Jesus christ. the first the last the eternal

Jesus Christ. The First , The Last, The Eternal. Luke 17:20-17:24 (NIV, NIRV, TNIV, KJV) Jesus Christ. The First , The Last, The Eternal. Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. There are many times in our lives where we ask ourselves the question;”What is my purpose in Life?” And there are some who make a living, telling others exactly what it is. Many write books covering the subject and others make movies and presentations, but none really address the answer very clearly. Haven you seen time after time children killing themselves because they say that there is no purpose in their lives? The demands of this life time and especially of this upcoming generation is weighing down many a persons spirit, cutting them to the bone, not leaving them any recourse but to go with the flow, being swept away with peer pressure and company abuse. So what is the answer, is it in a book, a movie, a presentation or a single mans idea of life? No, The answer is in Jesus. Lets read a little Scripture and look at the Son of Man. Luke 17:20-24, And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. Counselors, psychriacrist and others say they know what people need, but they never mention Jesus. Jesus, The Son of Man, Son of God, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Word, The Prince of Peace, The Lord of The Sabbath, The Christ, The Seeker of the Lost, The Avenger, The Rewarder, The First, The Last, The Eternal, The Faithful Witness, The First Begotten of the Dead, The prince of the Kings of the Earth, The Bright and Shining Star, The Alpha, The Omega, The First, The Last, The Morning Star, The Holder of The Key of David, and the Amen. Man writing book after book explaining what our purpose is in this life, giving us, theology, terminology, making trees, animals and even man gods to pray to and seek healing from. False hope, false doctrine, Idol worship and man science. Trying to explain our origin from science, evolution and revolution, new wave religions that can neither hear nor answer prayer. Mankind building up man as a demigod, searching our purpose from the stars and from the Big Bang Theory. Mat 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Matthew 11:27 is a perfect place to start finding your purpose on this earth. You must be known of The Father, you must be recognized by the All Mighty, without Him there is no purpose in your life, except to die and be judged. Is your purpose in life to posses? James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Jer 17:11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool. Luke 12:19-20 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? The Bible says no. [Ref. Jam_1:6, Jam_1:7; Job_27:8-10, Job_35:12; Psa_18:41, Psa_66:18, Psa_66:19; Pro_1:28, Pro_15:8; Pro_21:13, Pro_21:27; Isa_1:15, Isa_1:16; Jer_11:11, Jer_11:14, Jer_14:12; Mic_3:4; Zec_7:13;] Is our purpose in life to recieve Glory from our name and position in life? John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 1Co 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 2Co 12:6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. Phi 3:18-19 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Well the Bible says no, mans glory is fadeing and foolish to try to achieve. Is our purpose in life to gain riches? Jesus said; “Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!” “the deceitfulness of riches” Luke 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; James 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Rev 18:15-17 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, Well again the Bible says no. So then you ask, “What is our purpose in life and who is this Son of Man, Jesus Christ?” The answer is simple; Romans12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Our purpose in Life is to be a living sacrifice to God, to seek His Glory, His Wisdom, His Knowledge, His Acceptance as Children of The Almighty. Our purpose in Life is to Serve as our Saviour Served. Then can we also say that our purpose in life is not to be subject to ordinances? Col 2:20-23 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. Can we also say then, that this Son of Man is a liveing word from God that is a guide to rightiousness, to Glory, to Honor, to Life, not as we know it but a life eternial in Spirit and not in the flesh? A regenerative Spirit that leads us to God? Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Mat 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Jesus christ self denial or self esteem

