: Many people try to use the Law of Attraction to build a life that is truly worthy of them. They become frustrated at their lack of progress simply because they have gotten the order of manifestation wrong. Don't fall into the same trap. Learn that you must first Be what you want, then Do what you is necessary to achieve it, so that you can Have your desire. One of the biggest problems people find when they try to use the Law of Attraction for the first time is resistance from the outside world. It seems that no matter what they do the world pushes against them. It appears that the harder they strive for their desires the more the world pushes back. They then fall into the trap of blaming the world for their woes or even blaming God. This is a disastrous mindset to have if you wish to successfully and consciously employ the Law of Attraction to your advantage. Mahatma Ghandi, the great Indian leader who peacefully freed his country from British rule, told his followers, "become the change you want to see in the world." These words are just as true today as they were when this wise man walked the planet. In order to have what you want you must be willing to do what is necessary to achieve it and this can only be achieved when you become the very thing you want! Let me explain this in a little more detail. The Law of Attraction can bring you anything and everything you want. In fact, anything you can hold in mind can be yours if you follow the rules of this Universal Law. Trying to change other people or change the world is the wrong approach to achieving your dreams. You must change yourself. By holding in mind the things you want and believing that it is truly possible for you to have them you will immediately begin to attract them. However, if you wish to change the world or other people you are holding in mind the very things you do not want. You are affirming to yourself that things are not OK the way they are and that the people and environment around you is a certain way ' the way you don't want it to be. The Law of Attraction immediately kicks in and you begin to attract more of those things. By allowing the world and other people to be fine the way they are you will begin to embrace the moment and unleash your true power to create. You cannot change the world and you cannot change others but you can change yourself. This is where your true power lies. When you change yourself internally the world around you begins to change as you start to attract people, circumstances, situations and physical objects that reflect your changed beliefs, attitude, thoughts and feelings. This is why it is important to hold on to an attitude of gratitude for the things you already have. You can even be grateful for where you are in life right now, no matter how bad it is, because this is the launching platform for your new improved life. Start from where you are. Wherever you are in life it is the right place for you right now. Just be satisfied to begin from where you are and you will soon get to where you want to go. Once you have identified those things in life you wish to have, begin to think of them often. Imagine that you are already in possession of them. This is you becoming at one with your desire. Once you can hold your desire in mind and see, feel and accept that you are in possession of it you have become your future vision. This is Being your desire. Look at children they are excellent at this. It is a natural state of mind and not as hard to achieve as you may imagine. Just allow yourself to do it. Have fun and play with your internal vision. Enjoy it! Be flexible enough to allow the Universe to deliver these things to you as it sees fit. However, some action is required! The Bible tells us that, "faith without works is dead", James 2:14-26. Be prepared to take some steps towards your goal. No matter how small or insignificant these steps are take at least some action everyday that will bring you closer to your desires. You will soon find that as you take even small steps towards your desires and stay true to your inner vision the Universe will rush to meet you. Coincidences will occur and you will find opportunities are presented to you. As long as you are generating positive emotions around your internal vision the action needed by you will be pleasure and feel natural. So remember, Be what you desire, Then Do what you have to in order to bring you closer to those desires and then you will Have everything you want!
Who has not watched intelligent, educated, good-hearted people unable to create the lives they desired, who eventually give up, consumed with despair and anger? They flail like gorillas on roller skates, with great strength, but no leverage at all. Why does this happen? One possible answer is that they had theories, models for everything around them in life, but no way to check the accuracy of their ideas. They failed to grasp that EVERYONE deletes information from their conscious input. It is simply impossible to take in all the data that streams past our senses. Note the recent experiments proving that those self-identified with either the political Right or Left can see the flaws in the other party’s arguments, but not in their own. This is typical of religious or gender bias as well. Men and women, Christian and Moslem, Believer and Atheist…all are vulnerable to this tendency. If we are to be successful salesmen, artists, leaders, teachers, or simply human beings, we must have a cosmology—a world view. But we must also have an epistemology—an understanding of the way we gather information, and a method to determine if our methods of gathering or correlation or extrapolation are accurate. Since experimentation with the outside world is often beyond us, the only laboratory we have to test our ideas is our own lives: our bodies, our careers, our relationships. To be certain, some aspects of these are beyond us as well, but we have infinitely greater control here than we have of events in the outside world, let alone events on the level of international politics. How can we address our customers’ needs if we don’t really understand human strength and frailty? How can a novelist create realistic characters if he indulges in massive self-deception? How can a parent or teacher help raise a child to maturity without actually maturing herself? How, in other words, can we be certain that we actually know what we think we know? Consider the possibility that we can increase the accuracy of our thoughts through examining our interactions with the three major aspects of our own lives: our bodies, our careers, and our relationships. 