3 Tips for writing a great resume

In most job interview situations, your resume will provide your potential employer with his or her first impression of you. If your resume makes a good first impression, you will move on to the next step in the hiring process. If not, your resume will likely be filed and you will never have the opportunity to progress to an actual interview. For this reason, it is essential that you take the time to create a resume that will make the first impression you need it to make. Stay Clear and Concise Before you even start writing your resume, you need to be clear on what your objectives are. This means having a solid idea of the type of job that you want and the types of skills needed to obtain that job. By having a clear idea of the job you are hoping to get, you can structure the rest of your resume around this objective. When actually creating your resume, be clear about your objectives as well as the talents you can offer to the company. Don’t go into a great amount of detail about these talents – you can do that at your interview. Rather, provide the potential employer with a brief overview. Creating bulleted lists with short sentences is generally the best way to go. Remember, your potential employer will be scanning over dozens of resumes. Make it easy for him or her to read the highlights of what you offer to the company. Use Action Words Your resume should also contain action words such as monitored, managed, prepared, and developed. Not only will this help your resume stand out, it will also make it more likely to be picked out by the computerized resume scanners many companies are now using. With these scanners, the hiring manager inputs certain words that relate to the position and the computer searches for these words on the resume. If there are no matches, you resume will be overlooked. Do Your Homework You may very well have a number of skills and talents, but not all of them are necessarily valuable to the company. Do your homework so you are aware of what the company does and what it is looking for in the person it is hiring. Be sure to highlight these strengths in your resume in order to match the needs of the company. By following these simple tips, you will be more likely to get an interview. From here, it is up to you to “sell” yourself to a potential employer.

3 Tips to help your online video marketing beat the competition

Got a new business product but don’t know where to start? Video marketing just might be for you. This article discusses video marketing, its advantages and a short guide on how to make a video perfect for any marketing campaign. There are a lot of ways through which you can market your products and your services. Among these methods, the most cost-effective means is perhaps the internet. Through the internet, you can come up with every marketing campaign possible. The internet is so flexible and vast that with the right moves, it can help your business become more popular and more prominent. That being said, let me introduce you to the latest trend and possibly the most effective of all online marketing strategies: video marketing. --- Video Marketing --- Video marketing just might be the hottest trend to date in the marketing field. The time for telling through text marketing copy has passed. Instead, it’s now time for showing and demonstrating through video clips. If you’re not that familiar with video marketing, there’s absolutely no need for you to worry. The internet provides a lot of resources on how you can make your videos. You can learn about the tools that you need to make videos and the techniques that can make your videos work for marketing purposes. The following are some tips on how you can make video marketing work for your business. 1. Determine where to post your videos. First of all, you have to know where you are going to post your video marketing material. There are many choices available to you. You can place your video in your website for more interesting site content. You can also post video clips in online communities and blogs. Of course, you should not neglect to post videos in video blogging sites like YouTube. 2. Determine the video content. The prior step will help a long way in determining the content of your video marketing materials. As a general rule, your videos must contain information that will build more interest in your business’ products and services. However, the actual and specific content will have to vary, depending on where you’re posting your videos. For instance, videos in your website can be much more product - or service - oriented. Particularly, your videos can demonstrate how effective your product or service is. Your videos in your site can also be video testimonials from your customers. Moreover, they can be video clips about your special promotions and special updates. Videos posted in online blogs should be more about updates, news and special promotions. They should merely inform your viewers about the latest news and induce your audience to click on the link to your site for more details. For video blogging sites like YouTube, your video should be less product-oriented and more entertaining and creative. Your website link can be provided with the video and your products can be featured in them, but your videos must never be a simple sales pitch. You’re never going to be referred and reposted that way. 3. Identify your audience. All along, you should keep your audience in mind. How old are your intended consumers? Who are they and where do they come from? The content of your video marketing materials will also heavily depend on the demographics of your intended recipients. After you have done all of the abovementioned steps, all you will need to do is to make your videos and post them online. Of course, you may have to engage the services of a video server for your purposes.

