With the intense competitionfor entry into America’s top schools, the college applicationessay is more important than ever. Although most students dread this assignment, it is the best way to distinguish yourself from other candidates, let the school get to know you, and add a personal touch to your application. Winning admission is about more than just GPA, class rank, and SAT scores. Universities are looking to build a student body with diverse talents, personality, and character. There is no better way to showcase these qualities than the collegeessay. The first step in writing a winning essay to understand what admission boards are really looking for. Many students mistakenly believe that there is a correct answer to the essay question–that colleges are expecting the student to espouse a particular point of view. However, the exact opposite is usually true. It is not so much what you say, but how you say it that matters. Is the writing original? Is the thesis well developed and logically supported? Is the writing grammatically correct and stylistically pleasing? These are the questions the essay reader is likely to have foremost in his/her mind. Every aspect of the essay will say something important about you. Show that you are an orderly and conscientious student by submitting a neatly typed (or a laser printer generated) document that exactly follows the essay requirements. Do not go over any limits placed on length or write on any topic that does not fit the assignment question or prompt. In general, it is best to keep your essay brief and to the point. Remember, it is not about how much you right, but how well you write. At all costs you must avoid appearing long-winded or superficial in your thesis. Readers can quickly spot an essay that was written simply to fulfill an admission requirement. Present a point of view that you truly believe in, and the sincerity and relevance of your thesis will come through. Do not be afraid to inject some humor or personal information into your essay. Of course, be careful not to go overboard. You want the reader to know something of your personality, but a vulgar joke or admitting something that should be kept private can make the reader rather uncomfortable. Just be sure to keep everything in good taste, and that overall the essay demonstrates your seriousness as a student. Instead of fearing the essay, consider it a great opportunity. This is your chance to show that your “A” in English was no fluke. Or even better, a well-crafted essay may help compensate for a disappointing score on the SAT verbal section. Most important, this is your best chance to distinguish yourself from the hundreds of other applications you are competing against for that exclusive spot in the college of your choice.

You are seriously aiming to apply to the college or business school of your choice. You have taken the required tests, and now, you are ready for the grueling application process. In particular, you need to pay attention to the College AdmissionEssay, or MBA essay as part of your application, since the college admissionessay or MBA essay allows you to explain certain weaknesses in your grades. Many colleges and universities still have reservations on admitting applicants whose school records contain grades that they consider low as per their standards. And this is your big dilemma. How to explain your low grades. This is where the College AdmissionEssay or MBA essay will play a vital role. In cases where you unfortunately received a bad grade, the best thing to do is to give a valid and genuine reason. Do not ignore it, but address it head on. In the college admissionessay or MBA essay you have the golden opportunity to explain your low grades and provide rational reasons on why these grades are not necessarily reflective on your potential as a student. Offer a specific example to explain your side of the issue. For instance, you can say that personal problems (sick family member or unexpected accident) kept you from focusing more on your studies. Just try to keep in mind that your aim in your explanation in the admissionessay or MBA essay is not to make excuses nor create tall tales to cover the fact that you have a low grade in one or two subject areas. The goal is to emphasize the reality that the bad grade was not because you failed to study but because circumstances were simply beyond your control. Make it a point to stress that it was just a temporary setback and that overall, your school record is still academically excellent, and that you are worthy of admission to the school of your choice. In fact, you may want to explain how such unexpected experiences actually made you into a better person, a more mature and understanding person, who now appreciates life more and is more driven than ever before. Your primary goal should be to convey to the reader that you are a better person as a result of your personal experiences, which in turn make you a better candidate for admission. Also, remember that different schools place different weights on test scores or grades and may emphasize your college admissionessay or MBA essay instead. Rather, they look more into your extracurricular activities since the approach of their program is the total development of an individual. In such cases, lower grades may not be as crucial in the admissions process, but you should still aim to explain them as best as you can, and doing so can best be done in the College AdmissionEssay or MBA essay.
