SEO Services Delhi Company (e-fuzion) uses multiple words, which are useful to attract targeted audience therefore they are strongly recommended to be used. Typically, although it is not a hard and fast rule but in theme based keyword we use general keywords in root level and use specific keywords in root level and uses specific keyword in directory level. Targeted local search engine optimisation

One of the key elements to Internet and Online marketing is identifying your target market. Who are they, how old are they and most importantly where are they located? With the advent of more advanced geo-location software systems being used by Google we are now able to target very specific markets with our online marketing campaigns. The first step in this process is to write down and identify your market with the 3 questions I have listed above. Once you have done that then you should consider the following and address them in order to hone in on your target search engines and then consequently your target market. I will use the example of a Web Designer and Developer in Melbourne, Australia. 1. The website should be hosted in the country and if possible the city in which you plan on targeting with your online marketing strategy. 2. The website should have on page search engine optimisation which is tailored towards the region - country - city. So, in other words these three elements, if they are identified as the target market, should be mentioned in titles, keywords, meta tags, content, on page titles, links etc within the website. 3. Any controllable external links to the website should have a sprinkling of the region - country - city within them, without over doing it. 4. The website should have a fully qualified domain name. In this case. au 5. The website should be listed in the regional Google search index. You can go to your local search engine and simply register and request for the googlebot to scan your website. If you host within the region and/or you have a fully qualified domain name then you should get listed within the regional index anyway but registering will triply ensure. 6. Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and then go to Tools->Set Geographic Location. Some sites target users for a particular geographic location. For example, a site may target all users within a specific country, or it may target only those users who reside within a very small geographic area within that country. Using this feature allows you to further refine your target your market. 7. Have a regional specific phone number. For example, for website design in Australia it would be 1300 880 841. 8. Get listed in local online directories. 9. Use a Google map that shows your business location. This will ensure that your regional association is further enhanced within the search engines. Once you have done all of these things then your website should be fully targeted towards your identified target market. Now you just need to make your site interesting, make it sell and get it developed properly in order to do this.

Targeting adsense ads on your website

: Offline, your business success is measured by location - in other words, your business must be located where people amass looking for what you have to sell. Online, it's no different. People are looking for information. They "go" where the information is, and you as a webmaster own online real estate. Your website. Your website content must be full of specific, focused information. If your desired visitors are "everyone", you will fail. You must decide what you are offering to whom, and create in-demand content for those people. Once you have the content, you will get listed highly by the search engines and the traffic will come. Once on your website, your content must PRE-sell you, your business and, ultimately, whatever your visitors have the opportunity to purchase on your website. Your perfectly constructed, targeted focused content is a perfect venue for Adsense ads. The Adsense code on your perfected pages will pull up targeted ads for your visitors every time. But maybe your page has a variety of information on it and you want to emphasize a certain part of it to focus the Adsense ads. Google has something called "section targeting" that you can use under certain circumstances. You need to be familiar enough with html to add certain code to your site source code, and the sections you want to target need to have a large percentage of your overall page content, enough that Google can understand what you are targeting. You add to the beginning of the section you want to target, and at the end of the section. Google will decide if this section will make you more money, so if it won't, you won't see any change in your ads. Also, it can take up to a couple weeks to see a change. This technique is particularly useful in blogs, where Adsense ads have an uncanny knack for picking up on terms you don't want it to use. It's very simple, but not "easy", to build that content rich website. We're not talking overnight success story here. But a long term income built on honest, solid principles that have stood the test of time is nothing to shrug off. Build it and the Adsense ads will come.

Tea websites or loan websites it doesn t matter any type of website can benefit from paid seo