3 Tools for product sourcing on ebay using seller central

You may have already discovered that selling on eBay can be fun and profitable. But after you’ve cleared out your garage and attic, and auctioned off everything your husband owns, where can you go to get new product ideas? Tapping into EBay’s Resources Most people don’t realize that eBay itself is actually a terrific place to find product sourcing ideas. Besides being an easy selling venue with built-in traffic, it also contains a goldmine of useful data about what that traffic wants to buy. One of eBay’s best-kept secrets is their Seller Central page ( EBay/SellerCentral). Very few people, even PowerSellers, are aware of this valuable resource. Consequently, very few people are taking advantage of the tools available there: • The merchandising calendar — this is a great spot to get sourcing leads because it shows you specifically what products eBay will be promoting over the next few months. It gives you dates and tells you which item categories you need to list your product in for it to be displayed on eBay’s homepage. When a user clicks on that item, your auction will pop right up. • The hot items section — this is basically a monthly trend-watching report. It tells you what items are moving, producing more bids, and getting higher final prices. It lets you get a feel for where the demand is. Whether you’re searching for products at a tradeshow or a rummage sale, Janelle Elms (JanelleElms), of eBay University, recommends, “Print this report and keep it with you at all times.” She explains, “If you don’t know what to look for, this will help direct and keep your mind focused to what’s moving on eBay.” • The hot categories section — this resource takes the top categories and gives you tips on how to sell in those categories, insider secrets about your buyers, and trending info. For each category, there’s a section called ‘In Demand’ that tells you not only the top-selling items in that category, but also the top keywords that buyers are using to find these items. Use those keywords in your listing titles. If you have any left over, put them in your description. Essentially, eBay tells you what to sell and then tells you how best to list it. Catering to Your Customers Advises Elms, “Don’t ever try to sell to the buyer what you think they need to own.” Users are already telling you what they want to buy — you just have to listen. These tools show you what consumers are saying they want and how they’re saying they want to find it. EBay users are ready to spend money with you — all you need to do is give them what they’re looking for.

3 Traits of quality seo web design

When it comes to web design, there are so amazing designers out there. Most web designers are very creative and have a strong artistic background. They are able to use their artistic talents to create layouts that are guaranteed to catch the eye of your visitors. Unfortunately, there is one major thing that most web designers are missing. The majority of web designers are not familiar with the concepts and implementation of search engine optimization techniques. Even if a web designer has at least some basic knowledge of SEO, the majority do not worry about implementing search engine optimization strategies into their designs. While this may seem like a trivial detail, it can actually be the root of some major problems. No matter how attractive your web site is, if it is not indexed by the major search engines, the traffic it receives is going to be minimal. Once you realize this is happening, you are going to have to hire someone with SEO knowledge to fix your layout. Therefore, you may end up paying double for something that should have been done the first time around. Whether you are a web designer or someone getting ready to hire a web designer, here are three traits of quality SEO web design: Usability: As a general rule of thumb, if the design of a web site makes it easy for your human visitors to navigate, it will also be relatively easy for search engine robots to access, crawl and index your web site. Making your site user (and search engine) friendly includes minimizing (or completely eliminating) things such as Flash, Javascript navigation and layouts designed with tables. By designing with usability in mind, you can be sure that your visitors and the search engines will be happy with your web site. Avoid Being Sneaky: Because web designers are generally very creative people, they like to push the envelope when it comes to designing web sites. Although this mentality can result in some truly amazing web layouts, it can also cause problems if taken too far. When creating a web site layout, it is important to keep the web master guidelines of search engines like Google in mind. Incorporating things like hidden text into your designs is a sure way to get penalized (or de-indexed) by search engines. It is ok to push the envelope with your designs, but just make sure that you avoid doing anything that the search engines tell you not to do. Onpage SEO: Although this is the last item on the list, it is actually the most important. On-page SEO is the basis for quality SEO web design. It is vital that properly implement things such as title, meta, H1 and H2 tags, along with internal linking and the other key components of on-page search engine optimization. Taking the time to employ these practices will make a significant difference in where your web site ranks in the search engines.