College admissionessay example is a research paper that enables students to get an exhaustive appreciation of the paper that they are writing upon. The college curriculum requires that a student must put up a paper or an essay as part of a continuous assessment of college work. Thus, the student needs help to carefully research on the topic he or she has at hand, evidence to convince the readers and a manner to make the work appear scholastic. This is what it actually takes to write a paper used for seeking admission to college. An example paper has different capacities. These will all depend on the subject or discipline involved. This paper makes possible for the student to build up a mastery over the paper he has to write. An example of a college admission paper has some characteristics. There is a heading page, an introduction, a body and a conclusion. One thing noticeable with this type of example paper is that it is not written for submission. It is only a demonstration. Hence, a viewer should not fall into the temptation of copying this paper foronward presentation to an examiner. What is the rationale behind this paper? It has been observed that most students go into college with a complete reliance on the writing help they received in high school. You have experienced a change in academic status and your former writing style must give way to a new one. This type of paper should therefore tell you what college writing is all about. An example paper should be scholastic, that is, the topic should be educative and has something to investigate about, it should have a format forcollege papers and it should have something to enrich the academic world. Be careful to watch out for these aspects when you view example papers. That is what guides the admission committee. When you look at an example script, make sure that all the paragraphs have some relevance to the main and sub topics. How do you know this? The contents of this paper must be more than what you know in high school. You must make a differentiation between what you knew in high school and what you know about high school from what you think or know about college. If such a sample paper does not make this differentiation, then it cannot be relied upon as a guidance to write an admission paper. Also keep in mind that these papers are mostly available on the net and those that profess to give qualitative papers may never have a verifiable competence and experience to compose these papers. College admissionessay example should never be solely relied upon by students seeking for admissions into college. Every college or program has its own form of determining admittance for prospective students. Even through essay writings, there are still differences. While some colleges will require you to prepare an admission paper at home, some will prefer that such essay papers are done in the school premises and under certain conditions. This will of course be considered as timed writings and the setting under which you write will be similar to an examination setting.
Stressing the field of interest in post college admission essays

Many students often struggle in selecting a topic for their post college admissionessays, including MBA essays (or graduate school admissionessay) as part of the requirements in gaining admission to a school of their choice. In most cases, the school itself will present a topic(s) for the post college admissionessay which the student can expound on and this will become a good starting point or guideline for the post college admissionessay, including MBA essays. In many instances, however, the student is left to fend for himself, where the admissionessay questions posed are very general and open. In such cases, the applicant is left in the dark, not having an ounce of an idea on what to write about in his post college admissionessay, including MBA essays. In very simple terms, a post college admissionessay including MBA essays, should tell a basic picture of yourself. It should be able to present a clear and definite description of you as a person, including the things that you love to do, the things that make you laugh or cry, your experiences at home, at school, in your local church, fun and adventure with friends, basically the things that make you who you are at the present moment, which in turn convey to the reader (admission officer) why you are good candidate for admission to their graduate program. However, a very important aspect that should never be absent in any post college admissionessay including MBA essays, is a precise and detailed narrative of a candidate's academic experiences. More specifically, it should be able to express in genuine terms accounts of how the candidate was able to obtain good grades in certain subject areas that are considered as major subjects in the course he is taking up. At the same time, don’t avoid addressing weaker grades or negative marks. Face them head on and provide a good and logical explanation in the post college admissionessay, including MBA essays. Let us suppose, for example, that a student has finished his undergraduate studies in journalism and wants to take up a master degree in the same field with specialization in literary criticism. In his post college admissionessay, he can detail an experience in one college subject where the teacher asked them to produce three short stories by the end of the semester. Since literature has always been his favorite subject, the student was able to meet the requirement early and was even able to receive a high grade from his teacher at the end of the course. The sample given above is just one of the many ways by which a candidate can elaborate on the concept of presenting specific accounts on how he fared in his major field of concentration as expressed in his post college admissionessay, including MBA essays. Other related accounts can and should be given in post college admissionessays to better persuade admissions officials that the applicant is well-versed in his field and has the required ability to pursue higher learning in the same. Needless to say, a student's excellent grades on his major subjects denotes expertise and passion in his chosen field. It gives clear indications that the field he has decided to pursue is one that greatly interests him. As such, he is able to pour all his energy and efforts, and more so, his heart and soul into it, resulting in grades that are outstanding. Generally, this gives the admissions officer the feeling that the applicant is focused and driven to achieve in his chosen field of study. Focusing on your field of concentration as a topic in your post college admissionessay including MBA essays, is an effective way of convincing admissions officials that your application is worth giving due consideration because you showed focus and the desire to pursue your chosen field of study. More so, if in using such a topic in your post college admissionessay including MBA essays, you are able to show specific instances in one or two subjects wherein you were able to excel.