If one didn’t look at the title of Dr. Tyler’s book, “Jesus Christ: Self-Denial or Self-Esteem,” they might think they were reading a book about the life of Christ instead of a refutation of the self-esteem movement. Dr. Tyler takes a different approach that’s characteristic of some of the other books on critiquing self-esteem. He doesn’t exclusively argue that the self-esteem position is defective from a humanistic psychological approach as Paul Vitz does. Nor does he attempt to contrast each heretical thought and compare it to an exhaustive look at scripture references. Instead, he compares the notion of selfism to the life and practices of Jesus Christ. By so doing, he demonstrates that self-esteem flies directly in the face of what Christ was teaching others, especially His very own disciples. In the introduction, Dr. Tyler makes the case that the new pop culture words, self-image, self-esteem and self-worth have one central focus: self. This being a recent phenomena (within the past 25 years), it has had a significant influence on the church and its teachings. He quotes Robert Schuller who says that a new reformation is needed and that being one centering on self-esteem. (It’s ironic that Schuller uses the word reformation. “The Reformation,” nearly 500 years ago, affirmed the utter ruin and insufficiency of man’s condition and reinforced the complete sufficiency of scripture, grace, faith and Christ—a complete and utter opposition of what Schuller wants.) Dr. Tyler seeks to declare that the Bible’s emphasis is on self-denial, a concept that is apparently anathema to modern day authors. And where are, Dr. Tyler asks, the words of Jesus when he supposedly tells his followers to “love themselves, esteem themselves, accept themselves, believe in themselves, develop a healthy self-image, or nurture feelings of significance and worth?” Dr. Tyler looks for them in the next three chapters of his book as he explores the words, works, and parables of Christ. Dr. Tyler explores Christ’s encounter with various people. Jesus was always other-oriented in that He was continually about His father’s business. His baptism, the cleansing of the temple and the meeting with the Samaritan women are just a few examples that Dr. Tyler cites as proof. The most striking evidence appears in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount where Jesus tells the crowd how to obtain blessedness (happiness). One would expect to find here Christ giving exhortation on seeking self-affirmation if the self-esteem zealots were true. However, Dr. Tyler cites five Beatitudes that Christ preached which further disappoints the selfism crowd. Christ proclaimed blessedness would occur to those who are poor in spirit, mourn, practice meekness, are hungry and thirsty for righteousness, and are merciful. Leaving Christ’s words, Dr. Tyler explores the miracles of Jesus Christ. Jesus used miracles as proof of His divine authority, to give substance to His words, and also to demonstrate his other-oriented attitude by offering love and sympathy for mankind. Dr. Tyler gives several examples, healing of the leper and the Roman centurion’s servant, the calming for the Sea of Galilee, the demon-possessed man, to name a few. This shows Christ was focused on meeting the needs of others. Dr. Tyler also leaves the self-love advocates with a question as to where was the person who cried “I hate myself, I feel inferior and inadequate; heal me Son of David;” (not in Galilee apparently). Dr. Tyler uses the parables to further prove that Christ was other-oriented. He gives a brief explanation on the purpose of parables. He explains the dilemma that many find as to why Christ spoke in parables, i. e., Christ intentionally hid from the disobedient and rebellious His mysteries. Dr. Tyler’s quotation from G. Campbell Morgan seems out of step however as Campbell’s quote muddies the water. It appears inconsistent with Matthew 13:15b. “lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” Dr. Tyler closes his book by acknowledging that undeniably self-esteemism is found in the scriptures. It’s origin is in Genesis 3:6, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” This was the beginning of mankind becoming self-oriented. It’s clear to the reader that support for current selfism philosophy cannot be gleaned from the teachings or the life of Christ. Christ was certainly focused on doing His Father’s business as well as relieving the suffering of others.

Jesus died for our sicknessess also

Look closely at the words “griefs” and “sorrows” in Isaiah’s prophecy below. Scholarship demands that both these words should have been rendered by our English words “sicknesses” and “pains.” Isa 53:4 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (KJV) In this Scripture, Isaiah declared to us that Jesus died for our sickness and pain as well as our sins. Many, many translations of the Bible say that Jesus died for our “sicknesses” and “pains” as well as for our sins. "The Bible: An American Translation" (J. M. Powis Smith and Edgar J. Goodspeed) used the words “pains and sorrows” to translate this Isaiah healing Scripture. "The Holy Scriptures According To The Masoretic Text: A New Translation" (The Jewish Publication Society) used the words “diseases and pains” to translate it. "The Emphasized Bible: A New Translation" (J. B. Rotherham) used the words “sicknesses and pains.” "The New American Bible" used the words “infirmities and sufferings.” "The New English Bible" used the words “sufferings and torments.” In addition to the above, Young, the great Hebrew scholar, used the words “sicknesses and pains.” Another Hebrew scholar, Leeser, used the words “diseases and pains” to translate it. The above is only the tip of the iceberg. The deeper you look into Scripture, the more evidence you find that Jesus’ death covered our sicknesses as well as our sins. The Bible Versions cited above do not tiptoe around the edges. They give the heart and soul of what Isaiah actually said. Jesus died for our sicknesses as well as for our sins. Next we see Matthew’s view of Isaiah 53. Matt 8:16-17 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. (KJV) Matthew translated this Isaiah healing Scripture with the words “infirmities and “sicknesses.” MacClaren, the Godly commentator, agrees with Matthew’s interpretation of Isaiah. He also used the words “sicknesses” and “diseases.” Delitzsch, the great Hebrew scholar, continues the argument. He used the words “sicknesses” and “pains” to translate this Isaiah passage. What Jesus bore for us, we do not have to bear for ourselves. Jesus bore our sins so we would not have to bear them. He bore our sicknesses and pains so we do not have to bear them either. What a wonderful savior. We Gentile Christians can be healed by faith because we have been grafted into this Isaiah healing passage right along with the physical descendents of Abraham. In his death, Jesus bore our sicknesses too.