3 Types of online events you can host

There are a few different types of online events one can host and it will depend on the online event host’s purpose for hosting the event. Below are 3 of the more common types of online events. 1. Online Event showcasing exhibitors - This type on online event is where exhibitors showcase products that they are offering. They can offer discounts during the online event. The online event host has exhibitor booths available during this event. The FOCUS of this kind of events is EXHIBITORS. 2. Online Event showcasing guest speakers and exhibitors – In this type of online event, all participants benefit from learning some information from guest speakers. Exhibitors are also there to offer products and specials. There is a schedule of events as far as seminars/workshops being offered and there are exhibitor booths available during the event. The FOCUS on this kind of events is providing information via GUEST SPEAKERS and EXHIBITORS. 3. Online Event showcasing the host’s expertise. – For this type of online event, the host can look for sponsors for the event to help cover the costs of holding the event. There is a schedule of events for the workshops being offered by the host but there are NO exhibitor booths available during the event. Exposure is offered to sponsors of the event via text link on the online event site. The online event host is giving sponsors exposure to the audience that she is marketing the online event to. Before you decide to host an online event, decide on what type of online event you would like to have. Once you figure that out, you will have an easier time planning out your event. You will know what your online event focuses on and you will have an idea on how much to charge your sponsors or exhibitors.

3 Ways for driving traffic to your website

You need targeted internet traffic and sales for your online business to survive. Here are three ways through which you can increase traffic and boost sales to your website. Your website is ready. It sits there while you wait for anyone to come to your site, check your products, and yes, hopefully, to order something! However, it has been months and you are getting really frustrated. Your products are not selling and you are losing money. What you need is some internet traffic. Sadly, internet traffic doesn’t just come without you working on the advertising and marketing aspect of your e-business. If you would just keep on waiting for any traffic, your website would end up buried by your competitor’s websites. Your ultimate goal is to generate targeted market traffic. You are aiming for gaining your target consumers’ interest and drive them to your website. There are many ways that you could use to generate traffic. Below are three ways that you can employ. Number 1: Search Engine Optimization If people search through major search engines, type in natural keywords and your website comes up, chances are you could expect more website traffic than you could handle. This is your ultimate goal -- ranking heavily on every search engine in the internet. However, this does not happen overnight. It takes a lot of time and effort in order to achieve this objective. Your aim is to make your presence felt and known in the internet by becoming one of the top sites in the results page when a keyword query is made. As such, you could try filling your website with articles reflecting the relevant keywords. Remember though that SEO takes time. It is advisable, therefore, to employ multiple methods to generate more web traffic. However, you could always try buying traffic from vendors to generate website hits. You could buy traffic with Google’s and Yahoo’s pay-per-click program. What you do is determine and identify your target market’s possible keywords and bid for these words or phrases. This may be costly but it would generate hits. Of course, it doesn’t end there. You have to keep your customer’s interest with an interesting website to begin with. Number 2: Syndicate your site There are many websites that would allow feed burning. You would have to create Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds that would link your content and blog to other websites. Make sure that you are providing informative and interesting information in your blog, though. RSS feeds may increase website hits but they will not generate profit or sales leads, if in truth, your website is bland and boring Number 3: Create useful, informative and interesting article content Again, it doesn’t matter if your website is generating thousands of hits. It also doesn’t matter if suddenly, your website is generating more traffic than you could handle. What is really important is that you are earning profit out of this traffic. You need to provide your prospective customers with quality web content. The content should be responsive to their need. Write as many articles as you can or hire someone to write them for you if you want. You must provide your customers information on how to solve their problems. Keep your articles fresh, updated and relevant to your customer’s needs or problems.

3 Ways to get fresh content for your site with little money or effort

When you run a website you are always looking for fresh content you can add to both keep the visitors to your site and the search engines happy. In an ideal world you’d be writing all this great content, but we don’t live in an ideal world, do we? You may have a day job, other tasks on your website to tend to and maybe even own several websites that all need to be updated with new content on a regular basis. On top of that you’d like to occasionally spend some time with family and friends. If only there was a cost-effective way to get fresh content to your site without having to spend either a lot of time or a lot of money. Well, there is… and not only one way, but 3 ways to get fresh content for your website. Reprint Articles The easiest and cheapest way to get fresh content for your site is to use reprint articles. You can go to any of the big article directories like ezinearticles, goarticles or isnare and search for articles on just about any topic. There are two downsides to using this content though: You have to provide a resource box with a link back to the article writer’s site – which of course is only fair, since they did all the work. The other one is that the same article can literally be picked up by thousands of other webmasters. One way to work around this is to contact the author of the article and see if he or she would be interested in writing and exclusive article for your site. If you offer them a good link back, many of them will be happy to oblige. Public Domain Works The second option is to find texts and ebooks that are in the public domain. You could for example look for a public domain book on the topic of your website and split it up individual pages for your website. Gutenberg. org is a great place to start your search for public domain work. A word of caution… Do your own research to make sure any so-called public domain document is actually in the public domain; otherwise you could get yourself easily into trouble by involuntarily breaking copyright laws. On the plus side, you can add the public domain content to your website without having to credit or link back to anyone. Private Label Articles The last option that I would like to share with you is private label articles. Private label articles are written and then they are sold to a limited amount of people for their own use on their websites, blogs, newsletters and info products. Private label articles can be changed, the buyer can claim ownership and pretty much treat it like any article he has written himself. Since these articles are sold to more than one person, they are much cheaper than buying ghostwritten articles. They almost always cost you well under a dollar per articles and often just pennies apiece. Private label articles can be found on PLR membership sites, websites that specialize in selling individual article packs and even on eBay. Of course not all PLR sites and packages are created equal. Some provide quality content, while others could have been written by a third grader. Do you research before you buy and make sure there is some sort of a money back guarantee if the quality doesn’t meet your standard.