A Search Engine Optimization firm can be an invaluable asset in your Internet marketing campaign. They specialize in knowing how to highten your search engine positions, monitoring those positions on the regular basis, and adjusting their strategies to account for unwanted results in any given month. Since this takes a lot of effort, time, and specialized knowledge, it can be in your best interest to go to an outside source rather than try to maintain high search engine positions on your own. However, like every business, there are good companies and there are lemons. Knowing the right questions to ask and the criteria to look for will help you in choosing an affordable, effective search engine optimization company. When looking at different companies, begin by considering the approach they employ to raise your search engine positions. Steer clear of companies that use cloaked, doorway, or bridge pages to raise your positions. These techniques violate most search engine policy, and in the worst case scenario, will only get your website severely penalized, if not removed entirely from a search engine's index. No matter what kind of website you run it is vital that you are not of the opinion that only certain topics would benefit from paid optimization. A website about Tea might benefit just as much as one about marketing or even loans. Why would tea being the subject matter? Well quite simply paid optimization could benefit any subject. Another important element is to get a guarantee that the company you hire will not work with your competitors while they are working for you. Obviously, this would seriously compromise the effectiveness of the search engine optimization campaign. Be aware that some companies will use the success they achieve for your website to sell their services to your competitors. So get your guarantee in writing, and make sure it is legally binding. Of course, one of the most important factors you want to check out is the company's track record of results. However, don't take the company's word for it. They will undoubtedly be slanting their results in order to sell their services to you. To go beyond their simple statement of success, ask them a few pertinent questions, and verify their answers. Also, find out what keywords and phrases they are claiming great results with. It's easy to get high rankings with unpopular words. For instance, the keyword "cat leashes" will get high popularity ranking because no one else would think of using it. What you are looking for is good results using popular keywords. Check out the software Wordtracker, available at wordtracker. You can order a free trial, or a subscription ranging from 1 day to 1 year. This software rates the popularity of keywords and phrases based on actual search engine use. Next, look for good results over an entire site that the company claims to have successfully worked for. You want to see a wide range of positions over a number of different search engines using different keywords or phrases for the entire site. Request a report for any client the company claims to have done well for. This report should show good positions on a number of the most popular search engines for a variety of different, popular keywords and phrases. When you are checking out search engine optimization companies, make sure they have actually done the work they are claiming to have done. Some companies will use other company's results in order to get you to sign on with them. If you are in doubt, call the company they are showing you results for, and ask for the name of their search engine optimization company. It's important to keep in mind that a successful search engine optimization campaign will result in maximum exposure across a wide range of popular search engines using a variety of keywords and phrases. This is the formula for a successful campaign, and you should keep it always in the forefront of your marketing strategy. Ask the search engine optimization company you are considering for a report that shows you rankings across a number of popular search engines for a period of at least six months. Remember: search engine marketing is a process that is continual, and you need a company that not only understands this, but keeps constant tabs on your search engine positions. That company must also be able to adjust its strategy in the event that search engine rankings drop. Since search engine marketing is an on-going process, your positions must be constantly monitored. If you want your search engine optimization company to do this for you, request a sample of a monthly report. It is essential that this report should show rankings for the most popular search engines. Don't be impressed by a report that only shows great results for a limited number of small search engines. These are fairly easy results to acquire. Also confirm that the popular search engine results they are showing you are indeed the popular search engines currently. Be sure the sample report the company shows you is in a format that you can easily understand. For example, it could be in the form of a chart that covers a period of at least six months and presents data such as the top 50 positions broken down on a monthly basis or the top 5 pages each month. Then, ascertain that the company you are considering actually monitors these positions or pages every month, and that the sample report they show you includes findings and recommendations for the specific site. This insures that the company will actively monitor and make adjustments to their strategy on a continual basis rather than simply gather statistics on your positions. You need a company that is actively participant in your search engine marketing campaign, not just an information gatherer. Obviously, your finances have to figure into your choice of company, but bear in mind that a search engine optimization company is crucial the success of your marketing campaign. It is not just a casual accessory. If you cannot afford a company that will do a thorough and reliable job for your website, you might consider waiting until you do have the finances in place. If you have to find a company and can't wait for your finances to catch up, you may be able to find an affordable company that will also be able to supply quality, reliable work, such as a fairly new company. Just remember that there are risks involved with using a company without a proven track record - and that risk is your money! Don't take that leap unless the company can supply you with a least a few references. References are the most reliable indicator of a good company. Don't use a company that won't show your references because of any reason, confidentiality included. Remember - even doctors will provide references! The firm you choose should provide you with a minimum of two references, one that is from the past, and one that is current. When you contact these references, be prepared to ask precise, specific questions so that neither of your time is wasted. Ask them what their experience was like with the company, such as their availability to answer questions and deal with problems and their ability to meet deadlines. Ask the reference to rate the overall performance of the company. The most essential question to ask is whether the work of the search engine optimization company resulted in higher profits for the reference. Without profits, it doesn't matter whether your positions are at the top of the list or not. Well now you are armed with the relevant facts take the bull by the horns and your website about Tea, marketing or absolutely any kind of subject could end up with a totally new lease of life and your stats counter could start to rise like a thermometer in a heatwave.

Techniques and methods for researching keywords

If you have read anything about Search Engine Optimisation then you will already know some of the basic steps to take and what to alter but what is often not covered is the most important thing; keywords. In this article you will learn what keywords are, what keyword phrases are, how to find them, how to understand what they can do for your website and how to analyse them. What are Keywords? In simple terms Keywords are words and phrases that people type into search engines to find products or services that similar to yours. As an example I will use Google, these keywords and phrases are stored in Google's database and they make an assessment about the webpage and what it is about. Google highlight particular terms and expressions that paint the picture of what your web page is about - ideally these would be your keywords for this page. Then when someone searches in Google on these terms your website shows in the results. In the end how well placed in the search results is as a direct result of many different factors, but I shall not cover many of these in this article, only the actual researching of keywords. Why do I need keywords? You may have heard a lot about keywords and how important they are to the SEO process well to sum it all up they are the lifeblood of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Without the right keywords you could alter all of the correct elements (title, description, alt tags, meta tags, H1's etc etc) on your website but have little or no impact on how your website places in the search engine results pages (SERP's). It is essential to alter all of the right elements on your website with correct keywords. This is what SEO is all about, the marriage between the correct search word terms (keywords) and your web pages. You might have read some SEO references or you may just think that keywords are being over-rated and are not as essential to SEO as the experts make them out to be. You may even think that you know all of the words and phrases that people search on to find products or services like the ones that you offer, I can assure you that you do not, and that you do not need to research keywords. Many people try and optimise their websites by making up their own keywords from what they "think" are the right keywords but 99.99% of the time these efforts will fail - how can you know what are the most searched on keywords in the World for a particular topic without some research? By now you should be getting the idea that Keywords ARE every bit as important as they’ve been made out to be, and that bad selection or research on keywords will leave you with an incorrectly search optimised website that may actually cause it to drop in rankings. How Do I Select Keywords? Selecting the correct keywords for your website is fairly complicated but I shall break it up into smaller more manageable chunks so as not to confuse you. There is a bit of a process to researching keywords correctly. We must look at our website as a whole. What is the overall theme of the website? What are our main products or services? How many pages? Then we break up the website into web pages. We optimise a whole website by search optimising all of it's individual web pages. It is important that we understand the overall theme of the website but look at its individual web page content in more detail so as to optimise for it effectively. Write down the main terms to describe your website and its products or services. To do the following few tasks I like to have two browser windows and a spreadsheet open. Some of the following websites may require a login, but they are well known and reputable websites. We should now identify the web page we are going to be optimising keywords for and write down the main terms that are relevant to this web page. If you are just starting out then I suggest you do some of your interior web pages before you do your front page as you get used to the process of optimising this will make your life easier. So choose one of your main product pages to start with. 1. Open "overture inventory" website in your browser window. Using your written notes, type in your product or service and press the submit button. Now copy these results over to the spreadsheet program and label as Overture. 2. Open "WordTracker" in your browser window and using either the free trial account or a normal account, login to the system. Using the WordTracker wizard tool now type in the same product or service you typed in the last step. Highlight and copy over the WordTracker results to the spreadsheet and label as WordTracker. 3. Open "Google Adwords" in your browser window. Login and navigate to tools->keyword tool and then type in the same product/service we entered in the last two steps. Be sure to check the "Use Synonyms" checkbox. Once done copy all of the resulting words over to selected keywords and click on the "estimate search traffic" button. Now copy all of the results to the spreadsheet. 4. Now, looking at the spreadsheet you have generated there should be three collums of information, Overture, WordTracker and Adwords. In this step we want to remove all items that are totally unrelated or irrelevant, so go ahead and delete them. 5. Now, sort the three lists by search volume descending. Looking from the top down on each of the three lists we are going to bold the highest searched on and most relevant phrases. From each of the lists, now copy the bold items to a fourth space in the spreadsheet, these will form our more complete list of the top phrases and keywords. We have now formed a complete and relevant list of keywords and phrases to use on our individual web page. We should repeat all of the above steps to identify keywords relevant and take note of these. Using the keywords you have now identified you can now begin the process of integrating these keywords into your web pages and website as a whole. There are many articles out there that detail how and what elements to optimise on your pages. Trying searching in Google for "Introduction to SEO Strategies and Techniques" and follow the most basic onpage SEO techniques.