1) Body. Our bodies are created by our daily behaviors. They obey the laws of physics: the balance between calories in and calories out must be maintained. But our emotions get in the way. Yes, some people have slower metabolisms than others. Perfectly true. But that is simply a fact, much like the reality that some are born into poverty. While it is more difficult for those with disadvantages to reach success, there are countless examples of those who have done so, and if you wish to be happy in life, you should study what they did, and keep your mind tightly closed to the nay-sayers. You have NO obligation to match some culturally determined standard of beauty, but you SHOULD feel healthy, have the energy you desire, and match your own values. How can you know if you do? Strip down in front of a mirror. Do you find your own body attractive? If not, you have work to do—either physically, or emotionally. Probably both! 2) Career. We have to balance income with expenditure. It is possible to be happy (or content, or at peace) in any life situation. If you are miserable at work, then it is your responsibility to either make change, or to change your own attitude. We’ve all known people who waste their entire lives blaming their jobs, when it is their own lack of courage and emotional/creative flexibility that keeps them locked into a joyless existence. Our money flow is based upon many things, including the degree of service we provide for our communities, the self-respect that motivates us to demand what we are worth, and the intelligence and discipline with which we manage our finances. Creativity, empathy, determination, energy, honesty, risk-taking…all of these things factor in. One can either make more money, or develop the ability to find greater satisfaction within the current financial level. But without the ability to find peace and satisfaction here, much of the joy of life will elude you. 3) Relationships. The savage truth is that, in relationships, you can have anything you can afford. The coin is passion, health, intelligence, self-respect, and confidence. Men and women get into terrible trouble because they are attracted to people more attractive than themselves, and can’t be honest about it. Women complain that men want beauty, while men complain that women want power. Get over it. We’re wired up that way genetically, although the specific symbols of beauty and power vary across culture and time. The sooner you stop complaining about this immutable fact, the faster you’ll be able to make decisions about the level of beauty or power you are willing (or able) to manifest in your own life to get what you want. And no, it isn’t fair. No one said life is fair. But each gender seems to think that the other side has rigged the game to its advantage. In fact, the less successful a man or woman is in this arena, the less likely they are to grasp a central truth: if women were men, they’d behave like men. If men were women, they’d behave like women. Stop finger pointing, and get into the game! In each of these three arenas, there are painful truths we must face: human beings are wise, and good, and strong, and spiritual. Unfortunately we are also lazy, dishonest, confused, and childishly wish the world would simply recognize our genius and follow our advice. Why should the world, our customers, our audience, our children, listen to us when we cannot communicate honestly with ourselves? In the creation of fictional characters, often all one has to do is create a flaw in one of these three arenas, and then create a plot situation that will teach the character a lesson they need to heal. In the world of advertising, almost all products are sold with an appeal to one of these three areas: sex, power, or health. Fail to understand how human beings are driven by these needs: or how almost EVERYONE fails to balance in all three of them, and you will miss a primary motivation in human history. If we cannot understand or effectively communicate with our own psyches. What hope have we to effectively understand one another? Mastery is a road, not a location. We needn’t be millionaires with bodybuilder physiques married to movie stars with in order to progress toward clarity and power. But we must take responsibility. We must admit that we want health, and happiness, and love. And move with both discipline and joy toward a future we can cherish. What we learn along that road is the Truth of what we are. And the truth will set you free.
There is a guiding principle to dream interpretation, and Edgar Cayce said it best when he called for us to “interpret the dreamer” and not just the dream. Dreams are a tool, like the proverbial “finger pointing to the moon.” Don’t focus on the finger or you will miss out on all the heavenly glory. Dreams are the finger and they are pointing to the dreamer. Interpreting your dreams is an exercise in self-discovery and self-growth. They are almost always referring back to you and every character, image and emotion is usually referring to various parts of your psyche. The primary purpose of dreams is to attempt to balance the psyche. Keeping this in mind will help you understand the meaning of your dreams and prevent you from getting way off track in your interpretation. Trying to understand one dream in isolation is like trying to understand a person by spending one day with them. By recording all of your dreams in a dream journal you will, over time, find it easier to understand individual dreams you have in the future. Dreams are like plays or movies that we create every night, and they have a similar structure. It can be helpful to look for this structure when trying to understand your dreams: oEstablishment of a LOCATION. Where does the dream take place? How do you feel about that place? What emotions arise within you as you think about it? Does it have any relationship with a real place you know? oIntroduction of the CHARACTERS. Who are the characters? How are you presented? Who is the antagonist? How do you feel about each of those people (including the presentation of yourself), and how do they relate to parts of your own personality or to people you know? oHow does the PLOT unfold? There is usually a beginning (where the story is established and begins to build), a middle (where a crisis peaks), and an end (where the crisis get resolved – though sometimes dreams don’t provide the solution and end in the middle of the story because it is up to you to provide the resolution). Sometimes (rarely) dreams can be very literal and they are easy to understand. There is nothing wrong with asking whether the face value of the dream may have meaning for you. Most often, however, dreams are shrouded in symbolism that points beyond the literal image. They can be trying to communicate a very specific message that applies to your waking life, they may be merely trying to balance your emotional life or they may just be hinting at some thoughts or emotions in progress without any final resolution yet in mind. Dreams are often messages from our subconscious mind that are resisted by our conscious mind. For this reason, the subconscious often cloaks the message in symbols so the dream isn’t immediately rejected or simply avoided by the conscious mind. Unraveling these symbols can be very difficult, but also a lot of fun. It’s the ultimate mystery and the most elaborate puzzle, but the answer is always within you. Sometimes the answers are as simple as consulting a dream dictionary for the meaning of common symbols and archetypes. However, each person is different and has their individual “dream dictionary.” To make things even more interesting, your personal dream dictionary can change over time. Interpreting your dreams can provide you a life-long quest that goes way beyond the puzzle solving of the Da Vinci Code, but can also be much more rewarding.
