with His own breath even though He used human instruments. Therefore, you can trust it. You can stand on it. You can step out on it. He said what He meant to say in it. What does a Scripture mean? It means whatever that Scripture says.

God doesn t care about creation science

How could such a statement be true? How could the creator of all things not really care about His creation? As a blanket, catch-all statement, it is only partially true. God cares that you recognize Him as the creator. What I’m referring to is the “how” of creation. As Christians, we all have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides us, convicting us of sin. If our thoughts about the length of creation are not correct, then why hasn't the Holy Spirit convicted us of this sin? Why is it, when I pray for wisdom to understand young earth arguments, God grants me that wisdom? Of course, the flip side of this is equally puzzling. If the length of days of creation are not 24-hours, when why doesn’t the Holy Spirit convict the young earth believers that they are wrong? Could it be that this is not a matter of sin? Could it be that what we think about the "how" of creation is not important to God? It would appear to be the case. God lets us argue these points back and forth, without convicting either side, through the Holy Spirit, that we are wrong. What is important is that we both have Jesus Christ. That really is the only important point from God's perspective. The words of Leroy Eims, former president of the Navigators, sums it up best. He said; Can you imagine everything Jesus could have talked to people about? After all, He was the eternal Son of God who knew everything about everything. He could have explained all the scientific wonders of the universe or warned against the various manmade philosophies that would arise over the years--how each of them would lead down a blind alley and leave the followers of those teachings confused and frustrated. But Jesus didn't deal with any of those things. Instead, He focused on what people need most--the good news of salvation. Why? Because unless people hear and respond to the gospel, they are lost and going to a Christless grave (Footnote 1). I think he is right on target. If it did matter what we thought about creation, God's Spirit would convict us, and steer us to the truth. The only thing that really matters is whether we have Jesus. All too often, young earth creationists compare old earth creationism to sin, and claim that our path is incorrect, and amounts to cooperation with the devil. Such a claim can be seen in the young earth book, After Eden, by Henry Morris III. On page 174-175, he makes a distinction (one of many throughout the book) that young earth creationists represent "truth," "light," and "wisdom," with the implication that all others are evil deceivers (2 Cor. 11:13-15). Such slanderous words have no basis in fact, and they are not what one would expect from a professing Christian. None of the verses employed by Mr. Morris in this section have anything to do with creation. As a Progressive Creationist, I fully believe in the inerrant, infallible Word of God, and a literal interpretation of Genesis. Yes, some old earth proponents do not believe in inerrancy, and they need a warning, but Morris makes no distinction. If God does not care which form of creation you believe in, then Morris claims are empty rhetoric. There is no need for young earth creationists to resort to such tactics. Jesus is what matters...not the "how" of creation. We should busy ourselves in proclaiming Christ...not condemning fellow believers. God exists brighter than the sunshine