Ten essential tips ofr delivering successful seo

10 tips for effective SEO: Tracking Before you start your SEO campaign make sure to implement a quality web stats package that lets you know what search engine spiders are visiting your site, what keywords are referring the most traffic to your site, and how many hits/page views you are getting. Build great design To get the best search engine visibility web designers should follow the 5 basis rules if web design which states that web site should be: Easy to read Easy to navigate Easy to find Consistent in design and layout Quick to download Write effective Title tag on the page Arguably the most important ranking factor for effective natural SEO is the title denoted by the - title - tags on HTML. This title is considered primary text by the search engines meaning that all the search engines record this text and place considerable value on it. It is important because it is the first text shown in the search results as a hyperlink to your site. As a general rule a descriptive title should be 5 to 10 words for each page or 69 to 75 characters. Body text On your page you should always aim to have a healthy amount of descriptive body text to explain what the page is about, don't rely on the title of the page. You should aim to have your keyword in the text as much as you can, with it still being comfortable to read. This is known as keyword density. All search engines consider words at the top of the page, above the fold as more important in value than the rest of the page Domain and the URL Placing key-words in the domain can have some weighting in the effectiveness of your natural SEO. The reasoning is that the terms or phrases matching the words you typed in a query are highlighted when you view the search results. This is known as search - term highlighting or term highlighting. Note; If you are going to buy and use a URL that may have already been used in the past, it is worth while checking the history of the URL. H1, Bold, Italics You should have your main keywords once in an H1 tag, once in bold and then once in ITALICS, this should show the search engine crawler that these are important words/phrases for the page, so in turn the crawler will make the assumption that the keywords are important for a visitor. Anchor text Anchor text is what we call text links. You should always try and have all text links as descriptive keywords. When a spider follows the link to your page it should have an understanding of the content. Anchor text is a great way of improving your rankings on competitive keywords. Write fresh content Google loves fresh content. They have a fairly new spider called freshbot, it crawls the web daily looking for new/updated pages and sites. It will then list the page at the top of their index for that sites keywords. It will stay there for a few days, if the page was just an updated version of what is already in the results it will revert back to the old version and drop back to it's old position, if the page is brand new then it will drop completely from the index, until the next full update when it should take a permanent place in the results. Linking Build high quality external links to your website. Sites with high quality credible links pointing into them gain more popularity than sites with low quality links. It is rumoured that Googles places up to 60% of its weighting on quality of party external links: See: barracuda-digital. co. uk/linkbuilding Page submission Submit the root page to all the major UK search engines on the Internet: Google, Yahoo, MSN. It will take them a while until they crawl your site fully but be patient. There are plenty of directories online, find one that fits the theme of your site and submit the root URL, again this may take a while but be patient.