Even if your life is perfect and everything is running like clock work, one day you still may get into trouble or there will be a problem that you will not be able to solve yourself. What you do is call a friend, a person whom you can always rely on. He will never betray you and your secrets, never lie, never deceive. Once you have no way out and problems seem to surround you like enemies, your mind goes blank and the only desire you have is to hide your head in the sand and pretend that you don’t hear or see what is going on. And than he comes, the rescuer, a fresh mind and a strong hand to pull you out to the surface and help you to face your problems. But does your friend correspond to that description? You are surrounded by a lot of people daily, who claim to be your friends. You spend much time with them thinking of them as friends. But when it comes to help or advice they all seem to disappear, to evaporate suddenly after leaving you with a thousand made up excuses. You feel deceived and have no idea of what to do. Then a thought dawns on you that in your phone book there is still a number of an old friend of yours that you haven’t seen for years now. You know that if you call him and ask for help, he’ll wake up in the middle of the night, lean you all his money, give shelter even he has a family of six to keep. He helped you out in high school studies, provided term paper help, covered your back when you had some of your crazy affairs and never complained when he had been getting in trouble for his help. Being good in writing custom term papers he always seemed to fail his work to try his best to do your work. But there is also strange thing you remember; you didn’t really appreciate all his efforts to help you. They were so numerous that you started to take them for granted and didn’t even pay attention to what had been done for you. It was so weird to see that somebody was ready to help you out of willingness to make your life better, that it was hard to believe that it was so. Than it was an inseparable part of your friendship. If you are a friend you have to give, do, make and so on. Friendship turned into an exploitation of a person who cares about you. Meanwhile you continue to have fun and relax with others and leave all the difficult things on your friend’s hands. Than suddenly you’ve stopped communicating. After all these years of true friendship your friend disappeared and there was no sign of him for a long time. “Oh well, that wasn’t a big loss”, you think, and continue to live not even trying to find out what has happened. And now you are making a poor show every time you try to improve the situation. There is nobody beside you and you burst into curses, thinking about liars that surround you now. You dial a number of an old friend with shaking hand and pray for him to be there for you. You hear a familiar voice and start explaining, and ask to forgive at the same time. The situation goes back to normal. You feel that everything is going to be alright; your friend is coming to save the day. A minute later you sit in the kitchen drinking coffee and look in your friend’s wise worried eyes. At one moment you turn into a normal person from the idiot. Now you have your friend in your life again.
What is the meaning of life - and could you sum it up in 25 words? What if someone offered you $10,000 for your best description? The website themeaningoflife is running such a contest, and while it may be a marketing ploy, it's an astute one. Who isn't intrigued by this question? Who hasn't struggled to figure out his or her true purpose? Like Arthur Dent in A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, we wish the meaning of life could be reduced to one simple solution: in his case, "42." What if there are no meanings to life, except those we choose? As new-age gurus assert, "It's all made up, anyway!" Or, as religious doctrines proclaim, "Follow God's will for you. This is the true meaning of life." Between "any which way you want" and "His way or the highway (to hell)," many decisions must be made along the way. Even if we turn over some parts of our lives to leaders, religious or otherwise, other parts and decisions remain. What do you eat? What kind of work do you do? What about play and having fun? Marriage and relationships? How do you manage spending and saving? So many decisions, so little time! What are some of the guidelines for exploring and giving meaning to your life? How can you decide who and what you should be, and which principles will keep you on track? If you clearly understand where you want to be, you can make sure your actions each day bring you closer. Here are three key steps to exploring meaning in your life: 1. Examine your identity. Who are you? Self-awareness is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence, contributing more to your success in life than any other social competency. If you know yourself well, you can choose a path aligned with your strengths and weaknesses. You'll avoid distractions by people, places and things that are incongruent with your true self. 2. Define your values. What are your most fundamental beliefs? Identify three important moral values. The more clearly you define them, the more energy and focus you'll have to meet your goals. While the pursuit of power, wealth or fame motivates many people, these goals are external, filling deficiencies instead of addressing one's needs for growth and development. Seven groupings of values have been universally admired across cultures, religions and history: * Integrity * Generosity * Courage * Humility * Compassion * Loyalty * Perseverance 3. Answer these questions to define your true values: 1. What do you do at work that gives you great satisfaction? What would you continue to do if you weren't paid for it? 2. What three personal qualities others recognize in you? 3. Who are you when you're at your best? 4. What are the three most important lessons you've learned in life? 5. What would you like to see on your tombstone that best captures who you really were in your life? 6. Cite three small incidents that gave you great pleasure today. What about these events ignited your passion? Once you identify what truly matters to you, look at how you express these strengths and virtues in your daily life. Prioritize your values, distinguishing the top three to five that are most important to you today. Now, go write that 25-word statement about the meaning of life - and good luck in winning the $10,000 prize!