3 Ways to promote your website promotions

Website promotions are some of the easiest and cost effective ways to promote your business. There are many ways to do this and bring quality traffic to your site. Always remember that your website is like your storefront. Before you start your promotions, be sure that your website looks professional. It should also have good interesting content that your visitors will enjoy. A good sales letter is vital to your business success. It should also have an informative page and a form to contact you. One of the first website promotions you will do is submit your site to the search engines. To do this you should: Write some interesting website content that is optimized. Write a variety of articles on different aspects of your business. Include product reviews as these are very popular and will help you to sell your products. Optimizing means making your content keyword rich but not stuffed. To do this, you must do your keyword research for your business. You can do this at goodkeywords Insert Meta tags into your HTML: Nowadays, a good title and descriptive Meta tags are what counts. These are just small pieces of HTML that guide the search engine bots and give them information to take back to their databases for indexing purposes. Submit your site: The biggest search engines are Google, Yahoo, and MSN. You have to pay to submit to Yahoo now, but the other 2 are free. Once you build back your links, it is very likely that you will find your website in Yahoo without having to pay for it. When you submit to these 3 search engines, you do not really have to submit to any other ones. Google is the biggest, Yahoo comes second, and MSN is third in size and effectiveness. It is good to aim for the top 10 positions or first page of these search engines. The second thing to do is to set up a blog. A blog is a small diary written on a daily basis. Write short interesting blogs that your visitors will enjoy. Always remember to make one link that goes back to your content pages. This can be a new article or a brand new product. This can be done on blogspot. This site belongs to Google and is regularly crawled by their Google bots. This means that the bots will follow your links and find your pages of content at your site. You can get new content indexed within 48 hours in this way. Article distribution is easy and very powerful. Again, you can write some good articles on different subjects which will attract different segments of your niche market. Use a service or software to distribute them. Grant reprint rights to your entire article web content and also the ones that you distribute. Remember to use a few bios to target the right audience. As well as bringing warm, ready to buy visitors with article distribution, you will also accumulate valuable back links. These will help you to get a better position in the search engines.

3 Ways to start a real home based business

There are thousands of home based business opportunities on the Internet. They promise you a lot of hype, but very few of them can deliver. The truth is, that like anything else in life, you’ve got to put serious work and time into a home based business. Anyone that tells you otherwise is only out to get your money. But there is a way to be in business for yourself and it doesn’t have to take an eternity to do it. The most obvious way to short cut the learning curve of getting into a home based business for yourself is to copy what others are doing that are already in business. A kit or DVD or ebook by itself can be a huge stepping stone to helping you start a home based business, but in order to keep it going, you’ve got to dig deeper than just that. So how do you start a home based business? Here are 3 key elements; 1. Figure out what kind of business you want. It needs to be something you can find joy in doing. If you absolutely hate the work you’re going to be doing in your new business or if it’s boring, it’s going to be very hard to get it running and making you a profit. Do something that’s fun! 2. Keep it simple. For starters, keep your plan and business simple, and then add upon it as you progress. There are all kinds of businesses that you can start, but are they simple to implement? Can you start it today? 3. Start from where you are now. Whatever business you want to start, see if you can start that business from your current job now. For example, if you’re wanting to start a cleaning business, you could begin to offer your employer cleaning services. You can also offer cleaning services to the vendors that provide products and services to your employer. These are just basic guidelines to help you in getting into your own home based business. At some point, you will need to inform yourself on how to start. But you need to be balanced and know that no matter what kind of ebook or kit you purchase, you are the key ingredient to success. You will need to consistently work at it until you’ve got it up and running. You may be asking yourself what kind of home based business is simple and quick to start without a lot of muss or fuss? One of easiest and most lucrative businesses is the cleaning business. Believe it or not, every business needs cleaning. And they will pay you good money to do it. Best of all, cleaning doesn’t require fancy equipment or university degrees. You probably already have most of the tools you’d need to clean a basic office in your home right now! The good thing about an office cleaning business is that you can get started with a basic vacuum cleaner, broom, Windex, trash bags, mop and a few cleaning fluids.