You may already be a collegestudent or just think about entering a one and you know how important one of the details may appear. The detail you intend to get acquainted with or have already gone through is a college admissionessay that is required in every respectable college you have always dreamed of. Serious competition and exceptional requirements are going to make your entering process really complicated. Therefore you should take care of things that are going to make you an outstanding candidate among the rivals. This can be achieved easily, though after the first mention it may seem quite hard. Writing of an outstanding, literate, ingenious college admissionessay is going to represent your uniqueness and skills. Your college applicationessay is going either to get you involved in university life you have always seen in your dreams or to leave you behind, like a ship leaves abandoned cargo. You can easily guess that your essay writing is a deciding point of your future and you have to take a closer look at the situation. Your aim is to show that you are a formed, established and interesting individual with a lot of skills and abilities. Your focus should not be concentrated on academic success; the admission committee already knows about them along with other details. Try to “sell” your extra curriculum achievements such as sport medals, art competitions, and music or acting contests and so on. There has to be something you did except having classes and learning materials. Depict your hobby or an important event in your life that will show you as a well-developed, intelligent, bright individual with a lot of interests and future plans. The only thing the committee is sometimes interested in is the contribution you can make to the family they tend to call a university and if you are a good candidate, you will be accepted into this family in no time. When expressing your opinion, be extremely attentive to the language you use. The story should be informative and great but what is the most important, your English should be perfect. Easy to comprehend expressions you use in every essay are extremely important in English essay. Reading your English essay, tutors examine your ability to state your thoughts and ideas clearly and in a good way. Try to persuade that your ability to explain and comprehend is close to perfection. There are a lot of synonymous expressions, exaggeratory sequences and other stylistic composites that make one’s essay unforgettable. Topics may vary and you may be given a topic you have never actually met. For instance: “investigate the difference between pure English and American spelling and the reasons of such” etc. one rule for an English essay stays the same for every essay, essay structure and format stay the same in the most cases. Every essay has an introduction the main body and conclusion; you shouldn’t forget about their obligatory presence in any written assignment of the present and many others to come.