God’s existence had created enormous arguments among philosophers, scientists and other thinkers or believers. Some of these arguments questioned the necessity of having a god. So do we really need a god? First, we should tackle what is god and who is god or gods. There are many different definitions of a god or gods as there were many different religions and beliefs that existed in our world since the ancient time until the present. But obviously, the common characteristics of a god are his mighty powers and his supreme ability to create. Christians, Muslims, Hindus and other religions believe in a god or gods who created the universe, the heaven and the earth. God is described as the mighty creator who is perfectly benevolent and just. Although religions specifically had different gods, we will discuss the typical god with his power, kindness, justice and creativity. Therefore all religions and believers of god should unify sometime for this article for a god is so necessary for religions to exist. As contrary to this, atheists and materialists don’t believe in the existence of god, so as the necessity of having a god. The necessity of having a god who truly exists has something to do with men’s faith. Faith is the belief on things which we don’t see. It is the strong trust and confidence that people give to their gods and religions. Faith also parallels trustworthy and power. A perfect being like god who is also perfectly trustworthy and powerful deserves perfect faith from men. Faith saves lives and souls. Faith heals illness, overcomes fears and contributes success. Without a god who is perfect, faith would be weak. Without god who is our divine creator, there would be no heaven and earth. So, why a god becomes unnecessary? In fact, god is the most necessary being that exists. Now, if god really exists and indeed he is the truth who created heaven and earth; then he is really the most significant being in the existence. God is universal and proving his existence means exhibiting a universal proof. So was it really evolution or divine creation which brings everything in place? Was it the Big Bang or again god’s creation which cause the universe? Did we really come from ape or from Adam and Eve? These are some of the popular arguments which are related to the question on the existence of god. If the theory of evolution is true then why are humans evolved extraordinarily far from other species besides the fact that humans are even considered the newest and the latest species that existed in this planet? The reason would be that we humans are created specially by an intelligent creator. Men were the last species yet the highest and most rational species created by god. The Homo erectus and the Homo sapiens did not become humans but became extinct. God created humans distinctively and distinguishable from animals by giving them the wisdom they would need to fulfill his will. The universe did not come from the Big Bang and definitely it is not infinite as many scientists believe. Everything that can be seen is temporary but everything that cannot be seen is eternal. The universe is temporary and what are eternal are the unseen things, which are the spirits. The universe was created by god to expand the humans and the earth. We did not come from monkeys but we from god. So why be confused if what really came first, the chicken or the egg? Of course it is the chicken reasonably because God created the chicken first than the eggs. God is true and he exists deeply, highly and clearly. If you look at everything around us, then you will realize that everything was designed intelligently. We exist not by accidents but by reasons. We are created with a very high logic that no humans possessed. If you look at yourself on a mirror then you will find that your eyes, nose, mouth, ears and even your hair are in place. Your hairs are placed on the top of your head to protect it from the heat of the sun above and from the falling rain. God created everything not only with a great intelligence but also with great love and tender care. He made us soft buttocks so we can sit comfortably. He also gave us tears to cool our eyes when we feel so much sadness. Why would we forcefully pursue that physics will answer the existence of everything if there is metaphysics which is philosophically higher and deeper than physics? It is now the time for us to move to the higher science which is the science of god and leave the science of men which is full of unproved theories. Let us focus on the spiritual things which are true and forever.

God has pleasure when christians prosper

God did not create us and then leave us to ourselves. He is very much interested in what happens to his children, the Abrahamic Seed Group. His interest in us caused Him to promise us healing, prosperity, family well being and salvation in the covenant He made with Abraham. (Gentile Christians are grafted into these Abrahamic blessing promises right along with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Israel.) Powerful Scriptures below demonstrate His interest in our prosperity. First, God teaches us, the individual members of The Abrahamic Seed Group, to profit. We do not have to learn this by ourselves. God teaches us to profit in accordance with his promise to Abraham to prosper the Seed Group. Isa 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. (KJV) Second, God actually has pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. I used to think that prosperity was wrong. If it is wrong, why does God have pleasure when I am prosperous and why does he actually teach us how to develop wealth. Ps 35:27 27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (KJV) Third, God does not reject the prayers of the destitute and poor. No refusal to answer their prayer causes their lack of prosperity. Ps 102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. (KJV) In the above scripture, the word, despise means to reject. In other words, God will not reject the prayers of the destitute. In addition, He will absolutely regard them! Think of it! God hears the prayers of the destitute and needy. Even Job saw these things. He saw that God will not turn his back on the needy. He will not cast them aside. He will hear their prayer and do something about their problems. In the face of great adversity, Job saw these things. Job 36:15 15 He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression. (KJV) Job 36:11 11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. (KJV) Even Job saw that they shall be delivered. He saw that if they also obey Him, they shall have much prosperity and pleasure. God’s will is to prosper you. Even Job knew this! Then what is our Prosperity Trigger? What is our Prosperity Activator? Sowing and reaping is our Trigger-Activator for personal prosperity. This is the only way God has ordained for us to become wealthy. We must learn and obey the Bible principle of giving. Giving, according to the Bible, is the equivalent of a farmer sowing various seeds. What you plant is what comes up in your harvest. Farmers plant corn, cotton and tomato seeds. These same individual things, corn, cotton and tomatoes, come up for them in the time of their harvest. Prov 11:24-26 24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. 25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. 26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it. (KJV) To secure a financial harvest, Abraham planted financial wealth. He planted it by tithing. He planted it by making various offerings. The point is this; Abraham planted or sowed seed from which he needed to glean a harvest of the same kind. He planted corn or financial seed. He reaped a harvest of corn or financial prosperity. Do what Abraham did, dear Christian, and you will amass Abrahamic wealth just like Abraham. Plant financial seeds daily so your harvest will have no off days. Plant your seed. God has pleasure when Christians proper.