3 Ways you can generate cash using google adsense

In many webmaster forums, you are likely to come across this question: "How can I make money with Google Adsense?" Google Adsense is arguably the most popular pay-per-click advertising program today. Many webmasters are earning considerable money by displaying Google Adsense on their sites. Yes, it is very possible to make money with Google Adsense. There are several effective and proven ways you can do this. The best part is that they are not complicated ways; they are in fact very simple and easy to implement. Of course, exactly how much you make from Google Adsense largely depends on how much effort you put into your sites. Don't fall into believing that you can make money from Google Adsense overnight. Like other types of work, you need to spend time as well as have the commitment and perseverance. With all that said, you will learn three effective ways you can generate cash with Google Adsense -- through niche sites, forums and blogs. Niche Sites: Targeted Market Equals Targeted and Higher Adsense Clicks The word "niche" is today's buzz word. A niche is a specific market you want to focus on. If you are in the antique business, exactly what kind of antique do you deal with? Are you in the antique furniture business? antique dolls? antique cars? That's your niche. Niche websites are sites that are focused on very specific markets or audience. Instead of a broad category, you narrow down into a target market or audience. For instance, a guitar website can be further made specific and focus on Fender Stratocaster guitars. People who are into Fender Stratocaster guitars are your target audience. Google Adsense ads that appear on this particular niche website appeal to your target audience and visitors. By being specific, you can generate higher clicks to your Google Adsense, which translate to higher Google Adsense earnings. If you want to maximize your Google Adsense earnings, put up several niche websites instead of one website devoted to a broad category or topic. Instead of putting up a website about cars, put up several small websites focused on car repairs, care restoration, antique cars and such. By narrowing down your website's focus, you can attract targeted visitors who are likely to click on your Google Adsense ads. Forums: Placing Google Adsense Ads that Stand Out Do you run a highly active forum or online discussion board? If your forum receives a lot of traffic and has many members who regularly participate in online discussions, you can monetize your forum pages by inserting Google Adsense in them. While forum users are known to be "ad blind", you can insert Google Adsense codes smartly. For instance, you can make your Google Adsense ads stand out by using very bright colors. On niche sites, it is recommended that your Google Adsense ads blend in with the site. In online forums, however, you can make money with Google Adsense by making the ads stand out. You can also make Google Adsense appear after a certain number of posts. Many forum owners have discovered that Google Adsense ads placed at the bottom of the last post on every page generates a lot of clicks. Blogs: Easy to Monetize with Google Adsense Today, many are able to establish an online presence and have their voices heard. They do this by creating and maintaining their own blogs. In the last two years alone, literally hundreds of thousands of blogs have cropped up. Blog software like Wordpress and blog networks like Blogger make it easy for anyone, even the least techie, to set up his or her own blog and make money from it. There are bloggers who are reportedly making four-, five - and six-figure yearly income just by placing Google Adsense on their blogs. Since Blogger is owned by Google, people with blogs on Blogger can easily integrate Google Adsense into their account. Even if you don't have an account with Blogger, you can still make money displaying Google Adsense ads on Wordpress-powered blogs hosted on your server or third-party host. Blog software like Wordpress have Google Adsense plugins. This means you can easily insert Google Adsense ad codes in your blog posts with just a click of a button. To make the most out of your Google Adsense ads, it is recommended that you place a Google Adsense unit after each of your blog posts. If you are posting a long article, consider placing a Google Adsense unite in the middle of the article. And if you technically inclined (or you aren't afraid of a challenge), you can insert Google Adsense codes into your blog template. Do it this way and your Google Adsense ads will display on all your blog pages. There you have it -- three ways you can generate cash from Google Adsense. Niche sites, forums and blogs are only three of the many ways you can make money from Google Adsense. If you are new online, start with a blog. Create an account on Blogger and test out the waters. As you become comfortable and acquire more technical skills, you can advance to creating niche sites and starting your own online forums and monetizing with Google Adsense.