    Jewish new year dinner ideas

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year, which is celebrated for two days in either the month of September or the month of October, depending on the year. They are the first two days found on the Jewish calendar. When Jews celebrate Rosh Hashanah, it can be both a joyful time and a solemn time. When Jewish persons go to synagogue during this time, they are often praying for forgiveness for their sins of the past year. This theme is stressed greatly just 10 days later, on Yom Kippur. Dinners during Rosh Hashanah are almost always joyful. The foods offered focus on the sweet, in hopes that those consuming the food will have a sweet New Year. Fruits, sweet vegetables and honey abound in Jewish dishes for Rosh Hashanah. Even their main dishes on these days contain many of these items. Many believe that these menu items were created for the kids who are celebrating. Happiness = Honey Custom on Rosh Hashanah sprinkles honey into the mix liberally. You can find many traditional recipes with honey, like honey cakes. However, honey is also used during the main courses of the meal. Honey can often be found as a dip during this celebration, with items like apples and challah being dipped to start off the meal. Honey holds a deep meaning to Jews, as in the bible Israel is described as the “Land of Milk and Honey”. This, of course, meant it was a prosperous land. Honey symbolizes the good life, even today. Wealth = Carrots You will find carrots in the meals served for Rosh Hashanah since they represent prosperity. If you look at a bowl of carrot slices, they resemble a bowl full of gold coins. Recipes exist that use carrots as a garnish, as a main entrйe and as a side dish for the Rosh Hashanah meal. Other vegetables you will often seen used are the sweet potato and summer squash. Again, this is due to their sweet taste. Many times these vegetables are sweetened even more with a honey glaze. Sweet Future = Fruits Apples dipped in honey are a common tradition during the Rosh Hashanah feasts. However, other fruits are often served during the meal. Fruit can appear anywhere, even in the main dish. Many fruits are served cooked, and fruits like prunes can even be cooked into a stew!

Judge not what goes around comes around

I am sure you have heard that saying many times before, but are you aware that it is a scriptural principal. Yep, Luke 6:378 says, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged : Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Give, and it shall be given unto: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Many people refer to this verse when speaking about giving love gifts. The principal is the same, if we give to God, it will come back to us but not only what we give, but in surplus….good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over. If this principal is true with our giving, we should take heed because it also refers to how we treat other people. The Bible clearly states that if we judge, we will be judged, if we condemn, we will be condemned. Many proclaiming Christians have a big problem with this very issue. Many can not help themselves from condemning and judging others in the church. They do not realize that this is just a puffed up sense of pride which empowers them. They feel righteously justified in what they say….The problem is, that just because we can feel justified in what we say that doesn't mean what we say is truly justifiable in God's eyes. Many do not realize that they are in sin by judging. They forget that God clearly states in his Word that we are NOT TO JUDGE. As humans there is so much of the flesh and our own desires that still rule our lives. Oh yes, we may have been in the church for years and finally gotten our act together , so we think….but years later we look back and say, Wow, I remember saying such and such, how wrong I was, but at the time I thought I was right. This teaches us that we should not go about spurting out judgments against others just because we feel somehow we know better. Yes you may be a stronger Christian than brother X but he probably has some strong points too, but you don' t know about them because you can't see what is going on with brother or sister X…Only God can see into the heart of man, Only God can judge with right judgment. God's word tells us DO NOT JUDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why aren't we smart enough to listen to God.!!! How can you actually Judge someone else and tell them they are in sin, when you yourself are in sin, by judging them!!!! Sadly, many people don't see it. They see the mote in their brothers eye but think they are seeing clearly not realizing there is a BEAM in their own eye. Yes Judging others brings judgment back unto you. And it is God who judges. This is not a good position to be in my brother and sister. The Number 1 Excuse why people want to judge: But how will they learn to live righteously if I don' t show them their fault! God clearly states that he will judge the living and the dead. He also states that His SPIRIT will lead us unto a life of perfection. GOD DOESN'T NEED YOUR HELP! Paul states in Romans 14: (Bold and underline emphasis is mine and not part of the original text) 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Romans 15: 1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. This clearly teaches us that we are to accept each other and to love one another, just as Christ receives us. Causing strife amongst the members is not what God wants from us. IT IS SIN! We are no better than the person to whom we are trying to condemn! But how are we supposed to tell others they are wrong! Good question. I'm glad you asked ;-) The answer to the big question is simple. You don't tell them. Pretty simple and straightforward I know, but it is the right way. Do you ignore the situation? NO, Never! God Forbid! What you do is you pray for the person instead of judging him or her. Pray that their eyes may be enlightened and that they may know the fullness of God in their lives. Pray that God help them see the error of their ways, that the Holy Spirit enlighten their minds to see that they are in the wrong way. Don't play GOD! He doesn't need your help. He can work things out fine without you. In conclusion, remember not to Judge your fellow Christians, no matter how immature they may seem. God is working on them and believe it or not, He will work things out. JUDGE NOT, and ye shall not be judged: Condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive and ye shall be forgiven. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love conquers All. So next time you feel the urge to Judge, remember that it is not from God. Judge Not…Pray instead.