God is stronger than your fears and anxieties

At times, our fears and anxieties may seem too powerful to overcome, however there is one person who is stronger than your fears and that is the power of God. God can be a powerful ally in overcoming our fears, however a person must know where to begin. The key is to talk to God about your problem and then use him as your main foundation in overcoming your fears. A person can go to church or to a quiet place during the day to tell God that they are having a problem. They should tell God how they feel and ask God for some of his help. Each and every day, a person should make it up a habit to talk to God and ask for his help. Rely on God on a regular basis. Believe that he will help you overcome your fears. A person can read the Bible, go to church, or join a small church group where members pray for one another. Get in the habit of including God in your life. As you do these things, it will be easier to trust in Him with your problems. When using the help of God to manage your fears, a person needs to be aware of how God is working in their life. Most of the time God works in mysterious ways and the answers he provides might not be that obvious. A person must be aware of God being in their life even when they are dealing with their fears and anxieties. Continue to seek help in managing your fears. Talking to a minister, priest or counselor can give you additional advice and insights on how to deal with your current problem. Remember that there is nothing wrong in asking for help and assistance. Finally, the most important thing is to continue praying and talking to God. Talk to God as if you were talking to a friend. Read the Bible and pray hard. Be persistent and be open in the avenues that God may provide to you in solving your problem. It is not always easy, however God is in control and he will help you if you ask him.