Infinite riches are all around you if you open your mental eyes and behold the treasure house of infinity within you. There is a gold mine within you from which you can extract everything you need to live life gloriously, joyously and abundantly. Many are sound asleep because they do not know about this gold mine of infinite intelligence and boundless love within themselves. Whatever you want, you can draw forth. A magnetised piece of steel will lift about ten times its own weight, and if you demagnetise this same piece of steel, it will not even lift a feather. Similarly, there are two types of people. There is the magnetised person who is full of confidence and faith. They know they are born to win and to succeed. Then, there is the type of person who is demagnetised. They are full of fears and doubts. Opportunities come, and they say, “I might fail; I might lose my money; people will laugh at me.” This type of person will not get very far in life because, if they are afraid to go forward, they will simply stay where they are. Become a magnetised person and live a successful life in all areas of life. You can bring into you life more power, more wealth, more health, more happiness and more joy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconscious mind. Within your subconscious mind depths lie infinite wisdom, infinite power and infinite supply of all that is necessary to live a life of abundance. Through the wisdom of your subconscious mind you can attract the ideal companion, as well as the right business associate or partner. It can provide you with all the money you need, and the financial freedom to be, to do and to go as you heart desires. The infinite intelligence within your subconscious mind can reveal to you everything you need to know at every moment of time and point of space provided you are open-minded and receptive. You can receive new thoughts and ideas enabling you to bring forth new inventions, make new discoveries, or write books and plays. Moreover, the infinite intelligence in your sub-conscious can impart to you wonderful kinds of knowledge of an original nature. It can reveal to you and open the way for perfect expression and true place in you life. It is your right to discover this inner world of thought, feeling, and power, of light, love and beauty. Though invisible, its forces are mighty. Within your subconscious mind you will find the solution for every problem, and the cause for every effect. Because you can draw out the hidden powers, you can come into actual possession of the power and wisdom necessary to move forward in abundance, security and joy.
Lisa came to the meeting ready to participate. She had some specific ideas that she wanted to share – ideas that she thought would help the team move forward on the problem they were discussing. The meeting got off to a good start and everyone was involved in the discussion. At what seemed like the appropriate time, Lisa shared her idea. People didn’t seem as enthused about it as she thought they might. So she talked a bit more about it, hoping they would understand. Some other people didn’t think her idea was quite on track with the discussion, but some others became more interested and asked questions about her idea and the issues that would surround it if it were implemented. Soon the facilitator suggested that Lisa’s idea was a good one, but that she was going to put her idea in the Issue Bin – so that we could get on with the meeting agenda – and that the group could get back to her idea later. Lisa’s heart sank. She’d seen this happen before. In the last company she worked for they called this Issue Bin thing a Parking Lot. Once your idea got put in the Parking Lot, it was gone forever. In fact, in her mind she’d quit calling it a Parking Lot and started calling it the Black Hole – a place where ideas go, never to be seen again. . . The Tool In case you’ve never been to a meeting where an Issue Bin or a Parking Lot is used, let me explain. Often groups or individuals will get off track – a new topic will come up or an idea will begin to be discussed that isn’t the main focus of the meeting, or might be better discussed later on. At that point whoever is facilitating the meeting would suggest that this topic or issue be placed in the Issue Bin. They would then go to a chart on the wall labeled Issue Bin and write a brief description of the issue so that the idea won’t be lost. In other words, the goal of this tool is to keep a group on track with their agenda. Beyond that though, the Issue Bin is a way to help a group “hold that thought” so that the idea isn’t lost – and can be discussed later when the time is right. The Misuse The most common misuse of this valuable tool is exactly what Lisa had experienced in her previous company. Facilitators put items into the Issue Bin or Parking Lot with no real plan to revisit them – they are using the Bin as a place to put stuff they don’t really want to talk about at all. Or, facilitators do have good intentions, but when the meeting runs long (how many meetings have you been to that didn’t go long?), and time is short, the Issue Bin item(s) get lost in the rush to finish the meeting. So, regardless of the intention or best-laid plans of the facilitator, the Parking Lot becomes a sham and a manipulation, never achieving the desired result of capturing the idea and holding it for later exploration. Given this, it is no surprise that the Lisa and people with a similar experience bring up their item again and again – because they are afraid the idea will get lost. The Best Use Think of an Issue Bin as TiVo for your meetings. If you have a TiVo connected to your TV you can easily record any television show and watch it later. This allows you to watch the show at a time more convenient for you and, much to the disappointment of advertisers, skip through the commercials easily so that the overall time spent in watching the show is reduced. Just like TiVo, a well used Issue Bin allows you “timeshift” an issue or idea to discuss it at the time most convenient or productive for the team. And just like TiVo may reduce your watching time, often when the issue is held for later, the ideas and actions discussed in the interim may reduce the amount of time or energy required to effectively discuss or explore the issue. It isn’t hard to use an Issue Bin effectively. It just requires a process and a bit of discipline. 1. Make sure that everyone knows the function of the Issue Bin. 2. Capture items to the Issue Bin as appropriate. 3. Schedule time in the agenda (typically 2-3 minutes is all that is required) to review the Issues near the end of the meeting. This review should answer three questions: Is this still an issue (or has it been resolved since it was placed in the Bin?) Is there an action item that can be created from this issue? If so, what is it? Is this a topic that needs to be on a future meeting agenda? 4. Don’t leave the Issue Bin until something is done with each issue. If nothing can be done with it at this time, consider saving the issue and having it reside on the Issue Bin at the start of your next meeting. The bottom line? Do something with every one of them! Taking this simple approach to using this tool will make your meetings run more productively and make sure that all of the best ideas and issues are both raised and considered. Just like any tool, it is wonderfully valuable when used correctly. And just like any other tool, it can be damaging and counterproductive when it isn’t. Back to Lisa Lisa was pleased at the end of the meeting that the facilitator asked the group what they should do with Lisa’s idea. The group decided it warranted more discussion – they encouraged Lisa to work on some aspects of the idea a bit and it was agreed that this would be the first agenda topic for the next meeting. From that day forward, Lisa felt more comfortable contributing to the team – and she now knew that the Issue Bin or Parking Lot or whatever you want to call it, didn’t have to be a Black Hole – that it could be a useful tool for any meeting.