Ten indications that point to a rogue seo company

Search engine optimizers are everywhere, it is a booming business. SEOs as they are known help websites in numerous ways. They handle writing of copy, site architecture, as well as submission to directories. With rampant development of the web and its related services it is becoming harder and harder to separate the “wheat from the chaff.” Sadly along with genuine SEOs are present unethical or rogue SEOs who play the game by unfair rules. You need to be savy and think on your feet and learn to recognize a rotten apple quickly. Be wary of SEOs who send you e-mails unsolicited and make statements about getting you no 1 rank on large and popular sites like Google, Yahoo, and so on. 1. If a SEO beats around the bush and does not lay cards on the table then the company is suspect. An established SEO will have nothing to hide and will utilize only ethical practices. So, any SEO should explain with clarity what they will do for you. Never get taken in by big statements like “we have special arrangements with x, y, z so your site will get priority listings.” Watch out for misrepresentation of the SEOs success rate and false promises. 2. Unethical SEOs present what look like impressive lists of search engines that your site will appear on. Often many of the search engines listed will be dead sites. If the SEO was a professional outfit they would make efforts to ensure that the information they provide will withstand scrutiny. 3. There are companies that are in actuality just telemarketing business that will hound you, take an advance, and fail to deliver whatever they promise. Beware of companies that plague you on the e-mail and phone. 4. SEOs often abuse search engines. They buy links with high page ranks and link the site to yours. Often the link site is not of quality or good content. Practices like this can get your site banned by search engines, damaging your reputation. You need to check the references provided by the SEO and do a market survey to establish their credentials and business standing. 5. SEOs who work in the dark manipulate key word frequency by producing content that is nonsensical with the correct frequency of key words. This is done to ensure that your ranking improves. Avoid this and determine exactly how the SEO is going to help you. 6. Any SEO that promotes free-for-all links or popularity schemes is to be avoided. These are just meaningless exercises and embellishments of a grandiose scheme. This will never improve your ranking or lead anywhere. 7. Beware of SEOs that use shadow domains to gather hits. SEOs create and own such domains to fulfill false promises. 8. Tools like spyware and scumware are used to generate traffic. Generating fake traffic is not going to do your website any good in the long run. No business can sustain on the creation of a mirage. 9. SEOs club search engine results with pay-per-click and pay-per-inclusion and even place you in the advertising section than in the search engine itself. Be clear what they are charging you for and what the SEOs plan of action will be. 10. Unscrupulous SEOs even urge customers to pay for the ability to type keywords directly into the browsers address bar. Be cautious and never take a SEOs claim at face value. Be wise and careful. Do your homework thoroughly and check the credentials of any SEO you are considering. If you are suspicious check them out. If you feel you are deceived by a SEO complaint at ftc. gov/ . And, do include a money back guarantee in your contract.

    Ten search engine optimisation mistakes

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not something performed as a blanket approach to website development, it is an individual set of actions performed page by page to suit that page's particular goals and SEO needs. I like to break up a clients website into specific and important pages based on the keyword terms we have identified through research and then write the first few pages to suit those terms. We associate page titles, page file names (buy-blue-widgets. html), H1 tags, description and keyword Meta tags and in page content to tell the story that match those identified keywords. It is also important to ensure your pages are W3 compliant and have no errors. I have compiled a list of some of some common Search Engine Optimization (SEO) mistakes. 1. Bad Titles. Titles are the most important thing about a webpage. Search engines spiders see the title on your page first and they make a general assessment about it based upon this. They scan the page and make sure the content of the page matches the title and then assign rankings based upon these matches and how they best fit. The title tag is the best way to inform the search engine what your page is about, and they play an important part in ranking if used properly. Placing your main identified keywords in the title and ensuring to obey the rule of leftward and stemming is vital - leftward rule, the closer the word to the left of the sentence the more important it is, stemming is where words can be associated but with words in-between i. e.: Great Blue Widgets when stemmed would allow Great Widgets. It is important to ensure your title matches your page content, description and Meta keywords and in unique for your website. Every page title and content should be unique otherwise is will be ranked supplemental. 2. Filename of the page. It is important if you are using dynamic websites like Joomla or other content management systems that a search engine friendly URL translator is installed. Because I use Joomla every day I will describe what I mean relating to Joomla. In Joomla (and most other dynamic websites) URL's like the normal Joomla URL "index. php? option=com_mtree&task=listcats&cat_id=1766&Itemid=35" drive the website. The problem with these URL's is that they are unintelligible by humans and also by search engines. Installing a search engine friendly URL component will change these pages to something more meaningful and also including your keywords in these page names can help with SEO. The newly transformed search engine friendly URL would look like this "buy-blue-widgets. html". If you do not have a dynamic website then ensuring your page name is short, to the point and contains your main keywords for that page maybe with a call to action like "buy" and "blue widgets". 3. Duplicate or Bad Content. Ensuring your content is unique and relevant is vital in SEO success. Often websites just duplicate content or bring in plagiarized content from other websites. It is my experience that these websites fail dismally in search engine rankings. Write some decent and unique content or maybe search online and find someone who can actually write you decent unique content for a fee. Make it good, friendly and unique content that people will want to link to. If you are listed in the supplemental index of Google then making sure you titles, descriptions, Meta keywords and on page content is unique is the only way to drag them out of the supplemental index. 4. No Links. Having covered off a few of the on page most important SEO tips we now look at links, which are an off page SEO concept. For each person or website that links to your website it is a vote for your site. If the website that links to yours has a high pagerank itself then it carries more weight. Simply having good keywords, titles and text on your page is only part of SEO. Just because you created a unique and perfectly optimized webpage does not mean you will automatically gain a decent pagerank for that page. In order to ensure SEO success you have to create incoming links - this is probably the hardest part of search engine optimization because you are effectively selling your pages all over the Internet. One way to gain instant (within a few weeks) links is to pay for text advertising - A search on Google will uncover some of the best text linking services. Link exchanges are bad because for every vote you get you are giving one away and if you happen to link to a "black listed" site then Google will penalize you significantly. One way links are the ultimate in SEO link campaigns so seek out directories (either paid or free, you need to evaluate), post in forums, write articles and submit them and ask other friendly webmasters if they can help you out with a link. The best way to gain links is to have unique content that other people actually want to link to. 5. Incoming link anchor text. Having pointed out how important it is to gain incoming links it is now important to also point out that the text those links are anchored to is important also. The text should be targeted at your main keywords and the page they point to should have those keywords as relevant and prominent also. The website you link from should be relevant to your website. So, as an example I own a web design company in Melbourne, Australia so I gain links from web hosting providers and/or open source Joomla sites in or around my region. Getting 1000 links from a casino related website will serve no benefit to my website and will not make it rank higher for "web design" keyword search terms. Use professional common sense when gaining links. 6. Bad Internal Page Links. We return to on page factors that you can work on within your website. It is important to make sure that the anchor text linking to pages within your own website is relevant to the target page. Make sure the title tag is filled in also for each link. You have the greatest control over links from within your own web site so make sure they are relevant and that link title and the on page copy match the main keywords of the target page. 7. Live links. Using some external tools like the link checker that W3 Org offer is good. I suggest harnessing as many tools as you can to ensure all of the links on your website are live, working and not sending people to 404 error pages. It is also important to check and make sure your page markup, or html, xhtml, is valid so W3 also offer a tool to check this. Make use of both of these freely available tools. 8. Impatience. Search Engine Optimization is not a short term task. It is one of an ongoing refinement after refinement and hour after hour of working on your website. Producing unique content, checking it, validating, listing and checking the search engines and making sure they have it listed correctly. Do not think for one second that you can optimize your site thoroughly ever and do not ever think that just because you are number one for a search term that it will indefinitely stay that way. Search Engine Companies are always changing their ranking and rating systems and coupled with this there are always other people out there gunning for your top spot. Keep looking to improve and learn more and don't sit back and wait for others to take your top spot, be proactive, seek out new content, links and keep ahead of the curve. 9. Keyword selection. This is proving to be a very common mistake among beginners to SEO. Often people base their own keyword selection on what they *think* is right but is this what people actually search for when they are looking for your product or service? Often the answer to this questions is no. It is an important step to do the correct keyword research and ensure you have the right keyword list before you optimize any pages with them. Using Overture, Google Adwords and some other paid keyword tools like WordTracker (the default standard in Keyword Finding) are vital to success in finding good keywords. It is important to localize your target market and figure out what they are actually searching on when they are looking for products or services that you offer. Do the research and be as specific as possible while still being broad enough to capture some high keyword traffic. 10. Keyword Spamming and Stuffing. If you sell "Blue Widgets" then every page of your site does not need to have "Blue Widgets" in the title, description and Meta tags. Try and be objective and analyze you website. Focus pages on a specific group of keywords you have identified from the keyword list. Sometimes finding niche markets locally first can be best. So, as an example, "Buy Blue Widgets Australia" or "Buy Blue Widgets Melbourne". These would be examples of good second or even third tier search keyword phrases but you can make some good sales with these niche terms because the searcher is targeting buying these items. These are not the be-all and end-all of Search Engine Optimization mistakes but I have found these to be the main mistakes made by my clients prior to Kanga Internet being involved. Good luck and I wish you all the best with your SEO efforts.