3Rd edtion new ground in online money making strategies

Joel Comm, the Internet Marketing guru, has developed and refined one of today’s most well-known and revolutionary industry books, ‘What Google Never Told You About: Making Money with AdSense’. In his highly sought-after third edition, fully beefed up, updated with the latest techniques and expanded to include even more money-making AdSense techniques than ever before, Comm gives us the architecture and toolbox every to-be online entrepreneur and Internet Marketer requires to truly prosper. He begins his book with the basics, a refresher course for more experienced AdSense users and an outstanding core foundation for those just beginning. He speaks clearly and understandably, avoiding highly technical jargon and defining terms in the books comprehensive glossary. He explores techniques anyone can use to launch an unlimited stream of cash with no money down, no experience, no inventory and minimal time investment. Readers acquire a thorough understanding of website development, profitable domain naming, web hosting, content creation and search engine optimization. In his book, Comm also demystifies the lucrative world of blogging and how anyone can use this new medium to make money working from their home, office or abroad. He explains, in easy to understand language, the secrets to profits, what makes some websites sell and others falter right down to fine details like the colors and link locations on a page. In addition to offering guidance on what you should do, Comm also explores frequent pitfalls and mistakes both new AdSense users and seasoned professionals need to know. He discloses the biggest (and often costly) mistakes AdSense publishers fall into, along with practical ways to avoid them. His techniques, followed step-by-step, can help anyone earn significant advertising revenue online. Comm leaves some of the most powerful information geared toward established AdSense Internet Marketers for his chapter on troubleshooting. This chapter dispels the myths and sheds light on common obstacles faced in ad publishing. Through years of experience, Comm is able to rectify why publishers might be getting low revenues, traffic levels, clickthrough rates and click prices. He shows why too many public service ads may be running through your ad stream and why ads may have a low relevance to your page. Each chapter, page and lesson is powerful as a whole or individually as a reference.

4 Deadly mistakes home business owners must avoid

We're all part of a very special group, us entrepreneurs. Yet, we don't all enjoy the same level of success. Why is that? We'd like to believe that the rich and successful have secrets that they're keeping from us, and if only we knew them, or fortunes would be transformed! Well, there is no magic secret. Sorry. It all has to do with discipline and following a system. With that said, there are some very common mistakes that people make in the day to day functions of their business. These mistakes doom them to a life of mediocrity. They choke the life out of the efforts. Below are four of the most common: Not Scheduling The apparent freedom that comes with working from home can be a double edged sword, especially if you're just breaking free from the shackles of the corporate world. Unfortunately, whether you're working from someone else or working for yourself, you must have a schedule. Time is the scarcest of commodities, and you must treat it as such. It is the most valuable thing you'll ever have to manage, it is priceless. If you allow yourself to just 'figure it out' each day when you wake up, you'll never get anything done. If you're honest with yourself, you'll realize this. With no scheduling and planning, you don't know what you're working towards and you don't know what you're accomplishing. Most likely, you'll end up spending most of your time doing tasks that do nothing for the growth (money) of your business. Tasks such as filing, cleaning your workspace, bills, calling customer service for that issue that 'has to be taken care of today'. True, all these tasks are in some respect important. But they fall under the category of 'Operations'. They do nothing for your bottom line, and therefore should be relegated to either someone else to do, or to a block of time where they are addressed together and quickly. Pick a day during the week – I use Sunday evening – and every week sit down for 20 or 30 minutes and plan out that upcoming week. Based on the goals and stepping stones you have set for your business, what needs to be done this coming week to reach your 1 month goals, 3 month goal, 1 year goal? If you have this process in place, your business will run smoothly. Also take this opportunity to look at the week passed and to review it. Not Prospecting For most businesses, you have to prospect. Just because you're now working at home does not mean that you do not have to associate with the outside world anymore! Quite the opposite – the very existence and success of your business depends on it! I have my own preferred methods of prospecting, but I won't get into that here. There are various methods to use: be it cold-calling, search engine marketing, email marketing, offline marketing, etc. You have to do your homework and pick a mix of marketing methods that will supply you with prospects. Then you have to prospect them. You need to take the time to learn and refine your communication and prospecting skills. It is an art and skill to be able to prospect and close someone effectively. Learn this, or your business will suffer. Momentum – Not Running Through the Finish Line So you now have goals and schedule – great. But what do you do when you reach a goal, especially at the beginning stages of your business? You absolutely should celebrate your successes, no matter how small – but then get back to work! Watch a race, any race. It could be swimming, running, motorcycles, or car racing. How do these people finish the race? Do they race to the finish line, or do they go full speed right through it? Treat your business the same way. One mistake I see too many people do is celebrate and relax too much at every little sign of progress. Give yourself a pat on the back and a smile and keep going. Building momentum is so key to making things happen in business. Every time you stop, you kill any momentum you have built and you have to start over. Keep refining your goals and adding to them so there is always a next step. Don't kill your momentum. Make sure you run through the finish line. Marketing – Not Enough Of It! Ah, the big one. Let's put it very simply: If no one buys from you, you have no income. If no one knows your business exists, then no one can buy from you. If you do not market, then no one knows your business exists. Therefore, if you do not market your business, you have no income. Agreed? If you don't like marketing – start liking it. There are so many ways to do it, find a few that you enjoy and make it fun. The fact is, the majority of your time should be spent MARKETING. At least 60% of your time, if not 80% should be spent marketing. Go through your typical day and think about what you spend time doing. How much do you spend marketing? If you're like most people, you probably spend less then 20% of your time marketing. Therefore if you're like most people, you're not making any money with your business and like most people, your business will fail. Get the word out! Find the people that already want what you have, and get in front of them. There is not a lack of ways to do this, so get out there and learn and MARKET. Agreed? If you need ideas or you're struggling with this, just get in touch with me and I'll help you out – that's not a problem. Just get out there and Market Your Business. To Your Success