Karmanetics an experiment to discover the possibility to attract good and bad luck

I’ve been a devoted Christian (Methodist) all my life until I discovered the bullshit in my bible. After finding so much racism, machismo, chauvinism, slavery, rape, torture, violence etc in most other bibles too, I came to the conclusion that I was hypnotized. First by my parents, then in school, then by the minister of the church, then by the TV and press, by my neighbors and my government. Hypnotized into having faith in a religion which I did not choose.(If I was born in Iran I’m sure I would be a Muslim, or if I was born in Tibet, or India of course I would not have been a Christian.) I am certainly not an atheist because I do believe in God or a god or a universal force, but religions are all bullshit to me now. I came across a site called KARMANETICS where they talk about luck and dreams. First I thought it was just another crappy new-age or witchy pagan club or even a sect, but not so. It’s such a short simple theory that I decided to try it out for a month. Basically karmanetics is based on the principles of karma but with the power to manipulate and control it (unlike Buddhists and Hindus) Karmanetics thought up an experiment (15 years investigation) to find the answer to producing good-luck. Then the experiment was put into real practice with real people to discover a resulting formula for attracting good or bad luck. (L= a x (p+d)… luck = actions times passion plus desire). In a nutshell, I tried it and it feels like I’ve been born again into a lucky person. The world is fantastic. Life is such a pleasure when you know how to play. I feel so powerful knowing that I can achieve anything I want. Miracles do not exist but you can still get anything you want with the butterfly effect.