    Text links for better seo

Let's talk a little more about using Text Links for better SEO placement becuase it's a very relevant tool that you have at your disposal and something that you should consider exploring. Working with text links to help with your SEO rankings is going to involve a good solid chunk of time. So, don't think that this is an easy solution because it's not, but it is solid ... at least it is for now. Here's some search term improvement techniques for you to take into account: 1. Link Exchanges Used to be everyone was exchanging links with anyone else who give them a link. Then Google danced and bamm ... doing that will get you lower placement. So, you have to be smart and ONLY exchange links with other domains that are relevant to your site's topics. Do that and you will see your domain move up the ranks. 2. Billboards This is something kind of new and is working for now until Google bans the companies offering this service. I'd say use it while it works my friend! Sites using Billboards are noticing significant rank increases. One site recorded the following... Over the last 3 months, we have added about 20 unique billboards ... We did about 2 per week, and every week we would see position moves of 1 - 2 positions. This is an extremely effective tool because it gives you relevant backlink content on different IP's. Take the time to write good article/news stories and plug your company or product. This technique will pay off. Don't believe me? pick an obscure term without competition, and put up 2 - 5 billboards using the term as anchor text through-out your BB's and you will see position moves within 4 weeks. The use of Billboards is currently a very good way to get your website relevant positioning in a shorter period of time and you can do so for reasonable fees. You only need to pay for Billboard space on another's IP for 30 days, by then the search engine will have found you. Make sure the IP is spidered by all the major search engines regularly. After 30 days, you can remove your page and go on to the next IP. Keep doing this and you will build a repository of text rich backlinks to your own domain. Very yummy search engine food! 3. Text Link Advertising Text link ads are very affordable for those not wanting to dedicate all the time it takes to getting relevant backlinks. Okay, here's what I think is the best strategy with regards to buying text links. Most likely that PR8 website isn't going to get you any higher placement than the PR4-PR6 will. That's my opinion, others will disagree. My own testing is showing Google really doesn't pay much attention to their own PR system ... who knew?! So, buy links that are PR4-6 and don't pay over $25 for them ... unless of course they happen to be mine ... lol. Here again, I'd recommend you use Linkworth and use their set of tools to determine the worth of any link you might be considering ... those tools will even help you with domains that aren't in the Linkworth repository ... hint, hint! These types of one-way links will really help your placement. If you can get one-way links from other sources for free, go for it and make sure they have better PR than you do! 4. Content Development Well now here's a novel idea, the more content you ad to your website, then better your rankings will be ... and go one step further, you must do so on a consistant basis ... like every two weeks ad a new page. Ad pages with 250-500 words of relevant content and relevant links. And, this is really important ... make sure all your webpages have different content by at least 40%. Google is so smart it actually knows if you've got the same page up on the domain ... and it knows if you've got the same domain mirrored on other domains. You have to do the work! 5. Menu Structure Make sure the search engines can easily spider every page on your website. I prefer to hard code all my links ... including the domain name info. Taking short-cuts only hurts you. Make sure you use keywords in your menu links and make sure the search engines can easily follow your links from the top level to the second their third levels. 6. Website SEO Use the H1, H2 tages and relevant keywords through out the site. Keep keyword density around 2-5% ... going over will cause you to drop in the ranks. I speak from experience on that one. 7. Schedule Regular Updates Like I said, you must consistently add new content to your website to keep the search engines well feed and happy. You must get down and dirty and do this part, if you don't ... those purchased links aren't going to help you get all the way there. 8. Hurry Up and Wait It takes time to make all these things happen and with each step you have to sit back and see what result it had, if good then you step again. It's like a chess game ... really think about your next move and you can get to the top. And while you're waiting, put up a page that offers your viewers text links and graphical links back to your website ... create a "link to us" page. It's free! And, if your website is interesting, you'd be surprised how many people will link to you as a result.