Initially, enlightenment is living in the present moment and accepting your situation as it is. That is a pretty heavy task for anyone in any time. It is often said that an enlightened person cannot be angered by small talk or negative energy. Many people are humble and believe that they will never be enlightened in this life. They also believe: The goal of enlightenment is too vast for the average person to achieve. However, should you just give up? What can you do to attain enlightenment? You should meditate daily: This will help you connect to the world around you. This is an awareness of plants, animals, people and many things around you that are often not appreciated or overlooked. Meditation will enhance awareness of yourself, everything around you, and the connection between the two. This will bring out the ability to see reality as it is - with the ultimate goal of reaching a state of “pure consciousness.” Understand the value of prayer, mantras, and singing. Even if you only practice in your mind, this will strengthen positive energy within you. Many people resort to theses practices; to gain comfort in times of need. This is a shame because you can gain the positive benefits of prayer, mantras, and singing, any time. Remember, enlightenment is not a race: You would be shocked at the number of people who put pressure on themselves to be “instantly enlightened.” It is good to have goals in life, so creating a log to track your progress is a beneficial practice. Your log may track your meditation sessions, your ability to deal with, or diffuse, negative situations, your ability to create positive energy and project it to others, and your ability to see reality. If you continue the process of keeping and maintaining a log, your results will be encouraging. You may also want to join a group with compatible religious beliefs, search for a teacher, or share your practice with a friend on the same path. Lastly, do not be frustrated by uncertainty and learn to accept what you cannot control. If all humans could maintain enlightenment, we would experience world peace. We could all accept each other, despite differences of culture, nationality, color, sex, religious beliefs, or any other thing humans can find to develop a pre-conceived notion about each other.
I have a small poster on my wall, it reads...“What's the point in having dreams..... if you're not going to make them happen?” Many of us have ambitions and dreams that we never seem to act upon, there’s always something that gets in the way of making a start. So here you are again, seeing out the old year, along with its broken promises and failed, good intentions. Fresh with newly found conviction, you arrive at the New Year’s resolution, an annual triumph of hope over reality! Hope, that this time you will have the single mindedness to succeed, where last time you failed. So what’s going to make the difference this time? The way we think, stops us from realizing our dreams. How many people want to change their lives and believe that they can’t because of responsibilities? lack of confidence? low self esteem, or simply that they fear change itself? How we think and feel about ourselves is often the difference between happiness and success, or frustration and failure, therefore success and real lasting change only comes from changing the way we think. We are all products of our own thinking. So, every thought we think has an impact on us. We respond to our negative thoughts and to our positive thoughts. If you have a history of failing to live up to your own expectations, your memories are loaded with negative programming, sabotaging your chance of success even before you start. You may dream of winning the lottery as the means of realizing your ambitions and yes, you could win! But it’s down to chance and you have a better chance of flying to the moon, than of winning the lottery. Pinning your hopes and dreams to chance alone is admitting that you have no control over your future, but it doesn’t have to be that way at all. Making a real change to your life? Well that’s a dream you can, make happen! And you can start right here, right now. You don’t have to put up with being unfulfilled at work or in a relationship or with the direction that your life is taking. The very fact that you recognise this in yourself is a clear indicator that you have the capability to embrace change and realise your true potential, even if you can’t see how you will be able to achieve you r goals. Help is there for those who need it. You can change the way you think about yourself and your situation using hypnotherapy DVD’s. Many people struggle to maintain willpower. They feel that they need help and are often too embarrassed to admit to anyone that they have a problem. Now, many sufferers of low motivation and low confidence and self-esteem, are benefiting from hypnotherapy treatment, which can literally change peoples lives for the better. Your life will improve if you begin to believe in yourself and your abilities, you will feel respected, giving you that extra boost to increase motivation, and your enthusiasm will increase noticeably. Some people say it feels like magic because it is so easy to make powerful, lasting changes. Hypnotherapy simply allows you to access the resources you already have in your subconscious mind. Life is just about enjoying the moment, believing in yourself and your dreams. Desire to make changes is good. Taking action to start something is even better. Let’s assume that you’ve decided right now, to start making the changes in your life that you really want. If you have tried before and failed, you need a support structure put into place as quickly as possible, to help you to maintain your resolve and to keep your thought processes focused on your goals. A hypnotherapy DVD programme for home use can help you succeed. Life only comes once, it's quite short and you have to appreciate what's good in it. So try to get the most out of everything you do and begin to enjoy the ride! You’re starting the latest phase of your journey, and the future hasn't been written yet. Make next year, the year you make the dream happen. I have another little poster on the wall, it reads... I like cats .... they taste like chicken!! So far, I have failed to find any deeper meaning to this!