Katrina rita earthquakes and tsunamis mother nature or father god

Question: In a world that is so politically charged and uncertain can we trust that an entire kingdom, yet to rise, could be revealed to us by the use of a symbol, especially that of a beast? Answer: When John depicts both the antichrist and his kingdom with the symbol of a beast, Revelation l7:1f, he is showing us some futuristic series of events that some say is too much to entrust to the uncertainty of a vision, much less a symbol within a vision. This argument is instantly neutralized when we realize that many years before John’s vision the prophets had similar visions that are now fully completed, and are now a part of the historical record. For example Daniel saw the rise and fall of four separate kingdoms in two visions that he had himself or interpreted for the ruler in his time. Daniel saw the rise and fall of the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek and Roman empires. One vision was of a man and the other of various beasts, Daniel 2:lf and 7:lf These visions are now part of the past and serve only to prove that God does use such images, they are always accurate and it is time to get onboard if you are going to take God seriously. Question: Are natural disasters the evidence that the end is at hand? Answer: Actually the increase of natural disasters is not the evidence that it is the end. They are the evidence that the end is about to begin. They are those things that signal the approach of the coming troubles and the return of Christ. Jesus put it this way…And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, And earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Mt 24: 6-8 Such events then are the precursors to the great tribulation they are not the tribulation in all its fullness, and it’s scripturally provided order. You can almost hear the phrase…Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, guess what happened. Question: Are natural disasters, wars, nuclear incidents, and terrorism Gods judgments? Answer: They may be his judgments for our ongoing sinfulness but they are not the judgments spoken of in Revelation. The events that follow the breaking of seven seals, the blowing of seven trumpets and the pouring out of seven vials of wrath are all intervening judgments performed by God alone. Let me be brutally succinct and put it another way. Man does not perform the judgment of man in that day. God glorifies himself alone. Men would only try to explain the judgments away as some inexplicable anomaly or natural occurrence. They would not think it had anything at all to do with their own way of life. They would never admit that their sins had finally come under the scrutiny of an angry God. God has endured centuries of our reasoning and wrangling about whether he would actually intervene and judge our behavior. Not even Christians seem to know that he has given us a many examples and an iron clad guarantee that assures us that he will. In the twenty eighth chapter of Deuteronomy, God gives a list of the blessings that we will earn if we obey him in a mere fourteen verses. In the same chapter he pronounces the things that will befall us if we choose to go our own way, and that takes no less than fifty four verses. Some of the judgments included are madness, hemorrhoids, and blindness. The worn out clichй that says that a loving God would never do such things to us needs to be re-examined in a more realistic light. God usually forewarns people through men and women who aren’t afraid to speak up, but he tells only a very few exactly what those judgments will be. I have not been notified about great disasters or calamities as a rule, but I am still under mandate to proclaim those judgments revealed in the scripture and especially those of the book of Revelation. The only specific judgment I have so far ever been apprised of in advance is the coming economic collapse in America. That doesn’t mean I haven’t felt that some of the calamities I have witnessed did not make me ponder the idea that God had surely intervened to bring them about. One such event was the recent tsunami that killed a quarter of a million people in Indonesia and other counties in that part of the world. I don’t like hearing about disasters, hardships or the demise of any people and it brought me great sorrow to learn of this horrendous tragedy. I prayed for those families who had victims of the disaster as I watched the reports along with the rest of the world. About a week after the tsunami struck I heard a little news item about that region of the world that had not received much attention before or after the disaster. I found it impossible to overlook the report without giving it further examination. I heard a report that said that the sale of infants and the child pornography business in that area is the largest in the world. The reporter said, it is estimated that the income for child porn and baby sales was approximately twelve billion dollars a year. If ever I have felt that a calamity could he a direct judgment of God it was this one. I was reminded of a powerful and serious warning that Jesus gave... But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Katrina the perfect storm