The 5 best tools for search engine optimization

Any search engine marketing company should be utilizing the latest technology to obtain the best possible results for any web business. Writing articles and submitting press releases online have been traffic generators for quite some time, yet some companies are not utilizing tried and true methods to obtain results for their customers. Blogs or weblogs have become common among internet businesses as a way of talking direct to customers, telling them news about your company, giving better explanations of your products and just about any other ideas you can come up with. There are new (and not so new) technologies online that any wise SEO company will be utilizing to generate traffic for their customers. 1.RSS, or real simple syndication feeds, are a very simple method of updating customers on your products or services as the updates are made. Through an RSS feed aggregator, or reader, your potential customers can receive updates immediately through an RSS feed. RSS Readers will update your customers as soon as you add new information. The information can be easily set up to show on their homepage or sites like Google. 2.Social BookMarking is becoming a very important aspect of search engine optimization. A social bookmarking site is very much like adding a website to your favorites. The difference is that a social bookmarking site lets you communicate your favorites with everyone else on the internet! This also leads to one-way links pointing to your website. The premier site for social bookmarking is del. icio. us, first you register and then you can begin social bookmarking. Our secret for the easiest social bookmarking is The Socializer. It is constantly updated to include the latest social bookmarking sites. It provides you with a code that you can use on your sites to automatically allow your customers to social bookmark your site! There is another tool that teaches you how to use social bookmarking to promote your website it is calle Tag and Ping and you can find it here. 3.Webceo and IPB 9.0 are the best seo tools we have ever seen. Either of them will give you some major insight into the way search engines work. They assist you in analyzing your competition, choosing keywords, validate your site’s html and fix what is broken, submit to search engines and directories, check your rankings and more! 4.Google Sitemaps give the top dog of search engines a close look at your website. Instead of relying on the google robot to find every page of your site, your sitemap tells it exactly where to go. You can have your sitemap generated for you at this Google Sitemap Generator. Google analytics will tell you exactly what keywords people are using to find your site and which ones are getting clicked the most. 5.Our last, and possibly most important tool for search engine optimization is Roboform. This software remembers passwords and logins for many sites, but this is not the main use. We use Roboform for directory, article and press release submissions. This totally automates the process. All you do is enter your information and click a little button and it will fill in every bit of repetitious information in one second. This saves you a ton of time and allows you to get on with more important things, like customer service! Search Engine Optimization is a huge part of online business, but a necessary one. Your goal should always be to offer your customers the best website in your industry. If you cannot put in the time to create the best website online, there are plenty of companies that would be willing to do it for you, just be cautious and work with a reputable company.

The 7 points of do it yourself seo

Ever felt intimidated at the convoluted, jargon-ridden information about Internet marketing for small businesses available on the Net? Ever been horrified by the huge fees the experts charge, putting search engine optimization beyond your own means? Ever thought: What exactly is search engine optimization anyway, and can I do it myself? The answer is: Yes, you can! The basics of search engine optimisation in applied web marketing are simple. It's all to do with the keyword content of your text copy, and can be summarised in seven points. 1. Register a good domain name which reflects what your site is about. Even if you are an established business, don't register FredJones if you make widgets. Rather, you want to register something like BestWidgets because that would inspire confidence in people looking for quality widgets who would not necessarily have heard of Fred Jones the widget-maker. 2. Name your page URLs based on reasons similar to the above for your web promotion, except now you can be more specific. Search engines like to know what your page is about. Name a page after a product (BigYellowWidgets. htm) or a service or action (Buy-Widgets-by-Post. htm) on one of the sales pages. 3. The text in the title tag is crucial in letting search engines know what each page is about. Put your important keywords in your title tags, using both the singular and plural versions (people will search for both) and make these tags different and specific for each page. For example, "Widgets and After Sales Widget Services". Whatever you do, don't call the home page "Index", but treat it almost as a mini-description. 4. The other tags (at the top of the html page) between the two "HEAD" tags are not as important as the title tag, but the description tag is still used by some search engines in displaying what you would like web users to see when they scroll down a page of search results. Some search engines don't use the description tag at all; others, like Google, sometimes use part of it together with part of the main body text surrounding prominent keywords on your page. So you may as well treat the description tag seriously; make it brief (about 25 to 30 words) and as comprehensive as possible in the short space allowed. Make sure you have your popular keywords included within your description tag. The ALT tag is used for a very short description of an image or graphic file, and is what is displayed if you allow your mouse pointer to hover above a graphic. These days it is not considered important for search engines. The COMMENT tag is never displayed on the body page, and is used by coders and designers as an instruction or reminder to themselves about what that section of html coding should be doing; in the past, some webmasters in their quest for website promotion and search engine ranking used to stuff keywords in the comments tags, but now it is generally acknowledged that the main search engines pay little or no attention to these. 5. Keyword density. Each search engine has its own preference as to how many times a keyword phrase appears on the page in order to signify the relevance of that keyword phrase (in other words, in order to help the search engine understand what the page is about). Around 5 to 8 per cent is a rough guide as to the optimal level. Don't overdo it, otherwise it will be seen as spam or keyword-stuffing. Also use your keywords in the headings tags H1 and H2. There is an H3 tag as well, but it is doubtful whether search engines bother with that, as it is perceived as less prominent on the page, therefore less relevant to what the page is about. 6. Don't forget good linking in your website marketing. Search engines will judge the importance of your web pages to some extent on the number and quality of incoming links from other sites. Ask other webmasters with sites on similar themes to yours for a link, in exchange for a link back. These sites should not be in competition with yours, but should be similarly themed. You may occasionally be asked by other webmasters if they can link to your site. If this is so then have a look at their site; make sure that their site is relevant, that it has at least some Page Rank, and that it just "feels" good, and has no nasty surprises like redirects or unexpected popups. You don't want to be associated with a "bad neighborhood"! 7. Make sure that important keywords are included in the anchor text within inbound links from other sites. This is crucial to search engines when they try to figure out the relevance and importance of your pages. The inbound link from the other site should take the form of something like this (I'm using normal brackets instead of angle brackets so as not to use compromising html): (A HREF=" Yoursite") your important keywords included here(/A). You should definitely avoid something like (A HREF=" Yoursite")click here(/A), which tells search engines nothing except that your site is about "click here". Be careful!