You have heard all about the Law of attraction. You’ve watched the DVDs, read the books and listened to the audios. You have visualized and affirmed your goals. Yet, still you have not realized your dreams. Isn't it time you decided once and for all that you deserve the life you have always wanted? Believe me when I tell you that you can have , be or do anything you can imagine. Wherever you are at this present moment you can be where you want to be sooner than you think. Let me show perfection behind the Law of Attraction. Let me show you how to create your dreams! Are you aware that a mere 2% of the world's population holds around ninety percent of the entire world's wealth? A mere 2% of our world's population openly admit that they have everything they want and are living their fantasy life. But how come only 2% of the population achieve their most worthy and desired goals? It probably wouldn't surprise you to learn that most of the 2% that have all the wealth are the same people who are also living out their fantasies (independent of money). They have perfect relationships, health and social lives. Is it that these favoured few are just born lucky? Is it simply their destiny to go through life with effortless opportunity after effortless opportunity while you are you destined to scramble about for the scraps from their table? These people create their own lives. They build a world that they love and enjoy spending time in it. They are creators. They create their own lives and carve out their own destinies. However, it is not only this small minority of the planet that can create their lives. Every one of us creates own life, everyone - without exception! There is a fundamental truth behind all reality. Do you want to know what it is? Good, let me tell you. The fundamental truth behind reality is this: Your thoughts are creative. Not some of your thoughts but all of your thoughts and you have, on average, 50,000 thoughts every day! What are your thoughts creating? The only difference between the creative 2% of our world’s population and the other 98% is how they think! They think differently from the rest of the world. It is through our thinking that we send out powerful vibrations that begin a process of manifestation that is governed by the Law of Attraction! What you think about, you bring about! The Law of Attraction an almost mystical concept for many of us and hard to believe for many more but it exists nevertheless and you ignore its eternal workings at your peril. Wake up! Whether you just want to play a bit with the concept, or you plan to become a fully conscious attractor of the life you want, you owe it to yourself to check it out! If this great law doesn't really exist then you have lost nothing and gained some new ways of finding out what doesn't work. If however, and you will assuredly find that this is true, you discover that it does exist and you can use it to attract whatever you want, you will have the keys to the Universe! Do you think it’s worth the risk and a little of your time to investigate this Law? We all know about those people who drift through their lives attracting opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. We all know someone who sits idly while things fall into their lap (usually, from our point of view, undeservedly) or those that have an unnerving knack for being in the right place at the right time. Do you understand that they have a certain quality that you do not? Do you know what it is? This characteristic or quality has been referred to by many names. Being in the 'flow' or being in the 'zone' are two of the most commonly used. It is the quality of being at ease in life and just allowing life to come to you rather than chasing after it all the time. They live lives that seem to be almost effortless and attract almost effortless opportunities. I know of people who believe it is just "the luck of the draw" and others who swear that it is a mathematical certainty that someone, somewhere has to be that lucky - they truly believe it is all just a matter of averages and from a population of six billion someone has to be born lucky. It may appear that these people are overly favoured by some omnipotent being or just by life at large. However, neither is true. It is only because these people think and also act in a different way than the rest of us do. They have made "luck" and "coincidence" a habit. The rest of us live with a mentality that believes life must be hard and anything worth achieving must come with sacrifices and struggle. It is a type of victim mentality that immediately sets the Law of Attraction into motion and brings us more life experiences that confirm our current belief! It is time you studied this Great Law of Attraction and come to understand exactly how it works. Don’t you think it’s time you put it to work in your own life and begin to create the life of your dreams?
One of the worst habits you can have is to be a perfectionist. Most people do not even realize that being a perfectionist leads to the horrible habit of procrastination - putting off the things that you know need to be done. The basis for procrastination is the fear that we will not do something properly so we decide not to start. If we don't start then we cannot fail. We think in our heads that we must complete a project but are afraid it will not be done correctly leading to failure or being completed late and unsatisfactory. This type of thinking leaves no middle ground; you are either perfect or a complete failure. People who think this way set them selves up for failure because very, I repeat very, few thinks are perfect in life. Striving to be perfect creates expectations, pressures and problems, which create enormous stress. This stress is so strong that being happy is almost impossible. One of the most damaging problems with being a perfectionist is the feeling of having to impress others. So much so that the perfectionist thinking holds them back from ever being able to break any old habits and being able to create the change they desire. You have to change your level of thinking. Accept that you and everything around you is not perfect. You will find yourself able to start projects with out being afraid. Be able to smile and not worry what others think about what you are doing. Not think to your self "I can't do it because I know it will come out bad, No body will like it. I just can't. "Or say "I'll just do it tomorrow, I have plenty of time." Perfectionists say these statements all the time. Don't fall into these traps. Enjoy life, smile and have fun. Do not let the things you have to do in life control you. Change your behavior today! It all starts with your mind set.