Collegestudent credit card debt Credit card debt doesn’t shy away from anyone who doesn’t want to shy away from it. It treats everyone equally irrespective of whether the person is a seasoned professional or just a collegestudent. So collegestudent credit card debt isn’t uncommon either. Since the credit limit oncollegestudent credit cards is much lower, the collegestudent credit card debt cannot rise to the levels it does for other credit cards. However, collegestudent credit card debt is an even bigger menace because a lot of students are already in debt due to the loan they have taken for their education. If they pass out of college with collegestudent credit card debt, they will have to payback not just the loan they taken for studies but also their collegestudent credit card debt. Since most of the collegestudents are inexperienced in the usage of credit cards, they can easily fall prey to what we call as ‘collegestudent credit card debt’. In fact, collegestudent credit card debt is one reason why the credit card suppliers keep a lower credit limit oncollegestudent credit cards. The solutionfor avoiding collegestudent credit card debt is similar to what it is for avoidance of any type of credit card debt. So, the first thing for avoiding collegestudent credit card debt is to understand the concept that credit card is not free money and that whatever you pay-for using your credit card has to be paid back to the credit card supplier when your credit card bill arrives. So don’t treat credit card separate from hard cash. Avoid overspending e. g. do not buy things just because they are on sale, sales keep coming and going and there are always better offers each time; buy only those things that you really need. A good thing to do is to prepare your monthly budget and follow it religiously. Never budge from your budget. Another very important preventive measure for avoiding collegestudent credit card debt is to avoid going for a second credit card. Some students have a tendency to go for multiple credit cards just because the credit limit oncollegestudent credit cards is very low. However, this is a perfect recipe for getting into a collegestudent credit card debt. This is how collegestudent credit card debt builds up. One credit card is more than enough for any student. Collegestudent credit card is really meant to be treated like a training ground for learning more about credit cards. It should not be make an instrument of debt (collegestudent credit card debt).
The SAT may be the most important test a student will ever take. When it comes to determining college admissions and awarding scholarships, no single exam is more important. It has recently undergone some major changes, and every college-bound student must pay close attention to the new format. Partly because of criticism that the old SAT failed as a indicator of college success, the College Board (the makers of the test) have recast the assessment instead as a measure of achievement and college preparation. Its new name, the SAT Reasoning Test, reflects its new emphasis on critical thinking skills needed forcollege. The changes go far beyond the name. Overall, students are likely to find the new version more challenging than the old. The new SAT is 3 hours and 45 minutes long and is divided into three parts: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. Each section contains important revisions from the old version. In the Reading section, the much hated analogy questions have been removed. Instead, students will answer critical thinking questions on a series of passages, ranging in length from sentences to long passages. The Math section now includes Algebra II level problems, in addition to geometry and many other high school level problems. The College Board says that this is to keep pace with the ever more sophisticated high school curriculums, but many students are likely to be unprepared for such advanced work. The multiple choice section and the student response questions of the old version have not been removed. The Writing section will cover grammar usage as well as essay writing skills. Students are allowed 25 minutes for the essay. This may be one of the more worrisome changes forstudents. Anyone hoping to bluff their way through this part of the test will be disappointed. Two graders will read each essay, and judge it on how well the student’s thesis is developed and supported. Certainly, the addition of the essay makes the SAT a better measure of the skills needed forcollege level work, but this is a skill that many students just do not pick up from the standard English class. Clearly, the changes to the SAT make additional preparation, beyond regular course work, a necessity. The simple test taking techniques taught in so many tradition prep courses will no longer be adequate. Smart students will seek out prep courses that also offer tutoring on weak subjects, stress the fundamentals of writing good essays, and provide opportunities to take practice tests multiple times.