I've heard it said that, "As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual." Applying that statement to the displaced American victims of Hurricane Katrina, as its winds blew and the waters flooded, I cannot help but feel that the wind of the Spirit was ALSO blowing as the flood of Christians and potential world-changing survivors has now been scattered all over the nation. What Satan intended for evil, God will use it for good. How can I be so sure? Because, throughout Church history - and even in my own life - we can see that the devil ALWAYS shoots himself in the foot. Examples? When the Jerusalem Church was scattered through persecution, I'm sure many believers wondered how it could have happened. Things were so good, after all. The Church was flourishing and multiplying. Later, along comes this trouble-maker named Saul from a place called Tarsus. Where the Church was concerned, this guy was public enemy #1. Then he has a personal encounter with Jesus while en route to rounding up a bunch of Christians and taking them to trial, and winds up ultimately writing 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament. But right after Saul (who was also called Paul) had his encounter with Jesus - an encounter that left him blind - a believer named Ananias was instructed by the Lord to go to and lay hands on Saul and restore his sight. It's very likely that Ananias was one of those displaced Jerusalem Christians who had to flee the persecution of Rome. He had been strategically placed near Saul's spiritual "Ground Zero" by God for this incredible purpose. Despite his initial fears, Ananias ministered to Saul as a new convert. He healed Saul's eyes. He instructed Saul, confirming that the Jesus seen by Saul on the road was indeed the Lord. He comforted Saul, addressing him as a Christian brother. He baptized Saul, formally incorporating him into the body of Christ. Finally, Saul became fully restored as he gobbled up some groceries. In all, Ananias's ministry models for us the supportive, restorative role the Church is to play in the lives of strangers, regardless of their past reputations, or our fear of them. DISPLACED PEOPLE ARE NOTHING NEW Reaching out to displaced people is nothing less than to connect with other human beings for a Divine purpose. Did you know there are currently 50 million or so such people in the world, displaced because of natural disasters, drought, war, famine or persecution? It is in reaching out to these people that we allow ourselves to experience transformation. Besides Saul, there are some other Biblical examples of people who were forced to leave their homes. Their experiences were probably much worse than those of the evacuees of Hurricane Katrina. For example, because of drought, Naomi, a Moabite, goes to another land. Because of a famine, Joseph's family eventually evacuated to Egypt. Because of systematic extermination of all 2-year-old children by Herod, Mary and Joseph fled to Africa. Yes, Jesus Himself was an undocumented refugee! Stories of God's people taking flight are central to our Christian tradition. Today, the response to these poor, displaced Americans who are being unceremoniously shuttled off to strange communities has been a compilation of extreme hospitality and compassion, and outright rejection. An emotional roller-coaster for sure. Clearly, the Biblical mandate to The Church is to welcome the stranger, to treat the foreigner as one of our own, to extend kindness to the sojourner. That's it. No finger pointing. Nothing but hospitality. Will it be easy? Surely not. But God's grace will prove sufficient as always. Getting involved with other people's lives and struggles can be tough. For those who step out of their comfort zones in order to "reach out and touch someone," though not all your experiences will prove joyful, they WILL be transforming. For YOU as well as for those you assist. THE PURPOSE-DRIVEN REFUGEES Have you listened to the televised interviews with these evacuees on the news? Time and again, overwhelmingly, they are giving praise to God and expressing their unwaivering faith and trust in the Name of Jesus. Tonight, I watched in awe as, on two separate occasions, young teen girls, attending new schools after being displaced, wisely declared that they will be stronger people for having experienced what they've gone through. How could this NOT be true? Folks, they saw the glory of God. They were witnesses to His mighty hand snatching them from the jaws of Death. Their lives are forever changed. They can give public testimony - a witness - that they know God EXPERIENTIALLY. They can be world-changers as a result. Ten, fifteen years from now, I'd like to see where the Kids of Katrina will be. I'll bet they'll be changing lives. My contention? Though we may be reaching out and helping these people, just as Ananias reached out to Saul, it was Ananias - no, it was you and me - who actually needed what God had to offer us through HIM! As the Lord said to Ananias when he protested, "reminding" Him of the reports of the harm Saul was doing to the Believers in Jerusalem, "this man is MY CHOSEN INSTRUMENT...." If God can use Saul...Paul...to literally change planet Earth, He can surely use these displaced Americans who have been tossed about, tattered and torn by Katrina. If that's the case, and God is surely able, Hurricane Katrina may well turn out to be the perfect storm. As Christ Himself did when He revealed Himself on the road to Emmaus, let's reveal Christ to these strangers as they arrive in our towns, schools and church bodies. READ 'EM & REAP! Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Ezekiel 47:22 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers. 3 John 1:5 OTHER RELEVANT PASSAGES: THE STORY OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN (the Samaritans were strangers in the land of Israel): And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. Luke 10:25-37 NOTES! 1) The strangers in the land of Israel were expected to observe the laws of God. They were not given equal status in dealings directly with sacred things such as the Temple. 2) The Jews were often given into the hands of strangers for slavery and punishment by God when He was displeased with them. 3) God did not want the children of Israel to embrace customs and beliefs of strangers, but rather for strangers to embrace the ways of the Jews. Thus, we believe, the open immigration policy required by God Himself does not mean that Americans need to surrender America's great ideals and customs to a tide of foreign peoples. But Americans must persevere in a very generous and open-hearted treatment of all foreigners, at all times. This nation's prosperity and survival depends upon faithfulness to this central command of God. These people may be nothing less than "Grace-Growers" in our lives.

    Key to power praying

Jesus taught a message about how to pray that is radically different from what we hear in many circles today. You see, many feel that we are to pray for someone only one time and then cease praying for them. These people reason that if we pray once and they don’t receive, they either have sin in their life or they have no faith. This, however, is not what Jesus taught. See the following Scriptures. Luke 18:1-8 1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV) This is very simple. Jesus said that even a judge who could care less about the plight or justice of a widow would move to her defense if it would benefit the unjust judge. Then Jesus said that God also would indeed avenge the needs of His own elect when “they cry unto him day and night.” Now, crying unto God day and night doesn’t sound much like the religious clichй’s going around the land today. No. When we pray and minister for and to someone and the answer is not immediate, we stay the course. We do not quit. We continue to pray for them until God avenges them based upon our own “crying out day and night unto Him.” Paul buttresses what Jesus taught. He said that we are to pray without ceasing. See the following Scripture. 1Thes 5:17 17Pray without ceasing. (KJV) Matthew faithfully recorded Jesus' additional teaching on this subject. See the following Scriptures. Matt 7:7-8 7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (KJV) In the preceding verses, "ask," "seek," and "knock" are three Greek present tense verbs. Greek present tense verbs are primarily used to designate an action as "continuous action in present time." Consequently, the above verse means to ask and "keep on asking," to seek and "keep on seeking" and to knock and "keep on knocking" continuously in present time. The ones asking and keeping on asking will receive. Doing things Jesus’ way gets results. Doing anything based on the lack of faith of many today is disastrous, powerless and leaves the people for whom we pray absolutely helpless. Stay the course dear ones and you will win. You will receive. This is the key to power praying.