The 52 top seo tips here are 10 of them

: From the obvious to the "Hey-I-never-thought-of-that-great-idea-before", here are 10 of the top 52 tips on how to optimize your website for its turbo-charge rocket ride up the search engine rankings. Be bold. Use the <b> </b> tags around some of your keywords on each page. Do NOT use them everywhere the keyword appears. Once or twice is plenty. Deep linking. Make sure you have links coming in to as many pages as possible. What does it tell a search engine when other web sites are linking to different pages on your site? That you obviously have lots of worthwhile content.

What does it tell a search engine that all your links are coming in to the home page? That you have a shallow site of little value, or that your links were generated by automation rather than by the value of your site. Here is an example of deep linking, in this case to my personal happiness workbook.

Become a foreigner. Canada and the UK have many directories for websites of companies based in those countries. Can you get a business address in one of those countries? Newsletters. Offer articles to ezine publishers that archive their ezines. The links stay live often for many years in their archives.

First come, first served. If you must have image links in your navigation bar, include also text links. However, make sure the text links show up first in the source code, because search engine robots will follow the first link they find to any particular page. They won't follow additional links to the same page.

You can see this in action at the link to the home page on this web site monitoring page Multiple domains. If you have several topics that could each support their own website, it might be worth having multiple domains. Why? First, search engines usually list only one page per domain for any given search, and you might warrant two. Second, directories usually accept only home pages, so you can get more directory listings this way. Why not a site dedicated to gumbo pudding pops? Article exchanges. You've heard of link exchanges, useless as they generally are. Article exchanges are like link exchanges, only much more useful.

You publish someone else's article on the history of pudding pops with a link back to their site. They publish your article on the top ten pudding pop flavors in Viet Nam, with a link back to your site. You both have content.

You both get high quality links. (More on high quality links in other tips.) Titles for links. Links can get titles, too. Not only does this help visually impaired surfers know where you are sending them, but some search engines figure this into their relevancy for a page. Not anchor text. Don't overdo the anchor text. You don't want all your inbound links looking the same, because that looks like automation – something Google frowns upon.

Use your URL sometimes, your company name other times, "Gumbo Pudding Pop" occasionally, "Get gumbo pudding pops" as well, "Gumbo-flavored pudding pops" some other times, etc. Site map. A big site needs a site map, which should be linked to from every page on the site. This will help the search engine robots find every page with just two clicks. A small site needs a site map, too. It's called the navigation bar. There you have it: 10 of the 52 Top SEO Tips, a free tip sheet that comes with Don't Get Banned By the Search Engines: There is a lot more to search engine optimization, and there are always more details when looking at an individual site. But these tips should help any website significantly improve its rankings.

    The abc s of seo

Keyword content articles, boy oh boy are they the latest rage on the Internet! Have keywords got you spinning? Stop flailing around for a minute and pay attention, keywords are really not the big idea and as soon as you learn that, you'll be on your way to the top of the search engine. If you're ready to leave your competition to eat dust, read on. While we're on the subject of SEO, it's really kind of hard not to elaborate on domain names first. Let's say that the name of your site is Cow Doodle, just an example. Should your site be cowdoodle or cow-doodle? There's really a lot of debate about which would be best to use. Consider the hyphen because it may be easier for the bots to read, there's really no evidence that supports this and you should use your own discretion but that's my personal preference. Having said that, let's move on to the important topic and that's keywords. Keywords are what people use to find you, when they type in a phrase like "western boots", if you sell western boots or have any type of business relating to western boots then that means you want that person to find you. If it's western boots potential clients are typing in to find you, then that should be your keywords to begin with. If your business has fifty different pages, that feature fifty different items then doesn't it makes sense to dedicate your efforts unique to each page? Each page should be keyword rich keeping your products and searched terms in mind. Beware. If your products are made by G. E., it's best not to let the term "G. E." overcast your pages and put a damper on your products. The best way to find out what the best keywords would be for your site would be to put yourself in the shoes of your potential clients. Ask yourself a question. If you were a potential client looking for a product you have, what kind of phrase would you look for to find it? Answer that question and get other people to answer it too. It doesn't have to be a product; it can be services that you provide or anything for that matter. After you settle the keyword debate, think about keyword density. Keyword density is really a percentage. Let's say you have 100 words, and your keywords are mentioned 5 times throughout your content article, then you have 5% keyword density in that content article. That's seems simple enough right? It really is but the mistake that most people make is going overboard with keywords. I think you know what I mean, just take a look below at this example to see what happens when someone goes overboard. The norm would be: Mary had a little lamb, his fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go. Makes sense right? Mary had a little lamb, Mary had a little lamb his fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Mary had a little lamb, Mary had a little lamb was sure to go. That's gone overboard and it's everywhere! That's gone overboard, not going and it's ridiculous to try to do that to draw in potential clients. Would you rather have quality or quantity? Most of us want quality and it's no different for the potential clients you want to target. Not only should your content be keyword rich, it should be rich in context and that's where a little skill comes in. Don't waste your money on those supposed keyword generators because you'll end up editing the content and if you're not a writer, you'll be lost! Hire a writer. It may set you back a few bucks but in today's Internet politics, there's really no way around it. Top sites are paying freelance writers to develop keyword rich content everyday and why shouldn't you? There are oodles of places on the Internet at this very moment with content writers waiting to write killer content for your site, most of them are experienced with SEO requests and you'll notice a turn around by just viewing the stats of your website. The overall goal is to keep your clients coming back, grab their attention with useful information so that they can browse through your site to see what else you have to offer and that's priceless. Especially once you consider the money you are already losing. Meta tags were once the rave and everyone jumbled every keyword possible into them, guess what...sites still have them stuffed into page titles-it's useless. Meta tag days are over. Links are in though! You can gain some rankings by linking to other top sites that hold them and if you can negotiate some reciprocal links back, it's even better. This makes your site look important, if all of these sites want to link to you then that means your site should be easier to find. The search engines will reward you generously. If you want to gain better rankings, these are the ABC's of SEO and they should be followed with respect. A little patience and some hard work will put you closer to the top, where everyone wants to be.