4 Factors in choosing a hosting company web hosting

When poll a lacework hosting company skillful are a whole-hog covey of contrastive factors that should pursuit regard your verdict making process. One of the biggest factors should be: 1) Phone support. Email sustain is nice, but email occasionally deluge in between the virtual cracks. Getting someone on the phone when your venue goes left can share a congregation of question out of the unabbreviated process. A cartel of the preferable web hosting companies offer toll free support and weekend hours to boot. Phone support is a great benefit for any web hosting client. 2) Another aspect to perk in deciding whether to gravy train a fixed lacework hosting corporation is their history. How decided has this matter been in business? Web hosting companies that have been in patience for less than a year knack not be the best choice. A hosting company with a proven track record and a ton of happy clients is certainly a good sign and might work well for you. 3) How about the company's software? This varies widely between lacework hosting companies. I am quite familiar of Cpanel merely due to I am used to it, presume where the buttons are and what the drift do. It's indeed easier to baton with exceptional you feel certain than switching to a new User Interface. Some web hosts offer Frontpage features and others don't. Another specific area you might want to research are the statistics programs. What sort of web statistics software is included with your web hosting account? Is Awstats included? This is one area you definitely want to heavily research before signing up. 4) Fees. I'd reasonably finances a smooth supplementary to execute all the make-up than altercation it out with a sub par lacework hosting establishment who I can't get if my site goes down. I've found decent web hosting for as cheap as $4 per month but generally pay around $15 per month if I want all the bells and whistles that I'll need to host a larger site. A lot of people worry about hosting fees, but I've had the experience that I generally get what I pay for. Finally, I'd look carefully at the web hosting company's refund policy. Most offer a full refund if you aren't happy with your service. If you are paying for a full year of web hosting up front, you might want to examine the company's refund policy in detail. You may mimic this recital on your website. We would be grateful a clasp siphon to our joint which has Vioxx articles and unique injury resources. This saga may not be contrasting and links should be kept live. Thanks.