Law of attraction 3 ways to make it easier

Perhaps you are one of the many people who have read all you can and tried everything to apply the law of attraction. Unfortunately you may also be among the many people who struggle with gaining any success in attracting what you truly desire. Attraction is really quite easy once you understand the fundamentals of it all. Many of the ancient teachings on attraction were quite simple. They always consisted of deep training that took sometime for the practioner to develop over time. These days there are many teachings that aim to cure one or more dysfunction in the attraction process but truly most of these techniques are faulty for one reason. Those teachings emphasized too much on what you are doing wrong instead of simply teaching you what is already perfect within you. As small as that switch may be it is in perfect alignment with the law of attraction. If you believe that you must fix one thing or another in order to apply the law of attraction you are already heading down the wrong path. Here are 3 tips for getting the best out of the law of attraction. 1. Impress your mind with the teachings of attraction for several days to several weeks first before you try to manifest anything. You must change your belief first before you can successfully attract what you want. You may try the techniques but if you are doubtful that they will work, then your success rate will drop. 2. Detach from the feeling of wanting. It may seem like a big contradiction to not want what it is you so deeply desire but wanting sends of a needy signal to the universe. NOW, this very moment is your point of attraction and the universe responds to what you are thinking and feeling NOW. SO if you are in a state of wanting, you are not in alignment with having what you want. 3. Take more time to day dream. The more you day dream the stronger and more familiar you will feel in working with your spiritual self. Most people fail to succeed in connecting with their desire because they do not give themselves enough time to enjoy living in their inner world. The more time spend with your vision the stronger it becomes. Monks and holy men who went into the woods to meditate for days and weeks knew the power of correct visualization. There knew the power in learning those techniques that opened portals to infinite power and so they were able to manifest with greater speed and success, which you can too.

Law of attraction biggest mistake 1

Many years ago as I sat with my mentor he made a big promise to me. He said, “I am going to teach something so powerful it will change your life forever. You are going to have more money coming to you than you ever thought possible.” I was instantly excited. Who does not want to have more money to take care of their debt or even have money to travel and have fancy things? I wanted to live a better life and so I became instantly excited to learn that secret key to attract more money and success. We made a set time in which to learn the teachings and also time to practice them. When the time came I was overjoyed. I knew that he was a man of power who knew many things that most mainstream teaches have no clue about. I knew that the knowledge he had was deep and I wanted it. I could just feel my whole life about to change. Then he gave me three points to write down then stopped. I was immediately furious because what he told me seemed so basic, it was heard and read everywhere. It was some mumbo jumbo about knowing what you want, visualizing it and believing it. I was immediately angered and it was quite obvious from my expression. Then he looked at me and said, so you believe that you have the answers, why then are you still broke and frustrated? I was immediately embarrassed and could not respond. It was true what I had then were the ingredients but I had no technique. You can have all the ingredients to making a cake but without the correct recipe that cake has little chance of coming out in the way you truly want. Lots of us are like that in applying the law of attraction to our lives, we assume that all that is ever really needed are the tools. You may have the basic tools for applying the law of attraction into your life but without learning just how to use each method to it’s very best then you have nothing; and chances are because you do not know how to effectively use the tools you may simple put them aside. Later as I became calm and open his deep lessons began. His advanced techniques blew me away. His intense power to draw in money at any given time is pure magic and I quietly learned each and every one of his techniques.

Law of attraction you do not attract what you want

If there is one secret to the attraction process it is this one nugget of truth. Try to master it and you will find a big difference in your ability to attract easily and faster than ever before. What is this secret you are asking? First ask yourself, “What do I want?” Make a list of those things you want. Now ask yourself how does it feel when you do think of those things. Most people will tell you that they feel sad, frustrated down and needy. All those feelings are in total disharmony with the actual feeling of having. Now ask yourself how would you feel if you NOW had all the money in the world to do the things that you really want to do? Can you feel just how different that feeling is? There is a distinct feeling of pretending or imagining what it is to now have the thing that you “want.” To successfully apply the law of attraction you must move into the feeing of having as apposed to the feeling of wanting. One of the most difficult things for most people to do is to bring themselves into the feeling of having. It’s not easy but there are many techniques that can easily bring you into that state with great easy. The mehtod to successfully manifesting is to vibrate on the state of already having and the more you can feel yourself in a clear, balanced and rich state with an abundance of energy the faster you can materialize what you want. Law of attraction 3 keys to unlock your reality