Actress Susan Saint James, in a TV interview after the terrible plane crash that claimed the life of her 14 year old son Teddy, and injured her husband, NBC Sports Chairman Dick Ebersol, and her son Charles, made the following brilliant statement: “Resentment is like taking poison and then expecting the other person to die.” Even in the face of her great loss, she is not angry, blaming, or resentful. Resentment and blame are poisons to the soul. They are far more harmful to you than to anyone else. Our ego/wounded self believes that if we blame and resent someone, we can somehow have control over that person or over the outcome of things. But what the resentment really does is pull us into the darkness of seeing ourselves as a victim. It’s very helpful to think of resentment as poisoning yourself while expecting the other to somehow be hurt by it. If you can think of anger, blame and resentment as poisons to the soul, perhaps this will make it easier to release these dark feelings. These feeling do not come out of nowhere. They are the result of your thoughts and beliefs. For example, if you have the thought, as Susan could have had, “God is punishing me,” you will likely see yourself as a victim and feel angry and resentful. But having this thought or belief does not make it a reality. The resulting resentment is actually Spirit’s way of letting you know that you are off track in your thinking. Thoughts that cause anger, fear, and resentment are thoughts that are being made up by the wounded self. They are not based on truth. The truth never causes anger and fear. The truth can certainly cause sadness and grief, such as the reality that Susan’s son is gone. But anger and resentment are not the same as sadness and grief. Anger and resentment are the result of blaming someone or something. Susan’s truth, which she stated in the interview, is that her son Teddy has ended one phase of his life and started another. Her faith in God as a loving source is sustaining her. Her belief that the soul does not die, but leaves when it is finished with what it needed to learn here, is making it possible for her to grieve without resentment. She is not allowing this great loss to poison her soul. The literal biblical translation of the word “sin” is “off the mark.” When our thinking and behavior are off the mark, we are “sinning” because we are not in truth. God is truth, love, peace, and joy. When we are not in love and truth, we are off the mark. Being off the mark in our thinking results in negativity – in anger, fear, anxiety, depression, resentment, blame. Negativity is harmful to the soul. This is a “sin” against ourselves. Our ego wounded self - which originates in the mind and is the part of us that wants control over getting love, avoiding pain, and feeling safe - constantly makes up thoughts that are off the mark. The ego is incapable of knowing what is true and what is not. It thinks it is wise and knowing, but in reality it is always “off the mark.” All the thoughts that come from the ego are based on the desire for control over others and outcomes. The desire to control is the opposite of the desire to love and be in truth, and is therefore off the mark. Truth does not originate in the mind. Truth comes into the mind from Spirit when we are open to learning about love and truth. Truth never creates resentment. Anger, resentment, anxiety, fear, depression – these feelings are signals that you are not in truth, that you are allowing your ego to have dominion over your soul. When you open your heart to learning the truth and learning what is loving to yourself and others, you will move out of the negative feelings and into the peace and joy that come from being in truth, even in the face of sadness and grief. Even in her grief, Susan Saint James’s face was filled with the light of truth. There was no darkness in her being as she shared her experience with us. Thank you, Susan, for your courage, love and faith. You have given us a great gift.