4 Keys to get website traffic for your mlm business

If you have been marketing your MLM business online for any while, you must probably realize the importance of linking your website to others of similar content to get quality website traffic. This strategy for generating website traffic can help the search engines, particularly Google to determine the importance of your website and therefore assign the proper page rank to you. The higher the page rank, the more website traffic you will get. It used to be that the more links, the better, leading to higher website traffic. When Google changed their algorithms a few years ago, however, the sheer number of links because less important for website traffic than the quality and relevance. Many network marketers have one or more replicated affiliate sites they market. Getting quality website traffic that will convert to sign ups and sales is a common challenge in this case. There are many tools available for automatically building links to your website. Link exchange directories are a good tool to get more website traffic. Here are four methods to drive website traffic to your affiliate site: Post Articles Publishing and posting articles is one of the most effective ways to create organic website traffic. This gives you an advantage as it gets incoming links to your website. Well written articles bring more website traffic for a long time because they stay on the internet for a long time. Optimize Your Website Search engines will examine both the internal and external profile of your website to designate a rank to a web page. Internal profile of a website includes usage of meta tags, heading tags, keywords, targeted content, and internal linking of website. External profile of your website defines thewebsites that are linking to your website. Replicated MLM websites are typically optimized for the most frequently searched keyword phrases specific to a certain target market. Anchor Text Anchor Text refers to the clickable text of a hyperlink. Anchor Text can have a big impact on target website traffic as well as the search engine rankings. Anchor Text lets the search engines know the content of the web page it links to. The right Anchor Text improves your website's search engine ranking. A good way to set up anchor text for an affiliate site is to purchase a redirect url and then put the anchor text using the correct keyword in that url. Tools Website tools can make your website user friendly, getting you more website traffic. New scripts and innovative schemes for the visitor help you get more inward links. This in turn builds more website traffic. You can offer free e-books, or introduce new exciting sections relevant to your website. This will make your website enticing for the visitors. Getting more website traffic for your MLM business is a critical activity that can make or break your online marketing. Learning and consistently using a few simple but powerful methods will drive that website traffic that will convert to sign ups and sales.

4 Most common web site templates mistakes

Using a web site template right out of the box is a very common mistake new web designer’s make. One of the cool things about the web is that it’s so visual. Using a web site design template can save any new web developer a lot of time and effort. But like any tool, you can get into trouble if you don’t pay attention. Color combinations, layout, and graphics are the key design elements in any web site template. Each web site should be designed around the subject matter, ease of use, and accomplish any special goals or end result. A lot of new web site designers get lost in the visual effects, which can have negative effects on user friendliness and search engine optimization. If you look at some of the most popular web sites, the common element is simplicity and ease of navigation. There are few dancing bears, flash intros, or exploding special effects. And almost everyone has text navigation for the most part. They may have some very well designed graphics, and a few design elements but keep it simple for the user. User friendliness and easy navigation should adhere to the two-click rule. This is a simple rule that implies any user should be able to find what they want on any given web site in two clicks. With the short attention span and impatient attitude of most surfers, you need to give them what they want fast. You normally only have about 5 seconds to grab their attention. I use templates a lot to save time and effort on a new design. Some I’ve developed myself, some I’ve bought that give me at least a 70% solution. They may have some graphics that go with my subject matter and/or some colors and layout that suit my purpose for the web site. But they also may be missing some key elements. Most web site templates have great visual effects and good color combinations. But many lack several important elements for both users and our friends the search engines. Here’s a list of common mistakes I see all the time when a web designer uses a web site template. 1. Navigation – Menu issues 2. No Sitemap 3. Ignoring the fold position 4. No H1 or H2 designated headline and sub headlines Graphic, pull down, popup or other methods of displaying menus can look good but sometimes confuse the user and are invisible to the search engine bots. These are two good reasons to use a text menu somewhere that show all necessary navigation links. Sitemaps are important for the same reason as above. Both users and search engines can see a snapshot of everything on your web site and get to it quickly. This improves your chances to get indexed quickly and gives the user that two click ability. The fold position is where the bottom of the monitor breaks off the view of the page. All important information should be displayed above that line if at all possible. Don’t make the user scroll if it’s not necessary. Any navigation, special links, attention getters, or critical information should always display above the fold line. H1 and H2 designate important info to the search engine bot. A common good search engine optimization is to put your keywords in the first headline that the user sees. Of course the headline should also induce the reader to continue to read the web page. It’s pretty easy to fix all these issues during the initial design stage. Even though I’ve created 100’s of web sites I still use a checklist. The devils in the details and everything you can do to make it easy for the user and the search engines, the more successful your web site will be. A web site template can be a big time saver but you need to insure that the end result has all the necessary features both users and the search engines. Make your web site both user and search engine friendly by making these small changes or additions.