The first key is acceptance. First accept where you are at the moment. You simply cannot attract new circumstances if you deny your present condition and experiences. Where you presently are is filled with wealth and beauty and great things. You must first love all of what you are and where you are before you can move on. YES this is extremely important to know. You have heard people say this all the time, “After years of being frustrated with my job, I finally decided to learn to love it when suddenly someone offered me a new and better paying job. You may have heard many remarks like these, “For years I hated my body but I finally got to love my pouch then suddenly I started to loose weight without doing anything!!!” --The Second Key— Find the beauty in all things. Every single thing in life has two sides, both good and bad, dark and light, beautiful and ugly. What you are experiencing depends on which side you are looking at. Learn to see the most beautiful part in whatever you are experiencing. If you are dealing with the ugliest moment in your life, look at the beautiful lesson it is here to teach you. Mystics know that out of the darkest moments comes the most light. Out of ugly comes beauty, out of hardness comes softness. Love it all, observe it all because it is all linked. One cannot exist without the others. In order to apply the law of attraction with success you must realize this nature of reality and know with confidence that what is good will come out of what you presently see as hard or difficult but only if you first choose to see the beauty inside of the hardship. The law of attraction requires that you alter your focus to what is beautiful and what is beautiful is almost always found inside the darkest of circumstances. --The Third Key – The root of what you are trying to attract comes out of your present conditions. You can successfully apply the law of attraction by realizing that your past present and future are interlocked and really are one source of the total you in all your many forms. What you want could not have even existed or come to you had you not first been where you are today. Where you are today is the foundation for where you are going so you should honor your today moments in all its darkness and beauty. --Opening Up Your New Reality-- The best thing you can do for yourself is to get out a notebook and begin to journal your present experiences. You must take a hands on approach in mastering yourself in order to have success with applying the law of attraction. Write out each point and begin to examine yourself. Writing is healing and it will absolutely change your at a deeper subconscious level.

Go deeper and wider and allow yourself to realize that you live in a vast and abundant universe that is greater than any tiny wish that you have. Realize that there are endless unused possibilities in the universe.

    Change Your Perspective

Do you recall visiting a high building and looking down to a location at street level where you may have been walking earlier? What a perspective! Again you can have a much greater understanding of the law of attraction and your ability to manifest more money than ever before if you stop looking at your life at eye level. Law of attraction are they killing your money flow

Learn what one man shared with me about the biggest money killer in is life. This is extremely important to your acquiring money or anything else for that matter. One of the biggest obstacles many of us have in this life is in dealing with the opinions of others. It’s bad enough that you have your own fears and doubts but when you add that to the negative thoughts and words form others it can be detrimental in your ability to manifest what you want. I met a man many years ago who told me a story about his first try at starting his business. It had been is life long dream to have his own business and he had been preparing and planning for it for many years. When he first begin his business he was dating a woman who wanted to get married to him. In all appearances he seemed to be doing very well. In the beginning his business did very well, his client base was increasing daily and he could not be happier. Then it happened, all of a sudden he began to do very poorly. He began to loose clients quickly and somehow a dark gloomy cloud seemed to hover over his affairs. He could not pin point what was happening but it seem like a super natural force had taken over his life. The reality was that there was something killing his financial flow and blocking his ability to attract more wealth. This doom an gloom took over his whole body and it began to affect the relationship he was in until it came to a quick end. Shortly after the relationship broke apart he business once again took an upward sing and the change was rapid. What could be the cause of that? He wondered to himself. What has so dramatically blocked his ability to attract the abundance that he was once again getting? Being a very reflective man he began to inquire about what had changed in his life to cause the change. On further reflection it occurred to him that the woman in his life did not want him to be as successful as he was now getting. Looking back he realized that every single night she complaining to him that money was not that important and that he should just maintain a small client base. She was filled with fear that he could become too busy to spend time with her and also fearful that he would become too wealthy and no longer want her. She bombarded his mind daily with these worried and in time those thoughts really affected his ability to manifest the sort of wealth that he was trying so hard to build for the both of them. Not everyone has the insight to examine the people who block us form attracting the things that we want in life. Not everyone will have success with the law of attraction for this simple reason. We don’t realize that we don’t create on our own we are always being influenced by those around us. It’s the reason most wealthy people will tell you that in order to manifesting what you really want in life you must be in the presence of like minded people who will also life you up.