A fun college application essay will be remembered

There are lots of mind-boggling questions swirling around students' minds, as they hold their pen and wonder what to write for a piece of paper called College AdmissionEssay. Some of the questions that bother them are the following: what is the style of writing they should adopt for this specific kind of essay, what is the tone to use, and what topic to talk about. The students are really interested in knowing what the admission officers would like to read in a College ApplicationEssay. For them, hitting the bull's eye with their College ApplicationEssay will definitely increase their chances of admission to their desired university. Entrance to a top university is a tough competition that one has to outwit, outplay, and outlast everybody with their creatively written essay. Writing one's College AdmissionEssay is not the same as writing a research paper. This means that one's essay should not be formulaic as though one is just stating facts about oneself. There's a tendency for most admissionessays to be boring and lifeless if one writes it in the form of research paper. The moment that the admission officers discover that one's writing and essay is a complete drag, they are likely to miss the important details contained in the essay even though the credentials are excellent. The first thing an applicant has to remember is that Admission officers want the essay to be personal and imaginative. The next thing they have to take note of is how to write something personal without making it appear as a lifeless paper. The trick for this is to make the tone of the essay a conversational one. Since one is talking about his life, narrate it in a light humorous tone as though one is talking to another person like a friend. In this way, one will definitely get the focus and the hearts of the admission officers. People should freely express themselves. It is observed that the grammar is not given so much concern because the Admission officers are not reading an essay to find out if the applicant knows about subject-verb agreement. The applicationessays were created so that the Admission officers will know the applicant's attitude and outlook in life. The student's goals in writing their College AdmissionEssay should always be to make it memorable. The applicant should ensure that the readers will peruse the essay from beginning up to the end. One can use witty catch phrases as well as funny stories and jokes as a springboard to start introducing one's topic. Speaking of topics, it is best to stick with personal experiences rather than re-stating one's resume or academic transcripts. Admission Officers are on the prowl to find unique personalities that will blend with the school's standards and environment. They are after the authentic person behind the numbers and statistics i. e. grades. Another thing that the students have to remember in writing College ApplicationEssay is to be original and individual. This means that their writing should reflect the unique individual creature that they truly are. Being creative and imaginative does not really have to be fictional. One's admissionessay should be true, honest, and most importantly sincere. The Admission officers can go beyond the beautiful words and detect if it's true or not. Aside from that, Admission officers read thousands of essays, and they can't recall everything they read. Thus, it is the applicant's job to make a real impressionon the reader. Make your essay fun and exciting. Don't simply provide a lifeless detailed paper about yourself; instead show them colors and wonders of your personality.

College credit cards are the credit cards that have been specially designed forcollegestudents. College credit cards are more popularly known as student credit cards. College credit cards allow the students to experience the benefits of credit cards much earlier in their life. Through college credit cards, the collegestudents are able to learn more about credit cards and their use. In fact, for most of the students, their college credit card is their first credit card that acts as a gateway to the world of credit cards. Some other students might have previously used supplementary credit cards linked to their father’s credit card account; however, for such students too, their college credit card is the first one that is truly theirs. College credit cards are not very different from other types of credit cards in the basic sense; they function in the same way as any credit card would. However, there are some differences, which basically arise from the fact that college credit cards are used by people who have no prior experience with credit cards and who perhaps don’t understand the concept of credit cards completely. So, the credit card supplier is at risk with issuing credit cards (college credit cards) to such people whom he is not sure about. Most of the students don’t have a credit history either. In such a case, the supplier of college credit card cannot be sure of receiving the credit card bill payments in time (and even receiving them at all). To counter such risks, the supplier of college credit card requires the parent of the student to co-sign the college credit card applicationform as a guarantee. Moreover, the credit limit oncollege credit cards is generally around $500-$1000 per month, which is lower than what it is for other credit cards (this credit limit is generally sufficient to fulfill the typical needs of a student). Another risk mitigation instrument used by the college credit card suppliers is the interest rate or APR. The APR oncollege credit cards is generally higher than that for other credit cards. Again, this is done to dissuade the students from overspending on their college credit card (and finally not being able to pay their credit card bills). However, if we were to look at these impositions in a positive sense, we would find that these are actually in favor of the student (who is still getting trained to take on the real world of credit cards). Moreover, college credit cards also help the students in establishing a (good) credit history which is another important benefit that becomes handy when the student needs any type of loan at a later stage in his/her life. So, collegestudent credit cards are really something that every student should consider going for. As long as the cards are not misused, getting a credit card while still in college can be a very good learning experience.