    God s broken promise

One of the common claims by young earth creationists is that if Noah's Flood were a local flood, then God has broken his promise many times. According to The Answers Book, chapter 10, "If the Flood were local, God would have repeatedly broken His promise never to send such a Flood again. There have been huge 'local' floods in recent times: in Bangladesh, for example, where 80% of that country has been inundated, or Europe in 2002."(Footnote 1) Is there any truth to this claim? Do the local floods we see today constitute a breaking of the covenant God made with Noah? First, let's read the covenant in Genesis 9:8-15. 8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, 9 "Now behold, I Myself do establish My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, even every beast of the earth. 11 And I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be shut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; 13 I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 And it shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud, 15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh." To answer this question, one must look at exactly what the covenant says. First, who is the covenant with? This is contained in verses 9-10. Clearly, it was made with Noah and his sons, and their descendents. It was also made with every living creature that is with Noah. At the end of verse 10, God extends it to "even every beast of the earth." There is no question who the covenant is with, however it is interesting that God makes a distinction between the living creatures with Noah (with every living creature that is with you), and the rest of the creatures (even every beast of the earth). Why would God make this distinction? If all the animals were killed, and Noah had all the survivors on the ark, then it was useless to extend the covenant beyond the ark's inhabitants. This indicates that the flood was local, and there were animal populations outside of the inhabitants of the ark. If every living thing were on the ark, the term "even every beast of the earth" gives no additional meaning to the text. But what is the exact covenant? This is in verses 11 and 15. 11 "And I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be shut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” 15 "and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh." The key term to examine is "all flesh." What is the meaning of this term? This is tied to the beginning of the ark story, where God stated the purpose of the Flood. Morris and Whitcomb in their book, The Genesis Flood, (Footnote 2) say the purpose of the flood was to destroy both man, beast, creeping things, and birds. The key is in Genesis 6:12: And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. (KJV) The purpose of the flood was to wipe out this corruption. The main meaning for the Hebrew word for flesh in the Flood chapters, bвsвr, is person or man. The Hebrew dictionary doesn't even make it possible to extend this to animal flesh. God is not talking about the corruption of the animal kingdom, but about man’s corruption. This is corrected in some other translations (NIV=“people”; Amplified=“humanity”). The purpose of the flood was to wipe out man, not animals. Yes, animals in the flooded locations would be killed, but they are not the target of God. The main point of the covenant is that man shall never again be wiped from the face of the earth. Local floods since the time of Noah have never wiped man from the face of the earth. Yes, many have been killed, but never to the scale of Noah's Flood, where only eight people were left alive. When local floods occur today, they come nowhere close to wiping out humanity. The Answers Book lists the Bangladesh floods, where thousands have died. Yet there are billions of people still on planet earth after those floods. Clearly this does not compare with Noah's Flood, where more than 99 percent of mankind was wiped out. Even the Tsunami of 2004, which killed hundreds of thousands, cannot compare to Noah's Flood. In local floods today, less than 1/100th of one percent of the worlds populations are killed. In Noah's flood, almost 100 percent of mankind was killed. There is no comparison. God extends his covenant to the creatures of the earth as well, saying that they would also be spared from floods of the magnitude of Noah's Flood. Yes, animals are killed when local floods occur, but they do not come close to the magnitude of Noah's Flood, where an entire species was almost wiped out (humankind, except for Noah's family). The only other term to consider is "neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” We cannot know the extent of Noah's Flood geographically...we can only assume that it covered all the lands inhabited by humans at the time. Although local floods do harm the earth, it is a safe assumption that the extent of Noah's Flood has not been repeated. It may also be important to note that the Hebrew word for earth, 'erets, also means land in general, such as a field, or nations, or even "ground". Conclusion Clearly, God has not flooded the earth in the same way he did during Noah's time, with the same impact. God has not broken His promise. Mankind has never been wiped from the face of the earth again. This claim made by young earth creationists has no basis in fact. 1 Was the Flood global?, The Answers Book (web version), answersingenesis. org/Home/Area/AnswersBook/global10.asp 2 Henry Morris, John Whitcomb, The Genesis Flood. God s eight healing delivery vehicles

You can be healed and there are "Eight Healing Delivery Vehicles" God will use to do it for you. One of these ways requires no faith on the part of the one being healed. This is healing by the anointing. The other seven requires one of more acts of faith on the part of the one being healed and/or the one ministering the healing. Of these two, faith is by far the most dependable. Oral Roberts said that you can not always depend upon the anointing to heal you, but you can depend upon faith. T. L. Osborn said that you can not always depend upon the anointing to heal you, but you can depend upon faith. The anointing is wonderful when God works it but He works it in a sovereign way. In other words, you have no control nor power over it. God heals with it when He chooses and does not heal with it when He does not choose to heal this way. When the anointing is operating, faith may not be required at all on the part of the one being healed. Faith, on the other hand, will always come through for you. Both the famous men of God mentioned above are mighty men of faith. They know first hand what they are talking about. They have seen God miraculously heal with His anointing in their meetings. They have also seen God miraculously heal in response to faith in their meetings. As we said previously, of the eight ways God heals his children, only one of them doesn’t necessarily require faith: healing by the anointing. All the other seven require faith. In many, many great healing meetings held around the world today, those who are not healed can still be healed by faith when the anointing passed them by. Remember this: in most of these meetings, the anointing will pass by a great many of those needing healing, leaving them still not healed. They still can be healed! Yes! They can still be healed! Healing Delivery Vehicle #1 God delivers your healing through his anointing (Acts 19: 11-12) and the gifts of healing (1 Corinthians 12: 8-11). Healing Delivery Vehicle #2 God delivers your healing through the laying on of hands. Mark 16:18 Healing Delivery Vehicle #3 God delivers your healing with his anointing oil combined with the prayer of faith. Mark 6:13 Healing Delivery Vehicle #4 God delivers your Healing by your believing and then speaking his Word. Mark 11:23 Healing Delivery Vehicle #5 God delivers your Healing through the agreement on earth by two or more people. Matt 18:19-20 Healing Delivery Vehicle #6 God delivers your Healing by your believing that you receive it when you pray. Mark 11:24 Healing Delivery Vehicle #7 God delivers your healing through the LORD's Supper when you understand it and receive it by faith. 1 Cor 11:26-30 Healing Delivery Vehicle #8 God delivers your healing through using Jesus' Name like a battering ram and a sledge hammer. John 14:13-14 These Eight Healing Delivery Vehicles God left us in His Word to help his children get their healing can be worked by anyone. Thank God you do not have to be a theologian. You do not have to be an elder. You do not have to be a pastor. You do not have to be a deacon. These Eight Delivery Vehicles work! Just make up your mind to work them and then do it. Supernatural things will happen for you.