Affirmations are spoken statements that can be of a positive or negative nature. In the popular sense of the term they are spoken commands made purposefully in order to change some aspect of our life. In order to fully understand how affirmations work and the science behind their use we must first look at the way our minds work! When we are born our brains are like empty computers waiting to be fed information. As we grow our peers act as our programmers, they supply us with the knowledge which we channel through the conscious mind into the subconscious (our hard drive). The subconscious mind is the biggest hard drive ever developed - it stores everything we come in contact with and by no means is all of this information of a positive nature. All that we have heard, touched, smelt, tasted and seen are stored in the recesses of our minds. The subconscious mind holds on to this information until we need to recall it. For example when you were young your curiosity lead you to investigate your surroundings. When you approached a substance that was dangerous, such as fire, your parents or guardians would most likely have rebuked or scolded you if you ventured too near the flame. Perhaps you may even recall an incident when you were physically burned. Your subconscious mind then began to relate scolding (or pain) with the intense heat of the fire and would therefore feed the feelings of the scolding incident back to you whenever you got too close to fire again, thus acting as an early warning system. This is the mechanism used by our brains to learn. It is also the same method employed by the mind in every situation. The subconscious mind has a tendency to emulate what it sees - it tends to replicate its environment. This is why so many people find themselves in similar relationships and situations that they saw their parents in while they were growing up. Most people also hold very strongly or similar views of their parents. Think of a time when you gave yourself praise. What words did you use? Do you use the same words that your parents or peers used when they were praising you? The same is applicable when you scold yourself. Watch your internal dialogue. Look at it closely. It takes diligence to change the way you think. When you notice yourself thinking a negative chose to think the opposite. This way you neutralise the negative thought. Now the think the positive thought again! You have just reversed the negative thinking in that moment and remember you only have this moment. No other time exists! You are in the NOW. The whole point of affirmations is to convince the mind that what you are repeating is the truth. As you verbalize your desire you will find negative emotions and contrary statements entering your conscious awareness. You must deal with these negative thoughts as they arise in order for your affirmations to work! Many people use affirmations with EFT or the Sedona Method in order to eliminate the negativity that comes up as a result of affirming something that feels untrue. During your normal day daydream about what might be. Imagine things the way you wish them to be. If you catch yourself thinking "this is just a daydream - a fantasy" then stop! Think the opposite. It is not a daydream it is your reality. Now think it again. Release the resistance as it arises in whatever ay you can. If you just repeat affirmations with no feeling, or worse, feeling that it isn't true, then you are actually affirming the opposite in your own mind! This is why some people find their situations actually getting worse when they work with affirmations. You must release the resistance by creating the feeling that the affirmation is true. Bob Doyle goes into this approach indepth in his wealth beyond reason audio & video courses. I have found that affirmations will only work for me if I use EFT or the sedona method. By creating the feeling of 'having it now' while repeating your affirmation you will begin to retrain your subconscious mind to think positively and you will ultimately begin to consciously create a life that dreams are made of! : If you had the power of concentration whenever you wanted it, imagine how much more productive you could be. Good news! Not only can learn how to concentrate better, but you can do so right now. Concentration Power Is Automatic Start working on something, and concentration is automatic, until you are distracted. Usually these interruptions are your own thoughts, and they may come every few seconds. If there was nothing interfering, you would have easy and complete concentration. What you need is a method to remove the distractions, to control your wandering mind. Here it is: Start paying attention to what is going on in your head. Maybe there's a phone call you need to make, that has been quietly bothering you, just below consciousness. You could be worried about an upcoming meeting, or a family matter. Start tuning into your mind today, and it will become easier by tomorrow. Then, as you become aware of these stressors, do something with them to let them go for the moment. Make that phone call, or make a note about it, and your mind will usually let go of the concern for now. Do whatever you can quickly do to let these "mind irritation" go. Sometimes just telling yourself something like, "There is nothing I can do about this problem until Friday," will stop unconscious worrying. Do this exercise a few times, and you'll find it becomes easier to recognise what is just below the surface, irritating you and sapping your power of concentration. Set these mind irritations aside, and you will think more clearly. Why Concentration? Another simple technique is to honestly ask why you want to concentrate. Concentration is difficult if you're bored. A cure for this is to stop and consider why it's important, if it is. Answer the question, and visualize the benefits clearly, and it will be easier to focus your mind. Obvious Distractions I have read that Stephen King writes with loud music on. What distracts each of us, or doesn't, is obviously personal and somewhat unique. Do something about whatever it is that takes your mind away from the task at hand. Turn off the TV, feed your empty stomach, or turn your desk away from the window. When you take care of the external and the internal distractions, you'll be able to focus your attention and brain power like a spotlight. Watch a child building a sand castle sometime, and you'll see that the power of concentration really is natural.
For many years I heard that you had to start with a vision for your business or your life if you really wanted to succeed, but no one could explain to me why it was needed or how it worked from a practical or scientific standpoint. When I was young and naive, I was skeptical and wanted empirical evidence showing me why I should invest my thoughts and time into really thinking about a vision for my life and business, and why getting absolutely clear by writing it down was imperative to my achieving success. Even though I couldn’t find adequate answers at the time, reluctantly, I did as others suggested purely because they were far more successful than I. As I was told "don’t ask so many questions" and "just do it," I temporarily gave up my need for so many answers-but not for long. At the ripe young age of 21, I created a grand vision for my life and my career. Even though I had only graduated from high school, and everyone told me that you need a college degree to really succeed, I took a different approach and got into business at a very young age. For the next 26 years, I stayed on a healthy mental diet to train my brain, and followed the belief of allowing the universe to guide me and bring me whatever I needed to fulfill my visions of being financially free and living an extraordinary life. After building four multi-million dollar businesses-one of which grosses more than $5 billion a year in sales and having made millions of dollars for myself and others, I began to search for the answers to the question I’d had 25 years earlier. Why is having a clear and precise vision so important? I couldn’t help wanting to know why. As a child I was very curious and my parents could not answer many of the questions I had about success. After all, they only had a total of 5 years of school between them and had never made more than $30 thousand in a year. Since I wanted more for myself, I sought out the best minds, researchers, and teachers in the world to teach me how to have an abundant life in all areas. So, what did I learn that you can apply immediately and benefit from my lessons? Simple: without a clear and precise vision of exactly what it is you want, you’ll never reach it or have it. Now of course I will not leave you hanging without understanding why. My research has taken me into the world of quantum physics and neuroscience for the answer to the question "why is it so important to start with a vision?"