The advance of algorithms new keyword optimization rules

: Major search engines like Google are constantly striving to ensure that sites at the top of their result pages offer invaluable information or service to their visitors. However, webmasters who are looking to make quick money while offering very little quality content are always finding new ways to beat the search engines at their own game. For this reason, search engines regularly change the methods they use to determine relevancy and importance of your site. Evolving Search Engines The first step you should take is to ensure that your website will do an effective job of turning visitors into money. The content needs to be optimized so that both search engine visitors and human visitors both deem it to be a useful website. Once upon a time, effective optimization entailed cramming content with as many keywords as possible and while this once generated good search engine results it invariably put visitors off. It is also now frowned upon and penalized as being spam by all of the major search engines. The Evolution And Improvement Of Algorithms Search engines use specific algorithms to determine the relevance of your website. The calculations from these algorithms determine where on the search engine result pages your website will appear. In order to keep the unscrupulous webmasters guessing and ensuring that results are always up to date, major search engines regularly update their algorithms. Recent Advances The result of some of the most recent changes has seen the impetus move away from optimizing websites for search engines and instead the algorithms are now geared to promote websites that give true value to visitors. They’re not only changing, they are evolving into more intelligent and accurate algorithms. While the use of keywords based around the relevant topic is still important, it is also important to ensure that visitors are your main priority. Keyword Optimization Keyword optimization is now more heavily guarded. Those who include keywords too often will have their sites labeled as spam, whereas not enough instances of the appropriate keyword means you won’t receive the desired results. However, the algorithms have become particularly smart and as well as the keywords you want to target you should include other relevant keywords. Including inflexions of keywords is one excellent way to ensure that your site is deemed to be relevant. Inflexions are slight changes to your keyword. For example, inflexions of the keyword “advertising” include advertise, advertised, advertisement, etc… Keyword Inclusion Weight is also given to keywords that are included in certain sections of a page. These sections include the title tag, meta tags (only relevant to smaller search engines now), header tags, image alt tags and formatting tags (e. g. keywords in bold or italicized) of your text. With image alt tags and hyperlink title tags it is important that you don’t simply fill these with keywords because this will be ignored at best, and penalized at worst. Natural Content Writing One of the most effective ways to ensure that your site is keyword optimized properly is to write the content naturally first. Once you have done this, go through and ensure that any relevant keywords are included throughout the text. Only place them where they would appear naturally and remove them from anywhere where they appear awkward. Once you’ve written the content you should also check the remaining factors to ensure everything is ok. SEO Keyword Checklist Below is a keyword checklist to ensure that you have fully optimized your web pages to the current, generally accepted search engine algorithm rules. URL Get your primary keyword as close to the beginning of the URL as possible. Title Tag The title should be between 10 and 50 characters and include one or more keywords while still being descriptive. Description Meta Tag The description meta tag should be insightful and useful but it should also contain one or two of your more important keywords. Keyword Meta Tag It makes sense that you should include all of your keywords in the keyword meta tag. Do not include any words that don’t appear in the body of your text. Keyword Density Your content should be made up of all of your keywords and other text. A total keyword density (all keywords) of around 15% to 20% is the maximum you should aim for and anything less than 5% is unlikely to yield good results. Density for a single keyword should be between 1% and 7%. 1% seems too low, and 7% a little too high. Wherever possible aim for approx 5% with the primary keyword and 3% with secondary and subsequent keywords. Header Tags (e. g. H1 and H2 tags) More weight is given to keywords that appear within H1 tags, then H2 tags and so on. Text Formatting Fonts (e. g. strong, bold and underline) This may not offer much weight in algorithms, but generally if you bold the first instance of your keywords and the last instance of your primary keyword you should see some positive results. Beginning Of Text The closer you can get your keywords to the beginning of your page content the better. Try to include your primary keyword within the first sentence or two and also within the last paragraph. Key-Phrases As Whole Phrases If you are targeting Internet Marketing as a key phrase then do not split the words up if possible. Some effect is noticed if the words are split, but much more benefit is received by including the phrase as a whole. Alt Text Include your keyword at least once in the Alt tag of any images. Ensure that the text is relevant to the image and gives some information.