    God s happiness principle

Happiness is the state of feeling content. Are you happy? Can you honestly say that you’re content at all times? Or, could it be that you are an emotional roller coaster: happy when things go according to your way; and sad, frustrated or mad when they’re not? You only need to do a Google search to realize how many people are clamoring for true happiness. There are multitudes of tomes, courses and mental techniques about how to obtain true happiness. What comes to mind when someone asks you if you’re happy? Peace, a perfectly compatible mate, surrounded by like-minded people in a perfectly peaceful world? Maybe it’s the wish you could master all your emotions to the point where you can “tune out” all the chaos in the world around you and be in total control of your inner peace and happiness no matter what your circumstances? You have a God-given mind to reason with, learn a trade, and understand the world around you. Then there are the “sages” and “experts” who have tried, tested and shared the “truths.” Yet, the wisdom of man is finite. Only God’s Wisdom is infinite! He tells you that His thoughts are not like your thoughts, neither are your ways His ways. (Isa. 55:8) He says that “you shall go out with joy and be let forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” (Isa. 55:12-13) Now that’s only one of His many promises of happiness. It’s so much more than a definition or direction. It’s His assurance that, even if you started out in life as a “thorn,” in His strength and with His grace you will grow up as a tall fir tree. In the previous chapter He says that the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but His kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of His peace be removed. But He does not stop there. You will also be established in righteousness. As well, you will be far from oppression as you shall not fear, and from terror; for it shall not come near you! Chapter 24 ends with “No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord.” Therefore, if God be for you, who can be against you? He is the One who fights your battles for you, protects you, provides for you and heals you. He tells you specifically that you shall not fear. That’s more than a promise; it’s an absolute fact! He did not say “you will be,” as some time in the future you might get there. No! “shall” is a statement of fact; a done deal! Why? Because the closer you stick with Him and obey His commandments, the greater your faith shall grow and fear, being the opposite of faith, will no longer have any hold over you! Now if that’s not perfect happiness, then I don’t know what is! There will always be trials and temptations, regardless of how many mind gymnastics you do or how many “how-to” books you read. But... if you dwell in the secret place of the most High, you shall abide (there’s that word “shall” again!) under the shadow of the Almighty. You shall call upon Him, and He will answer you: He will be with you in trouble; He will deliver you, and honor you. With long life will He satisfy you, and show you His salvation. (Ps. 91: 1,2,15,16) Bless you and be perfectly happy in the assurance that you have a heavenly Father who cares for you in every aspect of your life!

    God s will

: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4) On the sixth day of creation God created human beings in His own image. God let human beings have dominion over all of His creations. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (cf. Genesis 1:26-27). God created the Garden of Eden for human beings. God talked to them directly. But in current condition human beings are not the same anymore because since they sinned, they didn't have His own image anymore. They lost fellowship with God. After they sinned, in His love God promised them to send a Savior, Jesus Christ. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons (cf. Galatians 4:4-5; John 3:16). Jesus prays for all believers "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world...." (John 17:24). If Jesus finishes His work of salvation, if we are in God forever, then we are back in His own image. We shall be like Him as apostle John wrote "Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2). "And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever" (1 John 2:17). (by MES - Jesus-theSavior)