Availing of student personal loans is on the increase these days, as the education costs have become too high to be managed by the student. Higher education is a costly affair; the student is left with no choice to go for a student personal loan to pay the expenses towards it. The responsibility of paying off the personal loan as soon as they start working is enormous, but to get a higher degree in education, the student has to go through such pains. It can be said that these days, students pass with a debt to be paid by them. There is a steep rise in the student personal loans. Hence, there is no need for the students to forego their dreams due to money shortage. There are many kinds of lenders who are waiting to provide a personal loan to students to take care of their monetary needs. Low interest student loans are very much available, if you do not find one, then you might be probably looking in a wrong place. Cheap student loans can be got from local banks, or from neighbors or friends and even Internet is a good source to locate one such loan. Once the loan is got, the student should aim at paying the installments properly on time, to avoid bad credit scores. A person who is planning to build up a good credit score can make use of this opportunity and get his credit score boosted up which can be used in the future. Difference between a federal student loan and a personal student loan: Personal student loans or other wise known as private student loans help the student to pay his college fees, stationary expenses, project expenses, hostel rent etc at much lower and competitive interest rates than the ones got through credit cards. The government gives the federal student loans to the student. They can be further more classified into subsidized collegestudent loans and unsubsidized collegestudent loans. If a student is given a subsidized collegestudent loan, the government pays the interest while the student is studying in the college. But, if the student is provided by an unsubsidized collegestudent loan, there is no interest free period and the student has to pay the principal amount along with the interest after completing the education. Not all the students qualify and are offered a student loan. Such students can avail personal student loans.
College loans are the most affordable option to pay for school. The two biggest benefits of college loans are: 1. Lower interest rates than other student loans 2. Repayment is postponed until you are out of school. Mainly there are two types of college loans. 1. Subsidized college loan: The government will pay the interest on the loan while you are in school and during deferment and grace periods. However, students must demonstrate their “financial need” to be eligible for a subsidized student loan. 2. Unsubsidized college loan: Student is responsible for all the interest, although payment is deferred until graduation. All students are eligible for the unsubsidized college Loan. Some reasons why college loans are best : 1. At present, interest rates are at an all-time low, i. e. 3.37%. In school rates are lower, at 2.77%. 2. No credit check or collateral is required. 3. No co-signers or guarantee fee required. 4. Flexible repayment and tax deductions options are available. 5. During your study at college, many eyes will evaluate your essay, many heads will be thinking about its content. And your aim is not to disappoint them, not to hand in just another ordinary essay. There are some fundamentals commonfor all the essays we want to share with you. Though it may appear too obvious to you, but please DO read the essay topic very attentively and thoughtfully. One of the most common mistakes I come across when checking the essays is misinterpretation of the topic. Some students stick off the point, others don’t answer the target problem of the essay. Avoid this mistake. Some tutors assign their own topics and very often they might be too abstract. Others offer the choice of the topic to the students, mentioning the necessary type of the essay (e. gparison/contrast essay comparison/contrast essay). In either case don’t despair! Your tutor wants you to demonstrate your abilities in thinking and your skills in committing them to paper. Impress him, because you can. Though essay excludes plagiarism, you can’t do with referring to useful literature. Read a lot, read diverse literature… Then you will put down all the sources into your reference list. It is a good thing to discuss your topic with someone. An ideal variant is your tutor, because he will give you useful advice and will clarify his own opinionon the subject. If he is not available, discuss your issue with a person you respect. The essay answers the question WHY? (E. g. a persuasive essay answers the question WHY do I have such an opinionon the point?). In other words, essay can be defined as some kind of a letter to your imaginary friend (your perspective reader) who asked you the question “WHY?”. So, the first section of your “letter” is - introduction. Here you inform the reader about the essence of the problem and prepare him for the course of the discussion. Then you continue your discourse in supporting paragraphs. Your aim is to gain the reader over and to capture his imagination. How can you do it? Examples: A lot of sound, pertinent examples make a convincing and effective essay. Especially rich in the examples must be expository essays which aim at explaining something to the audience. Last sentences of the essay make up a conclusion. It is your final word with the reader. So, use it efficiently and make a strong notable conclusion. Though essay is not the easiest task, but if you give a conscious approach to it, if you treat it with spirit, then your essay will help you to win the tutor’s respect. And what is more important you will believe that you are creative and inventive!
